This is a YouTube video titled "Temp check first" created in January 2025. The content is a monologue or instructional talk focused on sales techniques, specifically advising on how to conduct a "temp check" during sales calls before pitching or discussing price. There is only one speaker providing sales advice, and no conversation or multiple speakers are present.
Never pitch on a sales call without doing this one thing first. And if you want to steal my entire sales flow, go comment below or message me the word sales on a call. Once you've told the prospect how amazing you are and how bespoke your service is, do not just move into telling them the price. You need to run them through what we call the temp check first. So how does that sound? Any questions? Sounds pretty good. And no, I don't think I got any questions right now. Awesome. Give me a quick scale of 1 to 10. One being your finger is hovering over the leave meeting button. 10 is all in. Let's get going. Unless they're a strong 8, 9, 10. Do not move on to the pitch. Do not discuss price. Instead, loop back and figure out why there are 5, 6, or 7. Resolve the issue and then ask if they're now more confident. When you do this, it means that you never end up pitching people that aren't ready to be pitched. You'll be able to work with them on the collaborative close instead of trying to wrestle them over the line. And finally, if you want that sales flow training that I mentioned earlier, just message me the word sales.
