Since 2013, organizations have layered AI onto cloud and collaboration platforms without establishing information classification frameworks that distinguish confidential from non-confidential data. This leaves sensitive information exposed to AI systems that crawl and process it. Protective controls tied to data classification are missing or disabled, creating major risk when data moves to the cloud.
So when you take a look, since 2013, cloud technology has been pervasive and it's big data and it, you know, it's collaboration platforms, but they're laying AI on top of that. And what we take for granted, the people on this call, like we literally do risk, we're risk professionals, cybersecurity professionals, et cetera. This is what Reveal Risk does. But other organizations have not set up info class and delineated what is confidential and what's not confidential. Etc. And by doing that, by not doing that, they're putting this data into cloud, and the cloud is crawling you with AI. So there's a lot of controls that actually protect or define the info class that are not enabled.
