Ciao! Hola! What's up everybody? AdamTB1, you know, the original Mr. Wonderful, coming at you and letting you know I am going on a trip of a lifetime. My fiancée and I got engaged pretty much exactly a year ago. She just graduated her second master's in couple and family therapy. This lady has balloons because she just finished her master's. You did it! And she's got some time off now before she gets a job. So instead of taking a honeymoon in October after our wedding, we figured let's take the time now, let's take a 3-week vacation, and let's go and have an an amazing time. So we are going to Italy, Spain, and Portugal. More specifically, Rome, Sorrento, Florence, Cinque Terre, Barcelona, Valencia, Lisbon, Lagos, and Porto. If you know anything about any of these places, send us a message. Send me a message in the comments below. I'm talking food, I'm talking beaches, I'm talking architecture. Anything that we need to see or do in these places, Let us know. I'm gonna be documenting the whole trip. Obviously, I won't be able to put out the videos as I go along because I'm gonna have to come home and edit them. But my brother, Seen By Wolf, check him out, he's great. Jack of all trades at the Waxman house. He does it all. He does it all. Is lending me this awesome camera. So the reason why I'm taking this camera as opposed to my Nikon with my manual lenses is number one, It has autofocus, which my Nikon with my manual lenses doesn't have. Also, it's a lot lighter than my big Nikon camera. And third of all, I don't know if you can see this, but it flips out into like selfie mode. I could be vlogging, I could be saying, "Hey, I'm here, blah blah." Now I also wanted to make sure that I had good audio because when the camera is autofocusing on the Fujifilm X70, it makes a bit of noise. So I got creative. Number one, I wanted to have this on a Joby GorillaPod anyway because, you know, for selfie purposes and all that good stuff. So I'm gonna slip it right onto this Joby just like so. And now you can see that I got the Rode VideoMicro on another smaller Joby just like this. And let's plug this in. Let's see how it sounds. This is actually the first time I'm testing this audio, so I anticipate that there's gonna be a bit of like shock noise while holding this apparatus because of the way I mounted the mic. I wasn't able to really utilize the shock absorber of the Rode VideoMicro. This is how it'll look. It's autofocusing, I think. I don't know if you could hear it autofocusing. I hope not. I'm also testing the mic for the first time, so I hope that it sounds decent. I have these things dangling that might affect stuff, so now I suppose I could walk around, test it out, see if the exposure changes, which it is. And this is how I intend to walk around Italy, Spain, and Portugal. So like I said, if you have any recommendations, please send them to me in the comments. You can also follow my whole journey on Instagram, Facebook. Those are probably the best places, you know. Oh, Snapchat also. And thanks for coming on this journey with me. I'm Adam, TB1, Taking Things One Day at a Time. And I am out of focus. And I am in focus now. No. How about now? How about now? Oh, this should be interesting on the trip. Focus on me. Like an Ariana Grande song. Please, won't you just focus? Are we focused? There we go. There we go. Goodbye.
