Hey, guess what? I'm freaking out. Why? Because we're going to Italy. We're going to Rome! Let's do it! This was a crazy day. Day 1 of our trip. It was awesome to say the least, but it started off a bit rocky. We got to the airport. We're in the middle of the airport full of people. She's ruining our vlog. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. This is the loudest human being on the planet. Could you hear this? Okay, so we're going on our honeymoon. Yeah, pre-moon. Pre-moon. Someone said it's bad luck to call it a honeymoon before the wedding, right? It's a pre-moon. Pre-moon. Flying to to Rome right now. Yeah. Got onto our plane smooth. Julia and I were sitting next to each other, and then like obviously the other biggest guy on the plane comes and sits in the middle seat. Did I say he was in the middle or in the window? Because he was in the window. Julia was in the middle. He was humongous. He was probably like 6'5", 400 pounds, smelt like bologna, and he sat down and Julia was freaking out like, "Oh my God, I gotta spend 8 hours next to this guy, and not only that, but stuck between him and I." Anyway, we managed to maneuver another seat so she sat behind, like a couple rows behind me in an aisle seat. We weren't together for the flight, but it was the best case scenario with the cards we were dealt. And then we got to Rome at 10:15 in the morning, took the train from the airport to Roma Termini, went right to our hotel where we're staying at Hotel Rex. The hotel room looks like this. Got the bathroom, pretty sizable bathroom, little lounge area. I would recommend it, kind of smells like pee, But I feel like all hotels in Rome smell like pee, so— Then we went on to our hop-on hop-off tour. Saw so many beautiful things in Rome. The Colosseum, a bunch of other ancient-looking things. And we ate at this little pizzeria where we had a delicious little pizza. Took a lot of cool pictures, saw a lot of cool stuff. Rome is this super urban city that has these crazy ancient landmarks right in the middle of it. After the hop-on hop-off tour, Got showered super quickly and then went for dinner where we wanted to go near the Trevi Fountain, and we stumbled upon this place that my uncle was telling me about called— what was it called? Prosciutteria? La Prosciutteria. And it was incredible. They ended up wanting to play my music in the spot. It's lit at Prosciutteria. And we indulged in pure deliciousness. I'm talking meat. Heaven. If you're in Rome, that is the one food recommendation I could give you. Make sure to go. There's a crazy wait outside, but it's worth it. It is delicious. And then we went to the Trevi Fountain, which was incredibly beautiful. We had some more gelato, and then we went to the Spanish Steps, which was very beautiful, although at that point we had been up for 35 hours. No sleeping. And now we are shutting it down and waking up early and taking the train to Naples to get onto a ferry to Sorrento where we will be for the next couple of days. See you tomorrow.
