AI will boost productivity by 10-20% over the next five to ten years, not replace workers. The speaker predicts that within his son's lifetime, everyday objects will have intelligence comparable to a 30-40-year-old human, reshaping how we live.

AI is that for the next 5 to 10 years. I don't think AI replaces people. I actually think there's a lot of hoopla about that. I don't believe it. I think AI augments talent. So what I'm fascinated by is how these tools can help the everyday person and the expert and everyone in between become 10% better, 15% better, 20% better in delivering value. The other thing you're going to see is it's going to increase the speed of commerce. I think people will buy and transact in a totally different environment over the next 3 to 5 years. We can talk about and joke about sentient AI. It's going to happen. We can talk about robotics and how you combine the two. We talked about this before we hit record, but I've got a 5-and-a-half-year-old. I fully believe that by the time he's— I'm 39, my age— if he'd like to have a family, he'll have a home, but he will likely have objects in his world that he interacts with that are at or above the intelligence level of a, call it, 30 or 40-year-old human being, and that are augmenting the way that he lives his life.
