Now, thanks again for coming back with me here. I really, really appreciate it. And my purpose of this video today is to help you find the easiest way to knock doors, because I know what it's like. I've walked a million miles in your shoes. I show up in a neighborhood, I. I'd start knocking doors, and I'd see a couple things happening. One, no one would be home and like, okay, so I go to the next neighborhood. I'd start there. Not interested, not interested, not interested. Okay, let's just. The next neighborhood's gonna be better. I go into the next neighborhood. There's yard signs everywhere. There's door hangers already hung. I feel defeated, so I drive around a little bit more, and then I try the next neighborhood, and then I drive around a little bit more, and then I procrastinate, and I continue driving, and then I go home. I ended up wasting all this time, and it felt like I was chasing this uphill battle. And then in my mind, I'm experiencing all the things that the customer that yelled at me to knock on the door. Get a real job, you scumbag. The next guy knocks on your door. If I was interested, I would have Called you knock on the door. The insults continue and they're even more colorful when they're in person. These things have a tendency to beat us down and then we get in our head and then we put ourselves in this mindset of this stigma of I'm a door to door salesperson, therefore I fit the category that this prospect has put me in this box of being a sleazeball, a scumbag need to get a real job. If I wanted a roofer, I'd call you. And then all of this I outside chatter becomes my own internal dialogue. And before you know it, my confidence is tanking and I'm not out in front of homeowners on the doors. And then my sales suffer. This system will solve all of that for you. And it is very simple because the truth is there's only five reasons that you're going to show up at this house. And I'm going to list through them here and give you an insight into my sales system that's currently being used by many, many, many, many thousands of people, including a company, by the way, that did $60 million in sales and spending virtually $0 on marketing. This system makes door knocking easy and fun and converts you from being a complete stranger. So the stranger is what most people categorize as door to door sales is someone that's dropped off in like a windowless van in some new neighborhood and they're out knocking door. Hi, I am in your neighborhood today helping homeowners, blah, blah, blah, blah blah. They're doing some canned pitch and they have no idea where they are. The mainstream of a door to door salesperson is this cold door knocking. There's no brand familiarity. You're showing up to totally cold and you're fighting an uphill battle because you, my friend, have these two questions the same way your homeowners do. So join me on an exercise. You're sitting at home right now, it's 5:30 at night. You got home, it's been a long day and you just sat down for dinner and you hear this. You turn to your significant other with that glance of are you expecting anybody? And then these two questions come up. What are they? Who the heck is that? And what the heck do they want? So now the homeowner answers the door, door opens, they look at you, they size you because they first want to know, who are you? So they're going to glance and be like, okay, is this person safe? Are they professional? Are they here for a reason? And then they're going to find out what is it that you want? If you had this happen, homeowners answer the door and say, what do you want? Knowing this upfront, we can appeal to their natural questions. And that's what makes door knocking very easy. So now that we got the groundwork laid, I'm going to finally spill the beans in the five simple ways. The five reasons that you're showing up at this house. Number one is when you're knocking a brand new neighborhood. I ideally, this is the shortest time window of door knocking that we do each and every year. And it goes like this. We're going to show up at that neighborhood, we're going to knock the door, we're going to use the slap formula. By the way, I teach this here on YouTube and get the full system inside my sales system got packages for reps individually or full teams. You can learn more for yourself and see a demo. We're going to use that slap formula and make our pitch as familiar as possible. Hey, the reason I'm stopping by today, I'm talking to some of your neighbors here on Lexington Lane. Alright, not I'm in your neighborhood, I'm using specificity because specificity sells. Just like on the news, no one gets injured or shot by a gun per se. The news, they dramatize it. They were shot with a black semi automatic military style assault rifle. That's specificity. So it paints this graphic image as opposed to someone being shot by a gun. That's what I mean by specificity sells. So when I'm showing up at the door, I want to make it specific to their neighborhood so it's familiar to them. Hey, I'm talking to some of the neighbors here in Lexington Lane. That means like I'm there on purpose. That's the hardest thing to do. But we are going to shift from being a total stranger. Hey, I'm in your neighborhood today doing this like no, I'm talking to some of your neighbors here, which is the truth. Whether you have a deal or not, you're in the neighborhood, on their street talking to the neighbors. Number two, once you sign a new customer. So I just signed up Peggy. This is Peggy's mailbox of Peggy's house. If you know Peggy, you know Peggy. I just signed up Peggy. So I'm tromping on over. I go to her neighbors and I knock on the door, use the slap formula. I say, hey, my name is Adam. The reason I'm stopping by Peggy just chose us to do her roof. And there you have it. I'm showing up with familiarity Peggy just chose us. So. So when I sign a new customer, I'm knocking the next door, next thing when the job is scheduled. Hey, the reason I'm stopping by, we're doing Peggy's roof tomorrow, the next one on the day of install. Hey, Peggy's roof's going on today, the next one. We did Peggy's roof last week. And now you'll notice that there's a shift that occurs, that instead of being a total stranger trying to break into these new neighborhoods where the homeowner's thinking, what again? Who the heck is it? What the heck do they want? They're thinking, I've seen you in the neighborhood. You're that roof strategist guy. I've seen you on that roof. I've seen you driving by all day. I've gotten your letter on my door. I've got your letter in the mail. So that immediately is resolved because there's familiarity from repetitions in the neighborhood. And when they say, what do you want? It's cloaked as a service visit. The reason I'm stopping by is because this is going on. It's like a courtesy notice and allows us to keep the conversation going and transition from a courtesy visit to a discovery question to find out where they're at in the process so we can help them. When you use this system, what will happen is that you start in one neighborhood doing the door knocking in a new neighborhood, which is the shortest time window, you grab one sale that turns into another and another and another, and then you begin working these customer, customer touch points, and you truly give that customer of yours an amazing experience. And then through that familiarity in these precise timed visits that make door knocking easy, we now take over the entire neighborhood. And when you do that, door knocking is so simple and you don't freak out about it, Your team doesn't freak out about it in the sales flood in. And this is the system that Bill, who I shared before, used to generate $2.1 million in one single neighborhood. Imagine going to work the same day at the same place and pulling out 2.1 million with absolutely zero experience whatsoever in roofing sales. It has happened and it can happen for you. So if you want the entire sales system, you should see and decide for yourself. You can click the link in the description or text the word demo. D E M O to 303-222-7133. You'll see how the whole system works and see and decide for yourself. Super simple now. Thank you for joining me in today's video and I really hope this helps you make door knocking easy. I want to leave you with one pro tip as a little thank you for sticking around all the way to the end and that is this. I learned this from a gentleman named Carl who I interviewed channel and to get little nerves out when he was knocking the first door of the day he would find a door that he knew no one was home and he'd show up and he knocked that door. He knew no one would answer but it just got him in the rhythm taking that first step. So Carl, thank you for sharing that one with me and allowing me to share that advice with others. Now just because our time here is about to wrap up does not mean you're in my time has to. So if you haven't yet done it, jump into my free training center or hang with me here on YouTube and I'll help you master your pitch at the doors.
