MEET OUR LEADER | Adeline Sim from HRnetGroup

Hi, I'm Adlyn, the Chief Corporate Officer for HRNet Group. I started out photocopying identification cards when the company was started in 1992 and was hiring carpenters, receptionists, and accountants for our clients even before I got to university. I grew up at HRNet. In between, I went to law school and practiced law at Drew Napier. Where I did disputes and then corporate finance. In 2009, I came back to the group as legal counsel and started having fun navigating the very different jurisdictions we operate in. In 2017, I finally found out what it was like being on the other side, bringing a company public, when together with our chairman and CFO, I did over 200 roadshow meetings across London, Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong, KL, and Singapore, and lived through the process of listing Hatred.net Group on the main board of the SGX ST. I'm really lucky to have a job I love where every day brings different puzzles to solve and people to meet. I get to travel to Brazil and Belfast in search of acquisition and investment opportunities, Toronto and Tokyo to meet stakeholders, and Monaco and the Maldives to plan experiences for our teams. Together with our 1,200 consultants across 15 cities, I work on enhancing our product offerings and stakeholder experiences as human capital experts. How we can acquire the best talents for our clients in a tight labor market, how to create great relationships with our staffing clients and contractors through features like Pay on Demand, Annual Leave by the Hour, pre-approved overtime, white-labeled payslips.
