Thrive offers three color-coded intradermal needles: brass (6mm) for thick tissue, gold (3mm) for resistant skin like the forehead, and silver (4mm) for minimal resistance. The colors speed up identification during procedures and help practitioners match needle size to facial area for better patient comfort.

Today I'm going to introduce my new range of Thrive® intradermal needles. I developed these to make my life easier, not only in my clinical practice so I'm safer with my patients, but also to enable me to teach more safely in my student clinic. I'm now going to introduce you to the different needles in the range. So the needles are in 3 different colours. Colours so that they're easy for me to identify before, during the treatment. They are brass for the 6mm, gold for the 3mm, and the Gentle, which are silver. I'm going to talk about each needle now one by one. The 6mm needle is longer so that I can embed it into thicker tissue, and it's quite stimulating even though it's 0.18 gauge. The 3mm, also 0.18 gauge, much shorter, very suitable for very shallow superficial tissues such as the forehead, and also quite good to insert in resistant skin. The Gentle range, very fine, 0.12 gauge, 4mm enables me full flexibility to use when wherever I want. Minimum skin resistance and again quite unique. Each needle has a different colored handle and this enables me to identify them more easily either from the packaging or from the trays when I'm inserting or once they're embedded in the tissue so I can write up my notes. Having different lengths of needle gives me full flexibility to pick different parts of the face which suits the lengths most, and by having different gauges, that enables me to work more comfortably for my patient who might have varying areas of skin resistance. I'm going to show you the different ways I can insert and withdraw the needles when I'm working with my patients.
