Hey. Hey, everybody. Adam here, the roof strategist. And Today's video, the 11 must have apps for roofing sales. Now, I got this email a few times. People asking, hey, what app should I have? I'm new to the business. What app should I have? Or I've been in the business for a while. What will help me work faster? And you're going to find answers to questions like those. Thank you to Joseph, who emailed and he said, hey, man, I know I've been blowing up your email, lol. But I was wondering if you could recommend some useful apps. Okay. And then you can see a little thumbnail of the personal video reply I sent. So if you have any video Suggestions, email me Adamushredders.com that's what drives this. Because this entire channel and everything I do is built around a simple philosophy. You ask, I answer. That's what drives the videos. That's what drives products. On that front, special announcement coming shortly. So what I'm going to share today is a list. I took some handwritten notes with my beautiful handwriting because there are 11 apps and there's different solutions. So I'm an Android user myself, a lot of people and this thingies. And then I have Apple products for my computers, but everyone's got different things. So I'm going to give you 11 apps. So 11 that are going to help you do this. So why do these matter? Obviously, you need to stay organized. Okay? You need to work faster, which ultimately, as you've seen anyone who watches this channel, one limiting factor for your income is speed. All right? Speed will dictate your earning potential and then earn more, because at the end of the day, this is what it's all about. And time is your enemy. Okay? You need to learn how to be as efficient as possible. So I'm going to go over the 11 apps. I'm going to give you some exact recommendations and then general themes, like if there's more than one that you can use. So before we jump in, I have one special announcement because this just happened literally right before here today. I just released the brand new, updated and expanded marketing battle pack, and I'm super pumped. We handle the tech issues because the file was literally so large, it is now over 70 pages. And as I mentioned, you ask, I answer. I've built in a bunch of new material, including material for churches, property management companies, cold outreach for insurance agents to bolt onto that program. I've, I think, doubled or tripled the amount of direct mail letters for homeowners, including wind damage, three Tab shingles, discontinued shingles and old storm damage, just to name a few. A follow up letter, a whole bunch more commercial property outreach. What else is in there? A whole section for real estate agents. There's a bunch. And so anyway, if you check it out, you can. There's a link in the description. If you got my email, there's a link there for this week is kind of a launch special. I'm doing 50 bucks off and that's again just for this week only. So if you want to take advantage of it, you're welcome to. If you are already a customer, you'll get an update with the updated file. But I just want to share a couple wins. Thanks. Thanks. One of your sales letters made me a couple million in sales last year. I love all the things in your marketing battle pack. I've implemented the contingency agreement. Sold a 12k product my first attempt. Trained one of my canvasser and appointment setters how to cold call apartments and commercial buildings. By the way, those scripts are in there. And the first one he called, he got a bite. Did the inspection today. We're starting the process. Phenomenal training by the way, your letters are working, homie. Adam just got a same day deal inked using the referral technique. My entire referral program's in there and five calls still to make. And then Avi said, by the way, the owner of the company I worked for also bought your pack. My numbers started to surpass the other canvassers and they wanted to know why. I showed them who I was watching on YouTube and not even two days later they bought a copy. Your material is solid bro. Best money I've ever invested. Definitely be looking out for the updates. Thanks again. So anyway, just that's it. So if you're interested, take a look. If you already have it, keep an eye on your inbox. It'll be coming soon. So let's jump in right now to to my 11 must have app. So I'm gonna be looking at these notes. The reason I did this so I don't miss anything. And I'm gonna be writing these up here. So first one again. These apps are gonna help you work more efficiently, stay organized and earn more money. First is a pitch gauge. Why an app you can use a standard pitch gauge. Some of us have them, some of us don't wanna buy them. It's free. Pitch Gauge Pro I believe is the app on Android. I don't know what the one is on iPhone, but it will at least give you a quick. I know you Might be using Hover, you might be using Eagle View. But when you're up doing inspections, it's just good to know are we over the 712? Are we up into steep territory? How steep? All right, so pitch gauge is the first one. Second one is one click code. By the way, one thing here just to get this out of the way. I am not an affiliate. I'm not endorsed and I'm not paid by anybody at all outside of my customers that I serve. These apps that I'm bringing up are here for a reason, but I believe in them. I vetted them and I think they'll help you. So I have no affiliation with any of these. Okay. This is purely on what I think can help you. One click code. This app is also available on desktop. You've seen Garrett Kurt, the founder, on the channel. I've actually helped with Garrett on some consulting. We work together from just ideation to bring this life. It's been awesome to see. You can type in any property address and get a list of code items for that property. So let's say you type in a property and it's in the this city, in this county. It's going to show you what building codes are enforced if they enforce manufacturer's recommendation. So you can have this report ready when you meet with the adjuster to get all those things. Hey, this. Excuse me. This municipality requires ice and water shield. This municipality requires drip edge or not. This says you need to follow manufacturer's install recommendations, which then gives you more items. Right. Paying for starter and all these things. So this is. I think they just turned to a paid model, but it's incredibly affordable. You'll have to check. I don't know the details. This is free. This one might be paid. All right, the next one is aerial measurements. Now everyone has some their own preference. You can use Eagle View, you can use Hover. I just met with Hover. We just actually did a video together. You can keep an eye out for. So they'll be kind of promoting some of that material that we've done together. And Hover I think is just really neat. I like that it's quicker. You know, you can do it right on this on the fly and you get the overhang measurement. So if you are using ice and water and you leak barrier, you can again use that aerial measurement with the adjuster. So you need an aerial measurement program, whatever you use. All right, next one is a construction calculator. Now I have an Android and on there feet and inches. The main thing is to be able to. I am horrible at math. You've seen. I've seen comments like, dude, your math was wrong in the video. Especially for really quick on the fly things. I've made errors trying to round things up like 16ft and, you know, eight inches. I'll just round up to three quarters and I'll mess something up. So a construction calculator, the factory calculator with Android has a feet and inches. There are apps like dewalt has an app and there's a bunch if you just search a construction calculator app. In my opinion, it is an absolute must have. Especially if you're doing any hand measuring. All right, next thing, your CRM. If you are not using a CRM customer relationship management software, something like Accu Links, for example. Again, I'm not affiliated with anybody. I know Accu Links has an app, I'm sure. I actually don't know if jobnimbus does, but any of the other CRMs, when you have that app on your phone, you can work on the fly. Fun fact, when I was running a team I helped bring in and we started to use a CRM and this was before that, everything was job folders and files and I'd get a call when I was three hours from the office and someone asked a question. I had no idea what's going on. So being able to pull up all that data and store your photos is huge. So this is a must have app and same thing like if you're using. And again, I'm referencing people. I've spoken with Trey over at spotio. He had me on an interview. I've known Trey for a while. We spoke at when the Storm years ago together. And anyway, spotio is door to door app and there's sales rabbit, there's a bunch of other ones. Whatever it is that you're using either in the field in your CRM, definitely have those on your phone. There's no reason not to whatsoever. All right, next one absolute must. A calendar. I used to use a calendar like an old school one, right? Three ring binder type thing or not three ring. A bound calendar, which is really helpful. I need a calendar reminder or I am useless and I need to see a snapshot or if I'm booking appointments. Way far out. I like to have that, especially since things change. If I'm handwriting something and it changes, I want to be able to, you know, instead of having to like scratch something out. If you're just on my calendar, I can move it. So I use calendar with Reminders, I use again, the app. I know you can't do this on an iPhone. Let me grab my phone from my pocket here. But on mine, like, my second screen isn't. Is my calendar. So I can, like, I have the widget. I can click on a day. I know exactly where I need to be at what time with reminders. So huge, huge, huge help because again, getting busy. Our mind just goes. And it's very, very, very tough. All right, next thing, Notes. You can use whatever you want for this. I know app has. Or iPhones have a note thing. Samsung has. What do they call it? I just click on the thing, the flipping button. It's called Samsung Notes. And I have that for when I'm on the fly. I just get in the habit of checking that. But if someone says anything, the like, hey, reminder to do this. And it's just like totally out of the blue. Like, that's the place where I put everything. Yeah. Josh says, team Android. I love it. I don't know why it's such a divide in the country. It's like Android or iPhone. I had both, by the way. And then Ray says, hey, the roof said, how about contest for us talented, broke fans of yours? So that Ray is a great. I'm going to touch back on that. I love that idea. I love that. See, that would go in my notes section on my phone. But seriously, I have something for you on that front. All right, next thing, I've got some space and I'm going to have to kind of maybe. Yeah, I'll jump over there. By the way, this might be one of the last videos where you see me with my hair this long. It is soon getting cut and donated to provide a wig for a child who's going through cancer. So I'll be. I'll be doing that soon. For some reason, the hair has just been like the hater point for people. But you know what? It never stopped me. And today I've done over 100 or I've driven and directed over 100 million in sales. So anyway, show up with how you are, be proud, be presentable and take care of people. And that's what they judge you on. But anyway, I digress. Hail maps. So there's Hail Watch, Hail recon, Hail trace, any. Any sort of hail mapping software. Which one of the videos coming up soon is going to be all about using a hail mapping software as an app as you scout. Okay. Because scouting has been the number one most requested video. I'm waiting for some hail to hit locally by the way, I just ordered one of those new 2020 all wheel drive transit vans. It came in. I'm hopefully getting it on Friday. So you'll see some videos in that. We'll do some scouting in the field. Once some activity fires up kind of right near me so I can get out quickly. I'm going to show you my scouting practice how I find the right nail neighborhoods. I keep track of where I was, all those details. And a hail map is really, really powerful. So again, hail recon is what I used. They're all honestly guys like all the solutions that are out there, everything is good. It's about finding the right fit for you. So hail map super powerful. You need to know where your little blue dot is, where you are in relationship to that map so you can use it. And someone mentioned, hey, does it make sense for me to use this in my direct mail? And it might. And if it does, you can print that out or show the customer, hey, I know the hail. Which is an objection I've heard about. Not to digress too far. Like, I don't remember. The hail might not have been that big. And it's like, listen, I recognize that you might not have remembered. It might not have been that memorable. But strong winds with small hail can in fact do damage to shingles that are not visible by the naked eye. In fact, I just got off of John's roof. He's two doors down and we're filing a claim. And my guess is it's going to get fully replaced by the insurance company. So anyway, having this would be really great. Yes. So Heath says hail recon, which is interactive hail Maps mobile app, but same company. Yes, and I like that one. All right, next one. This is an obvious one, but I'm gonna put it anyway. I use Google Photos now. Why do I use Google Photos? Google Photos. And again, iPhone has their iPhotos or whatever. I believe you want to be able. I know that your pictures are going into your CRM out of the fly. You can even use with your aerial measurements. Like with hover, you can store your photos with the report. But once that report goes or if you can't find it, I always keep a backup. So my, my practice. Take a picture. Oh, oops, that's off the camera, but you'll see. So photo app. I'm just going to write it here so you can see it. Photo app. The the reason is I want to organize by address or category or last name and it's easy to click highlight and just like do create folder. That way you're not sorting through because you and I both know you're just trimming through. And then to some degree, all roofs start looking the same. Josh says can you let the hair down during a lunchtime live before you cut it? Like the early roof strategist videos. I'll do it today at the end of the video. I'll do it one time. It's long, man. It's really long. And I'm hoping this week it's been really hard to get in for a haircut because everybody through Covid is like, I need a cut. So it's happening. All right, so there's that next one. I'm going to start moving over here to make up some more space. Let me make sure we're still on camera and we are. Good. So this is one that most people probably don't have, which is a GPS trip tracker. Okay, I'm just gonna write tracker. There's a few of them. There's GPS trip tracker, there's geo tracker. The reason to have this. I get this a lot, Adam. How do I find the right neighborhoods? How do I know where I've been? You'll see in my other videos on multi touch marketing. One of the biggest mistakes. So if you're new, pay attention. If you're running a sales team, pay attention. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is called the one and done. The one and done. Through, through and done, right? Like, boom, I hit that neighborhood, I'm onto this neighborhood and that's what I thought hit the most. But ultimately what you want to do is repeat, repeat. Open up that neighborhood with repetition. Leave the door hanger when you're not there right now, what time? So you know what neighborhoods you should hit at what time of the day? This is the retirees, this is third shift blue collar workers. I can hit at 3 o'. Clock. The people that have like desk jobs make it home at 6. So I know what neighborhoods to work. The other thing is, while I'm scouting a storm, I always ran a GPS tracker so I knew what streets I drove. And I put together a scouting report that was distributed to my team. This area, high three tab, high aluminum, smaller hail, great. Not as much competition. Hit it right this neighborhood. I knew the different kind of sales guy on these multimillion dollar homes. I'm going to put a different guy there that does really well with those types of people and newer roofs but needing larger hail. So I would know where I'm at. Because when you look at a hail swath and if there's 20, 30, 40, or even 50,000 homes that are hit, you need to know where you've been. And this gives you a great idea, especially turning into your team to kind of stake your territory, so to speak, as you open up your honeyhole. All right, last one is a simple to do list. Now, in the battle pack, I have a daily schedule that I use. I hand write everything. If you're not that person, you can do the to do app. Okay. That is a. Okay. Like I use. I think I. So I used to use Wunderlist, I think it was Wu, but they got purchased by Microsoft and now it's literally called To Do. It's right on my home screen. And that just allows me, by the way, fun thing. Side note, I use it for groceries. Also, like, my wife and I share a thing, so I'm at the store. She can just add things and I check them off, but it helps me keep track of things. So if there's stuff that comes up during the day, you're on the fly. We don't want to forget. I document it in my to do app, which literally the app that I use called to do, but any list. And yes, todoist is also great, says Garrett. So that's a great way to then come home and then update your daily schedule. Even though I just told you through all of this, like electronics and I don't use a daily planner any longer, I do write a To do list. So now it's charging in the other room. You've seen me hold up that tablet. If you watch Sunday's video on retail, I have this tablet. It literally does nothing except I can write on it. But I write everything every day, so I know what I need to do. And it's helped me a ton to stay organized and figure out what's most important so I can prioritize what needs to get done. Right. Because some things are more time sensitive than others. So quick Recap of the 11 must have apps of everything that I believe will help you save time, stay organized, and then make more sales as a pitch gauge. Okay, one click code. This again will give you the code items by address that are enforced, whether it's manufacturer code or not. Icr. Excuse me, I don't know why I just said iicrc, the irc, whatever building code is enforced. You've got aerial measurements, hover, Eagle view, a construction calculator so you can do feet and inches. Factory Android calculator has that CRM. Whether using Accu links, job numbers job360 spotio sales rabbit. Whatever it is, you need to have all this on your phone calendar with reminders. Guys, this is so important. The worst thing in the world is when you get a call from someone and they say, hey, I thought you were going to be here at this time. I'm here. That's like the stomach drop moment. Okay, then you've got something to keep. Notes on your hail map software, photo organization, a GPS tracker for when you're out in the field, you know where you are, and a to do list. All right, that is it. Now, if you joined late, remember I just released the marketing battle pack. As of today, if you are an existing. Excuse me, when I say just released, I mean the updated version expanded. It's now 70 pages. I spent almost four hours back and forth with my tech team yesterday figuring out how to deliver it because we kept exceeding file size limit. There's a lot in there and anyone that's an existing customer, you're getting it for free. Guys, I take care of people. You know this. It is affordable for new sales reps. It's great for owners who are growing a team and you just want to harness the power of proven material with them. I back everything with 100% money back guarantee. I want my people to be happy. Guys, this is a small world, small community. And the. Yeah, it's all available. You'll see a wall of testimonials and a list of everything that's in there. Again, some of the additions, more direct mail letters, three tab letter, win lemmer wind damage letter, old storm damage letter, discontinued shingle letter, follow up letter, more letters for production, I have a whole section on commercial property management, churches. I've expanded with real estate agents, cold outreach for insurance agents, plus all the stuff that was already in there, plus the slap formula, canvassing formula printout. I am finding, by the way, that paired with my free stuff. By the way, guys, free. You're getting a lot of value. That's my commitment. If you're not in a position to invest any money, that's okay. Get this. The pitch like a pro Roofing sales training video library is updated every week. So when you download you'll see that the websites look different. Now everything's been updated. And that training library is all my videos organized by category. You just click category like pitching, canvassing, overcoming objections and you can watch the videos and that'll be updated on a weekly basis. Some of the links were broken in the old email because I attached it, but now I'm linking to a website so we can update it on an ongoing basis. So appreciate the help as experienced some growing pains here. All right, that is all. Check it out in the description if you're interested. And then again this week only, just as kind of a launch special, I have a little bonus. Going to give you 50 bucks off this week. Only ends Tuesday. All right. Will says, do you use certain bidding software like Xactimate? Absolutely. Now, when I say apps, these are mobile apps for your phone. I don't, I didn't include Xactimate on here. Main reason I was always sitting computer when I use Xactimate. So yes, I do use bidding software like Xactimate on retail bids. I use Xactimate as our, our main price point. Excuse me. Our main focal point for pricing is we scoped everything through Xactimate and to make sure our rates aligned, I do work with companies, by the way, that have created their own estimating software where it's a flat rate per square. Okay. That's variable. Josh says so will hope that answers your question. If it doesn't, let me know. Josh says use your referral letter and landed two routes last week. Heck yeah, Josh. By the way, I keep calling you Josh. I'm sorry, Joshua. I know we've emailed up, called you Josh. Let me know if I shortened it too much. I know some of that. Note the rate is 347. Normally 50 bucks off this week makes it 297. There's 70 pages in there. That's a $4.20 per page. You land one job. I think it pays for itself five times over. I know every commission is different. I've priced this in a way that literally is no brainer. You land one deal, you make your money back and you made more money. Very, very low risk. So Will says it did. Thank you. So, guys, thanks for being here. I don't want to sit here and make you feel like you're being pitched. What I want to do is give you actionable items with every video that you can start to implement to help you make more money in the field. Okay? And the only fee for this channel is to share it with your team. That's all I ask. If you like what you see and it can help other people pass the good word along. It helps out. You now have 11 apps. Go through, pause the screen, take a screenshot. You now see exactly what you need to do. Get this stuff set up on your phone. You're going to watch. Honestly, guys, you talk. If this saves you 10 minutes a day in a week, that's an hour. That means that could be one sale out. Knocking doors. It all adds up. So Josh is preferred. Josh, I had a feeling and I remembered it through email. I've been responding to so many emails. So thank you. I'm glad, glad we got that out of the way. Guys and gals, thank you for being here joining me live for lunchtime. Live, more good stuff coming soon. If it hails in your area, get after it. If it doesn't work those old storms. And again in that pack now is an old storm damage letter which I'm hearing a lot of people doing because it's not yet hailing everywhere but some places have been destroyed so far. That is all. I'm so pumped for what's to come. Retail versions coming next. Give me a few weeks. I just need to button up some tech things. It always takes longer than you expect to get all this stuff delivered. And I have a couple of trainings coming that are going to be really, really cool. I think to help Ray, when you set a contest for talented, broke fans of yours, Ray, I'm going to give a teaser to what's coming. I wasn't planning on spilling the beans of this. I'm working on next a step by step system to help new people identify their income goal and give a turnkey sales process every step of the way to help you make it happen. So that is coming, Ray. In the meanwhile, watch the playlist, the 30 day sales challenge. Okay, check that out. That'll help you kind of start ramping up and having some wins and getting some, getting some income brought in because I've been there, Ray. I had two grand in my name. I was knocking doors. Took me six days, I think, I think it was six weeks till my first sale. You know, I had no experience, no training and then once that money came in, it was like I was addicted to the hunt. I loved it and yeah, thank you. Thank you Ray for being here. And man, that was UKnom Unknown Mesmer Joe Fist Pump. Back at you, man. I know I butchered the name. That was a tough one on the fly. If you liked the video, give it a thumbs up. This lets me know that these videos are helpful. And if you're not subscribed to the channel already, I invite you to subscribe. You'll get notifications of when I go live trying to queue these up. You can count on them. Tuesdays and Thursdays at this time, 12:30 Central, 1:30 Eastern. I know I just maxed up the time. And then for us folks out west, that'd be 11:30 in mountain time. I know there's not a lot of folks on the far, far west coast. And yeah, more stuff on retail coming soon as well. And remember, this channel is dedicated to you answering your requests. You ask, I answer. If there's videos that you want to see me do, email me adamstrategist. So no the just adamstrategist.com or for free go to the roofstrategist.com there's a link in the description. You can get this for free. No catch. It'll be updated weekly. And I personally respond to every single person that grabs this. You can respond to that with anything that you want to see on the channel. Drop a comment I I am here to help you and your sales team smash their income goal and to bring a path and an avenue to what I viewed as kind of an underrepresented segment of our industry. And that's brand new salespeople. That's companies that are growing and wanting to scale up a team. They're starting to recruit and hire and wondering how to train people. And by the way, I'm getting flooded with testimonials that this training, which is all my videos and organized by category, has literally replaced paid training platforms that some companies have been using. And it's free. So if you have a team, you're growing it. Check it out. Thanks for being here guys. I will see you on Thursday. And in the meanwhile, go out there, get it. Look forward to talking soon. See you guys.
