The clip lists seven high-impact capabilities (owner research, dialect cloning, instant quoting, emotional-AI negotiation, e-signing, below-mortgage financing, and automated job ordering) and then reveals it as an April Fools' prank used to warn the roofing industry about rapid regulatory and technological change (mentions FLSA changes, Minnesota and Florida/Louisiana laws). The video's purpose is both to entertain and to urge roofers to adapt and collaborate via the Roofing and Solar Reform Alliance.

This deals a death blow to the roofing industry. This horrifying new AI tech drops tomorrow. It's not even supposed to be public. A private equity group has invested hundreds of millions of dollars on this technology that was supposed to be released and is going to be released tomorrow. What ended up happening is the publicity firm accidentally leaked by pushing the press release out a day early. They peeled it back off the Internet like that. It has vanished. I was able to grab a screenshot to share it with you. Right now, what you're about to see, you're getting a day early so you can be prepared for what's to come. I wasn't planning on doing this video, which is why I'm at my desk in my office. I've got the press release pulled up in front of me. I'm going to walk through it with you. It will likely be scary, it will likely be horrifying. Please stick around to the end so you can hear all the details. There's seven key things that this new AI tool is capable of and that you need to know about. At the end, I'll share what this means to you. I'm sorry to bring scary news, but let's get started. All right, I've got this press release pulled up and I'm going to be turning to look at this to you so we can figure out what's going on here. I was only able to grab a few screenshots before this was taken down. I saw the date of when this thing was supposed to be released and that's where I was like, this is a day early. We have to grab this for our people. So I'm going to read the highlights. A new AI tool capable of machine learning to clone the top sales performer of the company to match the regional dialect and speaking cadence specific to the states or regions in which they serve. This new technology had been in development for the last five years with almost $250 million of development tech. Introducing Deals. D E E L Z By the way, Deals. Our new tool is capable of cold calling, handling inbound leads and running full blown virtual sales appointments. Being the fact this can be cloned, that means your salesforce can be as large as you have leads. Now I'm going to break down the seven things that Deals is capable of, starting with the first one which will blow your mind. Number one, Deals is capable of researching the property owner while on the phone, instantly scouring public records of home value, political affiliation, credit scores, education level in the last 30 days of spending history. Number two, deals will instantaneously adjust the talking style cadence in word choice to match the prospect's education and political affiliations. Number three, deals can instantly provide quotes on the property address based on preset criteria. Number four deals with their new emotional intelligence programming. Yes, they're one of the first AI to create emotional intelligence capable of advancing complex conversations so they can then present, overcome objections and close deals. Make number five capable of e signing the contract. Duh, you'd hope so. And then number six, this is where things get really weird. The power of large organizations coming together. They have structured financing options at 2% below mortgage rates with guaranteed approvals down to 580 credit score. Say goodbye to competing in the financing space. And then number seven, the icing on top will automatically put together the job order based on details of the contract, send the details to the supplier so the material can get delivered, and will automatically scan schedule production with your team. I can't even believe that this is here. It's not a far stretch of the imagination, but there's one more piece. Let me scroll down and find it. Right here it is. April Fools. Gotcha. Listen, I wanted to have some fun, put a smile on your face, but I actually made this for a deeper message because yes, there is changes in this industry and yes, they are coming fast. Things like FLSA, the Fair Labor Services act went into effect March 11. That changed the 10W2 thing. Minnesota is releasing a new law as well. At least it's in the works. And they're trying to push it through, which takes FLA's already strict standards and make them even stricter, which would then make crews pretty much being like, necessary to be employees and not subcontractors. That could completely change the game. And then what's scary about what Minnesota's doing is because Florida already passed SB 76. Now there were certain aspects of the law deemed unconstitutional thanks to Gale Force Roofing, who I sued, the state went up to the Supreme Court and won. But now Louisiana is copying pretty much exactly what Florida has done in SB 76, including some of the language that was deemed unconstitutional in Florida. And these changes, they are coming, they're coming down the pipe fast. But none of these changes will happen as fast as fear. Yes, we need to ride the wave. And yes, there are two types of companies. Those that will adapt to the change and those that will get drowned by the change.
