My name is Adam Bensman, the roof strategist. And if you look over my shoulder, we got a roof getting installed. Now, moments ago, that neighbor across the street had their garage door open. What an incredible opportunity to make more sales. Now, besides getting referrals, the second biggest opportunity for growing your book of business is to work the neighbors from your installs. It's fresh, it's a big production, everyone sees it, people are drawn out, they're paying attention. So here's a few quick tips on how to strategically knock doors in work neighborhoods to drum up business from your current install. Now, you'll notice that one of the ways that I do this is not by aggressively asking for the sale. We want to give value first and present ourselves as a professional kind company that's interested in the well being of our neighbors. So here's one thing. I walk up to the neighbor's door, got my business card in hand, my clipboard, and I knock. And they answer the door and say, hi, I'm doing Mike's roof next door. My name's Adam. I'm with the roof strategist. Wanted to give you my car. In the event that any debris comes your way, please, please call me. I'll take care of it personally. We respect not only our customers houses, but our neighbors as well. I appreciate your time. Oh, by the way, did you get a chance to get your roof looked at yet? We got Mike's approved by the insurance. And then the dialogue begins. So again, bring value first, then ask for the sale. Passive. Ask for the sale. Knock on the door. Hey, my name's Adam. We're doing Mike's roof across the street. Got coverage from the recent hail damage. Just wanted to introduce myself. And if any debris shingle bags come flying in your yard, please call me. I'll take care of it personally. We respect not only our customers, but their neighbors as well. Thanks for your time. By the way, have you had a chance to get your roof looked at yet? So no matter how you do it, we want to work the neighbors at least bare minimum on either side of the house, in the backyard, and anywhere within earshot they're going to hear those hammers, they're going to see it driving by. So next time you got an install going on, be sure to go work them, see if you can drum up some additional business. That's all we got for today's video. See you guys around.
