Entrepreneurship is the ultimate hero's journey. It's filled with intense ups and downs. You face obstacles, you pull off miracles, and you stretch yourself constantly. Mostly, you devote years and years of your life to this journey, knowing that the odds are against you. Hi, my name is Alyssa Cohn. I'm an executive coach and I've had the privilege of being part of the journeys of hundreds of founders in my coaching work with them. I'm also the author of From Startup to Grownup, which is about the personal growth founders have to do as they develop into leaders. When I was writing my book, I interviewed a handful of entrepreneurs and I was totally inspired by what they had to say about what they went through, how they grew, what they learned. They shared their insights and specific tactics that are helpful to all founders and actually to everyone who aspires to lead in any way. And now I want to share more of these with you. Being a founder is emotional, complicated, and frustrating. It's also rich, exhilarating, and the most valuable experience you'll ever have. In this podcast, I'll share the stories of amazing entrepreneurs who grew from founders of little startups into the leaders of large companies. Thank you so much for tuning in. I can't wait to go on this journey with you. Sam.
