LLMs are improving 40% monthly, enabling tools like Lovable and Base44 to handle coding tasks that once required full engineering teams. This could shrink teams from eight engineers to two, empowering experienced PMs but eliminating entry-level APM roles for newcomers breaking into the field.

Biggest thing I'm thinking of right now is like the coming AI coding wave and what that means for product development. I heard a good joke, which I think of every day. It's like, I don't know if like the LLM-based coding will make product managers more powerful than ever or completely obsolete. And it, like, it, my opinion, like changes a little bit from day to day. I'm currently in the more powerful than ever thought. Yeah. But like the, the LLMs get 40% better every month. I know. It's insane. You're talking about like Cloud Code and, and some of those tools? Yep. The, the individual coding LLMs as well as like the, I don't know, almost like app builder tools, like Lovable. or Base44. So much of your life as a younger product manager is just coordination of like teams, trackers, meetings. And if you go from an engineering team of 8 to an engineering team of 2, one, it's like, it's awesome if you already know what you're doing, but it means it's harder for people to get started in product management because there's just less of those APM jobs. Right. Yeah.
