This is what I think is the number one secret to building an audience. I led with a video first approach to marketing. Right now in 2023, you absolutely need to be creating video content. And I'm the first one to tell you that. I look back at some of my earlier videos and feel so awkward. I figured it out on YouTube and then I started creating short form video content, and then I was awkward all over again. I mean, you don't have to go back very far to see some of my awkward short form videos. But here's what I did. So I would create a YouTube script. I would record the YouTube video. I would then take that script, I would publish it on my blog. I would then take that and I would publish it on LinkedIn. And then I would take that and use it as the base of an email that I would send out once a week. And then I would repurpose that one piece of content across 48 more touch points. I started to think, okay, with the minimal amount of time that I have to actually be creating content, how can I create one piece of content that can be used over and over and over again? And honestly, rule number one is just be consistent.
