Alexa White plans her day: fixing the driveway for HOA approval, spray-painting Home Depot planters black for cheap flower displays, and surprising her dad with a stained picnic table. She's lost 25-26 pounds, pays $100 a month for a storage unit full of old clothes, and needs to read half a chapter for two classes where she has perfect grades.

My thoughts are feeling really loud today. I have 3 different calendars, but only one can stay. No, but like seriously, I have different calendars for like different things, right? One I choose is a just regular notebook. So I figure it's early, let's gather our thoughts, let's put them on paper. I think it's really easy for the mind to just go all crazy. I'm just gonna write everything down. And I think— okay, so the HOA was not super happy that there's an extension on our driveway now, um, so we have to spruce it up. We have to make it look presentable. We have to make it look inviting, you know what I mean? That has kind of taken precedence over everything. I went yesterday. I went to Goodwill, I went to Texas Thrift, I went to Dollar Tree. I went to so many different places yesterday to try to thrift flower pots, and no one has anything. I even looked on Facebook Marketplace, nothing. I ended up having to get them at Home Depot. I got the very basic, normal, cheapest flower pots. And then I spray painted them black to make them look all nice and bougie, right? Bougie on a budget. Recovering overspender. Got a bunch of like plants and flowers and stuff like that to put inside of them so that— I already got it, it has to get done today. Let's do plants, everything, and set it all up. My dad ended up finding a picnic table on Facebook Marketplace. It was a little rough I actually went ahead and I already stained it. He doesn't know that yet, so if he watches this, which I doubt he will, then y'all know. Just, it's gonna be a surprise for him. Put out the picnic table. All right, so, uh, my knee looks bruised up. That strength training has me all— check out this bruise over here though. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? I did legs like a couple days ago and that's from that. It's crazy. Okay, so back on track. I am caught up on my homework, but we do need to maybe read like half chapter. So read half chapter for both classes. I have a 100.78 in environmental science and I have 100 in humanities. Last night, whenever I spent all that money to get the plants and the pots, it cost me a lot of money. So I would like to say that I I'm going to DoorDash today. So maybe DoorDash, let's say for 1 hour. Even if I make $20 in that hour, I still feel like it's worth it to me. It's funny how I have like all these thoughts and then I go to write them down and it seems so simplified. Alexa White was refinishing the pantry like 7 months ago, got like everything done except for like half of the painting, and, and it really does kind of look ridiculous. I really do need to do it. For me to do it, I have to clean off all of the shelves, and that is so much food and so much just different stuff on the shelves. And that's why I've kind of just not done it, but really it does need to get done, but not today. Pick a different color. It will do for like things that like come up in my mind that I will get done, but just not today. Let's focus on one project today, which is going to be the planters and doing all of that. Finished painting the pantry. Future task. Another task that does need to be done today, at least one load of laundry. So it's been about 30 minutes, I finished my coffee, but while I was making Clover's breakfast, a couple of things popped up in my head. Just thinking about whenever I'm going to be doing that load of laundry, I have a load that's in the dryer. So I fold my laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer, so that way it's not just going to sit in a basket. I can just basically fold it right there, take it upstairs, put everything away. I was thinking about putting the clothes away, which then led me to thinking I have too many clothes, I need to go through those. I've been constantly like thinking about like, I need to go through my closet. I lost like 25, 26 pounds, so not even sure if a lot of my clothes fit me still, which then led me thinking I should have a garage sale, which then let me think I have a storage unit that I pay $100 for. That is $100 that I could be saving. In that storage unit, I have so much stuff. To have an eBay store, and which I don't have anymore, but that means that I have clothes in that storage unit that do not fit me that Honestly, I have so many different clothes that I was selling on eBay. Like I said, I no longer do that. Basically just sits in a storage unit. I need to go through that and I either need to post some of those on Marketplace, sell them in bulk. So I think I'm at a good point where I can stop the list. I have all of the things that I'm going to be doing today: plant everything, set it all up, put out the picnic table, read half a chapter for both classes, Maybe DoorDash for an hour later today. At least one load of laundry, which I'm about to do, and then declutter one area. Also, let's go ahead and start that load of laundry.
