So I wanted to impress my boss. So I said yes to everything. And that is when I realized that ready is not a feeling. It's a decision. So when I first started working at mindvalley, I was a total perfectionist. I was terrified of trying new things. I was terrified of looking stupid. Because what if I got it wrong? What if I failed? What if all of my amazing colleagues looked at me and said, she doesn't know what she's doing. But I really, really wanted to grow within the company. And that is when I realized that ready is not a feeling, It's a decision. So I started to speak up more. I started to notice gaps and where I could fill them in. I started to say yes to challenges and new projects, even though it terrified me. And even though I was the youngest person in the company at the time. But I started learning the ropes. I started getting better and better. And by the end of my three and a half years at that company, I left as the creative director. So my challenge to you is this. Instead of asking yourself, why me? Ask yourself, why not me? You will never feel ready. So just go for it. You got this. I am rooting for you. And follow me. To be paid to write.
