Speaker B is moving to Virtue radio for weeknight shows while launching a clothing line for larger men. Speaker A's baby arrives in a week, it's a boy, and they're getting married in two months. Both are building businesses and reflecting on patience, generational impatience, and what it takes to last.

Tell me, I want to know the news.
You want to know the news?
I want to know the news before it goes viral.
All right, let me tell you the news. Of course, I was planning on coming and telling you anyway. So I'm going to be off air not for that long.
I figured you're going to another station.
Yeah, Virtue. Really?
Big league, brother. Yeah, I had a feeling it was that. Not only that, but weeknights, 6 to 8 PM. Huge, bro.
It's huge. I know.
Fucking A, man.
Yeah, what's good with you?
We're waiting for the squawky kid to come.
Yeah, when is it?
Uh, I got another week to the due date, so it could happen pretty much anytime.
That's crazy.
So yeah, you want to drink?
I mean, should we?
Why not? We're celebrating.
Yeah, that's right, tons of celebrations.
I'll just hear you later. Both? Yeah. Thank you so much. Salud, brother.
Yeah, it's a new chapter.
Absolutely. Yeah, a lot of chapters. Yeah, big changes.
Well, I mean, a lot of big changes, but none bigger than yours.
And what's that?
Well, you're going to have a new kid.
Yeah, I guess that's a big thing.
Yeah, I guess that's kind of big. You want to pray loudly? A boy, right? Boy. Wow. 2 girls, 1 boy.
I'm excited about this.
That's great, a teammate.
Yeah, exactly. You know what, I love my daughters, but I felt I needed the— like, I was gonna be happy with 3 girls for sure, and I was preparing myself for that, so I wasn't really thinking I was gonna get a boy. And then when we found out it was a boy, I don't know, just like kind of getting somewhat nostalgic.
So your fiancée would be excited about all this? Yeah, man, she just started a new job also because she graduated school. So she's going with that. I mean, yeah, we're super excited for this new experience, new opportunity. It's crazy. Yeah, man, I'm down for it.
It's all big.
Big things. Big things. Not only that, the wedding. So now this is like the prep cut. This is like, we got to keep that in mind.
2 months away. Less. Less.
Yeah, so like it'll be this cut and then it'll probably be clean up before. Yeah, or yeah, yeah. So the clothing line has been like, like a year-long process so far, you know. We've been taking our time, not rushing anything.
Your brother's in there with you?
No, no, no, I'm working actually with the founders.
Yeah, yeah, you know what he was telling me.
Yeah, Michael would tell me that. So what happened was last year I came into an event and Michael saw me, and he saw me like, you know, dressed up, and he was like, man, you look great. And this was when I was 50 lbs heavier, you know. He's like, you look great. I'm like, thanks, man. Like, it's funny you say that, like, I actually designed my own stuff that I'm wearing. He's like, you designed this t-shirt? I'm like, yeah. Because what, it's hard to find t-shirts that fit you? Yeah, I couldn't find anything like on trend that isn't—
On trend.
Yeah, exactly.
Because they make for larger people.
But it's all like a box fit and like it literally fits like this, this cape. Yeah. So I've been designing my own t-shirts and stuff for like 3 years, just going to Fabricville, working with a seamstress that I had out here. And he's like, man, you look great. I'm like, yeah, it's my custom stuff. He's like, you made this? I was like, yeah. He's like, we gotta talk.
Yeah, that was business.
Yeah, call me, call me tomorrow. So I called him, he's like, you got to come in, we got to figure this out. I think this— I think you're really on to something. So I went in and we started just playing around with some ideas, seeing how it would be doable for For the past year, we've been literally handpicking the ideal cloth, the ideal material that will fit on a big man, that will look slimming, that will feel comfortable, that will be thick enough that you won't feel like all your rolls are exposed when you're sitting down.
And the sweating factor, right?
All those things. So now, feel this t-shirt.
That feels amazing.
It's, it's literally tough, man. I've been, I've been, I've been plant-based for 2 months.
Show like how you— the early stages. Yeah, night and day.
Crazy.
You don't realize because you've been working at it hard, but like over time you don't really realize the transformation as much as it's apparent when you actually show it side by side. Yeah.
Oh man, I could show you this picture.
That was making you feel good. Look at your fucking shoulders.
Crazy, eh? You didn't have— Yeah, yeah, that was like a ball of mush.
Yeah, yeah. Look at the definition.
Crazy, eh?
How long was that?
That was from November to like July, and now I've been plant-based vegan. For 2 months. I lost 30 pounds in 2 months.
Just watching what you eat? Yeah. Just changing your eating?
Well, I mean, I've been working out also a lot with my buddy Alex.
Yeah.
He must be fucking proud of you. Yeah, for sure. Man, he like, I mean, he's got a lot of people that are working hard in his gym. He's like, man, like, you're working so hard, you know? And I've really like made it.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah, oh for sure.
And anything that came easy will go just as easy.
Man, look at you with this, you know, like, and you know, you're, you're scratching the surface, you know what I mean?
Like, it's doing something like this, I'm scratching the surface. I'm getting to where I want to be.
But I really—
you realize that as you get older too, the only way things are gonna have an impact where things are gonna last is if you build a solid structure, you know what I mean? Foundation is there. And you know, the thing is, like, most younger generations especially want everything so fast, you know? They see what you got and they're like, wow, I want that too. And I'm like, what am I gonna do? Dude, it takes time. Like everything else, it takes time. You're planting seeds. You plant— you just do a garden.
Yeah, of course.
You know, like, one when anything seems to take at least fucking 3 months before anything shows. Yeah, you have no idea what it is. Yeah, to work hard at something and to build something from nothing, you know? Yeah, that's not building, you know what I mean? When someone discovers— I'm saying it's great it happens, but that's how fast it can happen. So for sure, you know, but when you're talking like you really want to like build something solid, I wanted in my life took me 25 years. Of course, you know, and it was It's when I stopped trying for what I wanted that things started to come to me, you know what I mean?
Yeah.
It's when you stop putting yourself out there saying, this is what I want, I want this, it's like, fuck it, I'm just gonna do what I like and I'm gonna do it well, that people started to like notice it and say, hey, you know, this guy's got something. Yeah, it comes in time. No one wants to wait for it.
When did you want— when did you know you wanted to do that with hair? Like, was that—
was that really, really very early? Like, I wanted this, like what I got going on now. For the last 15 years, I wanted something like this. Tiny was never right. I never thought like Montreal was ready for something like barber shop-esque, like the hybrid really of what we're doing, right? Like something along those lines, you know what I'm saying? And it wasn't. If I would have done this 15 years ago, I don't think I would have had the same, uh, response that I got now, for sure. But all that to say, like, it came in time and I'm getting there, and it's like, it's It's really— I think we're making enough noise right now that like, now is my time to grow, you know what I mean? I know it works. I've tried the formula. I like the way— I'm liking the response I'm getting. I like where we're going with it. So now it's about growth. Yeah. 10,000 hours, right?
That'd be great.
So you put that— let me talk to you about what you want.
That's, that's why I'm super excited about the radio opportunity, because It's gonna finally give— so, you know, a common theme that I've been discovering is that like I have, I have a certain way live. I have a certain way personally, like one-on-one over the crowd or whatever. Yeah, but I felt that that was still missing from my radio, that I wasn't given an opportunity to like practice enough. So now instead of being on air for 2 nights a week, I'm gonna be on air for 6 nights a week.
How's Jake doing? What's he up to?
Waxman's. The cool thing with Jake working Waxman's is that, you know, my grandfather, when he was there, it was just a tuxedo shop. Obviously it wasn't the espresso bar, it wasn't the barbershop, all that. But everyone used to come to just hang out with my Zeta, you know? Yeah. So now what I find is like Jake has that that same allure. Yeah, you know, like, he's got this crowd of goons that, like, love going in there just to— like, now there's, there's the draw for the coffee, but even if there wasn't, like, people would just be going to chill with Jake.
100%.
I used to be in there watching my Zeta, like, schmooze with all of his boys, you know? And now it's the same thing. Like, I feel that same thing.
Yeah, it's amazing.
So sick. I mean, I can't see what's going on because my glasses are off, but it looks glorious. Yeah, it looks crazy. I'm giving you tuxedo ready hair.
Yeah, I'm getting—
I'm getting— uh, September 10th. Really? Yeah. Hey man, big things. It's also Jules's birthday on September 9th. Yeah, it's just like my 6-year anniversary on air. Crazy, eh?
I know, I like the place, but I get the shits. Pardon my French, but I get the shits. When I eat there, I get the shits.
It's just like one word.
Wait a minute, what do you mean? I mean, I get the shits, like shit comes out of my ass.
