Hey, guys, Adam here, the roof strategist. And we are rolling into video two of the 30 day sales challenge. This is where the rubber meets the road. We are going to map out our plan and our target goal of what we need to accomplish. Because let's face it, we all fell into the industry on these lofty goals, these lofty dreams. We've been sold by the company we worked for and everybody else. You can make six figures in door to door sales, but here's the problem. No one shows you or tells you how to do it. And if you're doing this, which by the way, is the biggest mistake that most everyone makes, which is I' work harder and make more money, bullshit, it's not going to work. You're going to run yourself in circles. You're going to run yourself ragged and you're going to put on more miles on your truck than you oughta, which is time and money and wear and tear in your vehicle. What you need is a sound, solid plan. A plan to follow so when you wake up in the morning, you know what you need to do. You can exactly track yes, I'm on target for hitting those sales or no, I am not. It's black or white. Because here's what will happen if you don't do this. At the end of the year, you're going to sit down and say, holy shit, I only earned 40 grand, but I wanted to earn a thousand. Excuse me, $100,000. Well, what went wrong? I worked hard. We don't want that. We need measurables to track. We need objectives to hit. We need little wins every single day that make you feel excited to get up. Because the reality is the rainy day, which by the way, is not today. The rainy days that come when you've lost motivation, you've got your teeth kicked in. You don't want to get up and be like, I'll do it later. Because then that's a little setback and a little setback and a little setback. And guess what? There's wins that happen that don't involve inking a deal. What if one day you ink no deals, but you set three appointments, Huge win, You have an opportunity to close them. How do you work those? So here's what we're going to do. I want you to reference the commitment you made to yourself in video one. And if you didn't watch it, watch it. Now. I have sold your number of roofs by that date. Okay? Now we need to reverse engineer a plan for you. If you sell those number of roofs, what does that mean for your commission? Just think of your average commission. And if you haven't earned a commission yet, ask your boss, ask the owner of the company what you can expect from an average Commission. So your 25 roofs might mean $20,000, maybe it's $30,000. And I know that they might not all be paid out right away, depending on your commission plan, but we need to start with that number. To sell 30 roofs, what do you need to do? You need to generate appointments, you need to knock doors, you need to get referrals, and you need to work your installs, and you need to work the area immediately after you get that job approved by an insurance adjuster. Okay, so here's what you're going to do. I have X number of roofs by date. We have the framework. In order to do that, I need to knock on. Make a commitment to yourself to knock doors. Now, I had a gentleman who I will not name who's reached out to me, and he says, adam, I've been using your roofing sales accelerator marketing pack, and it didn't work. So I said, hey, what are you doing? He says, oh, well, I just left the letter on the door. My, dude, you can't just waste the opportunity and just show up like a coward and knock on a door or, excuse me, hang something and not knock on a door. You got to bring your cojones, guys. You got to show up, make the most of it. You got to have multiple touches. Show up at the door, knock, no one's home, leave that door hanger, write down the address, send the direct mail, follow the system, and it will work. But you cannot cut yourself short. Now, I know that was a little bit harsh. I'm not calling anyone here a coward. I'm saying that action is cowardice because you're there. You drove across town with your time, your money, and your gas. And for you just to walk up and leave something and walk away. Guys, you could hire your own canvasser to do that. What you have inside is talent to communicate with people. So follow the system and do what you need to do. All right? You've got your goal. You're going to write down on here how many doors you're going to knock a day. No question, no ifs and buts. I don't care if you got your teeth kicked in for 60, by the way, 60 is a great number to hit, okay? You can usually do that in about two hours out of those 60 doors. Excuse me. If you don't have an appointment, you're doing something wrong. Okay. Or you're going through that neighborhood at the wrong time. You need to make note that no one was home. Hit that neighborhood again later. All right, so we have our door knocking. We have. I will generate X number of referrals from each of my people. Now, not every single person is going to give you a referral, but on average, you can probably say one referral per person because some people might give you two, some people might give you none. Maybe it's a half a referral per person. So every two people, you get a referral. That's okay. But you're going to write that down and you're going to ask every single person, no matter what, without fail. I have an entire video on that I don't want to use this time. You can just search this channel for referral video. See my entire system. My roofing sales accelerator marketing pack has my incentive process, which, by the way, works better than anything and everything I have ever seen as a consultant in this industry. It's gold. Use it to a T. It will work, I guarantee you. So you can check that out if you're interested. It's in the roofing sales accelerator marketing pack link in the description. All right, so now you have your total sales. You know how many doors you're going to knock. You've made a commitment to yourself. I will ask every single customer for a referral three times. They may not have a number right away for you, but they will later. You'll also want to check out my video on using body language on how you ask for that referral by blading your stance and saying, hey, who do you know that I might be able to help? And then you look down. We call that the assumptive sale. Right? And if they let that silence loom, if they don't have the name right now, that's okay. They might later say, oh, well, I apologize. No big deal. You don't know anyone now. But I am going to ask you again because I've built my business on word of mouth, so appreciate your business. Ask you again later in case anything changes. Make it playful. Set the expectation that you're going to ask for the referral. All right? You got the doors to knock, you got the referrals you're going to ask for. You've made a commitment to ask every person. I have run sales trainings for hundreds of salespeople across the country, and I always will open a meeting with. How many referrals did you ask for this week? You will Be amazed. Most people say zero to one. That is it. Three times per customer. Guys, just by setting this goal, having a referral program and asking every single time, I guarantee you will explode your sales. I don't care if you use my roofing sales accelerator marketing pack, by the way, you should absolutely use the referral system inside it. But just by doing those two things and having a clear vision and a clear plan is going to transform everything. Okay, so ask every person for referrals three times. Knock 60 doors a day. Now we have two more pieces that we're going to layer on every single day. For every person that you knock on the door and they are not home, you're going to write down the address, okay? So you're going to look and you're going to write down the address and the street number, okay? When you get home, you're going to send a letter in the mail that's printed out, okay? You're going to hand address, hand stamp that envelope and you're going to slip a letter with your business card in it and you're going to write dear homeowner or dear neighbor or you'll use the tactic I showed you on how to use, which is another video, the county assessor's page to pull the addresses from so you can find the homeowner's name. So you could say like dear Peggy and Sally sue on the envelope. And you're going to pop that in the mail every single day. Do this at night while you're having a beer, kicking back, watching tv, hanging with the family. It's mindless because you already have the letter written. The idea with that letter is to say, hey, I was at your door and I'm here to help. I have a letter that's pre written. It's in the roofing sales accelerator marketing pack. If you want to fast track this thing, grab it now, you'll download it, you can start using it today. If you don't, you can write your own, but that's up to you. So when you knock that door and no one's home, they're going to get a letter in the mail and you're going to end up coming back. But by spending your making that commitment to knock those 60 doors, ask everyone for a referral three times. Which by the way, the best times for those referrals are when you sign them up, when you get the roof approved and after production, when you sign them up, when you get the roof approved and after production, okay? If you jump in when they've already Been approved. Just ask on those other visits from the house. Maybe it's when you pick colors, maybe it's when you pick up the final paint, maybe it's the day of production. They loved how clean the crew was. Alright, those are your opportunities. But by knocking those doors, leaving the letter at the door, if no one's home, which do not use a door hanger because you're going to be throwing it on top of 12 other design door hangers, use one of the letters that I've put together or write your own so it stands out. It's on a piece of paper, business card, staple to it. It will at least stand out and grab attention. Doesn't matter if they call you right away because you're going to come back to the door and it's going to soften them up. They're going to get to know you. So now you've got 60 door knocks, you're leaving letters. Excuse me, you're leaving a door hanger that's different than the traditional one. And every single day of those 60 people who is not home, they're getting a letter in the mail. Okay? That is your plan for right now. All you're focusing on is driving sales. All right? So knock doors, leave the letter, ask for referrals and send the letter in the mail. Okay? I call it my under the radar sales letter. I have another video on that that you can watch. The last thing that you want to do is any neighborhood that you're working. If you see a for sale or a for rent sign, take a picture on your phone. And when you're home in the evening or driving around, you're going to call them up and do your pitch over the phone. I sold my first commercial job like this. Wearing my shorts, leaving the gym, it's gold. But by following this simple plan, you know how many sales you need. You're going to knock 60 doors, you're going to leave a door hanger that's not traditional. And you're going to send a letter and you're going to make calls. This is your day priority. Every other action needs to go in the morning, during off peak hours, or in the evening on off peak hours. Okay? 8 o' clock or later and in the morning when no one's home and work your neighborhood. Smart guys, you got this thing. Drop some comments below on this system. I want to hear how things are going for you. I want to hear your comments and stay tuned for the next video of the 30 day sales challenge.
