Aitor Epas Guitar shows how to get a heavy sound on electric guitar using just two strings. Use frets 2, 5, and 7 on the fifth string while palm muting the sixth string with downstrokes. Open the frets 5 and 7, keep the rest closed, and you get that aggressive tone.
Bueno, fíjate, podemos sonar súper potente con la guitarra eléctrica y distorsión simplemente con 2 cuerdas. Y para ello vamos a aprovechar las notas que tenemos en el traste 2, en el 5 y en el 7 de la quinta cuerda. Y luego en la sexta cuerda le vamos a pegar todo el rato para abajo. Importante aquí trabajar el palm mute. Fíjate cómo sonaría. ¿Has visto? Cuando paso al traste 5 abro y luego en el 7 también abro, pero el resto cañero, potente, que suene a distorsiones.
