Yeah, that's right, we're going back on air, people. Gonna put this right over here. First of all, I need to say a humongous thank you to everyone that follows me and has messaged me and shared my video and liked and commented and everything. I was expecting the announcement to be fun and, you know, a super big thing for me and for people to share in my life. I didn't expect the reaction I got from that video. I was really pleasantly surprised. I'm glad everybody liked it. It was super fun to film that back-to-school video. I wanted to hit on the nostalgia of using that Billy Madison throwback. Back to school, obviously with my own little twist. Still on the radio 'cause radio's cool. I don't know if you saw all of my shoutouts, but of course, you know, I picked up the red knapsack for Virgin. I picked up the red glasses for Virgin. I changed my name tag from TB1 to Adam Greenberg. You know, walked by the Orange Julep. I live right nearby, and it's also a huge shout out to Montreal. Since it's a back-to-school video, figured I'd give a shout out to my high school where I sit on the board of directors at St. George's. And then, you know, get into the studio. Nice little fun play on back-to-school. I'm glad everyone liked it, and I'm just so excited to be saying these words out loud that I am joining Virgin Radio. I'm gonna be on air from Monday to Thursday, 6 PM to 8 PM, and on the weekends from noon to 5. So you're gonna get a whole lot of Adam Greenberg, AKA TB1, and I wanted to explain a little bit about that. You know, this has been a process that's been going on for quite a bit of time that I'm moving over to Virgin. And when I was speaking with Mark Bergman, my program director, he brought up hesitantly to say, hey, how would you like to be Adam Greenberg on air as opposed to TB1? And he was kind of like, you know, tap dancing around the subject because he didn't want to offend me. And it's actually something that I've been thinking about doing for a while now. I knew that I wanted to grow and mature into the radio world, and I felt like A part of that was to use my real name and to be on air as Adam instead of having this other sort of nickname that is between me and the people I'm speaking to, that is TB1. Of course, you know, I might still be using that name. I still very much identify with it. You don't have to worry about being afraid to call me Adam or T-Bone or TB1 or whatever you want to call me. That's fine. But I'm very excited to take this next step into branding myself as a personality on air and off air and online and all of these places as Adam Greenberg. If you've been following me for a while, you know that I'm also working on a feature-length film behind the scenes. This is not something that's going to come out next week, next month. No, this is a very long-term project that I'm working on. Throughout my videos, you'll see little parts of that process along with all the other things that I'm doing to entertain And this is one of the reasons why I've been making these videos is to just practice. I have a background in film. I love making videos, and these are why I'm making these videos. So let me take you on a little insider of my first day at Virgin Radio. So I showed up to the studio, which is on René-Lévesque and Papineau. I come to these lovely ladies at the front desk. I was about to walk in and then I see this beautiful boy. It's real. It is real. You better believe it's real. And there's this cool entrance with big sliding doors. There's a stage on the left. The vibe is very cool. In fact, when I first walked into Virgin Radio, as I was walking in, Jacob and Dave from Headley were walking out, and I actually bumped into those boys on tour with Downward Webster a couple of years ago, so I knew them. A little bit of a, like, fish-out-of-water type of experience because I'm meeting new people, you know. These are all people that have worked together for years, and I comfortable with one another, and I'm the new guy. I don't want to step on anyone's toes because I got big feet and all that. But so I walk in, everyone's super nice, very, very comfortable very quickly, and go check out the studio, meet a bunch of people, go in. And now, you know, you might be thinking like, okay, Adam, you're going to a new radio station, that's probably the same kind of thing. Well, it is and it isn't. It's basically like driving a car. So if you switch from car to car, of course it's the same driving on the road. But if somebody were to tell you to turn on the air conditioning in your car that you're comfortable with, you'd be like, "Oh yeah, sure, let me turn on the AC." But if somebody told you to turn on the air conditioning in somebody else's car, you'd be like, "Is it this knob? Is it this switch? Is it this? I don't know." That's kind of what it's like to be on a new radio station because everyone has a different interface. It's kind of like maybe using PC versus Mac. I'm just super excited for this experience. Keep following along. I'm going to be posting a video about my first day on air shortly, once my first day on air has happened and passed so I could make a video about it. Join me on Virgin Radio where we're going to be hanging out, having fun together. As an entire city. Montreal, I love you. Thank you for watching. Thank you for listening. Bye-bye. I'm Adam Greenberg, host on Virgin Radio. Thanks for watching. Thanks for sharing, commenting, liking, all those good things.
