Staying in the same role for over two years is risky as agentic AI automates routine data work. Document your knowledge and move into new responsibilities before your job becomes obsolete. Continual learning and proactive role evolution are now essential for job security.
Whatever you're doing today, if you're doing the same thing 2 years from now, it's probably the wrong path. So as you do things, try to figure out how to hand that knowledge off to the next person, the next group, the next organization, so you can move on to tackle more difficult and different things. Take what you learned, but move on to the next topic. That's going to be key to success. I think there is going to be some shifts. There are jobs out there, their entire job was, "I clean up data." In basic data processing, these forms come in, I type them in, and there are a lot of those out there. Those, those are going away. The tools have already been out there. AI was that final push to get that last 5% where people can just wholesale replace these entire outfits. That stuff's gonna go away. So for those types of roles, you gotta, and, but I go back to the figure out how to do something different in your job so it's not the same as it was 2 years from now. Those will be key.
