Amber McCue talks about detaching from outcomes and enjoying the entrepreneurial journey. She covers mindset shifts that help you stop obsessing over results and find satisfaction in the work itself.

One week ago I was sitting here quite cold and today it is nice and and balmy out there and it is Friday and we are hanging out here together and I am so pumped for what we have in store today. Today is a mix of catch up. So we're going to just look at all that we accomplished this week. In addition, I have a new exercise and activity to walk you through as we think about being on this journey that we're on together as entrepreneurs and modern CEOs and really thinking about the Jo that we want to experience on the journey, not just when we arrive at our destination. And then I'm hoping I am watching actually I'm on DND so I got to figure out how I'm going to watch to see who our bingo winner is. More on that in just a second. What a week. Jack, so good to see you. Jean Marie, Tanya, M. Shaw and everyone who is watching and it is just so good to be here with you. We are pumped and we are going to dive right in because your time is precious and we have some good stuff planned today. So here we go. Little bit of a catch up. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I want to do this. We don't have anything too detailed on these slides yet. Welcome. Hello again. It is great to be here again with you. It is truly a joy. Hey Melissa, thank you. Spending what this incredible week with you. We have gone through the one step to take to 3x or more your growth, the no mess scale up plan, the mistakes modern entrepreneurs make, the money maker magic elements that we need to sort of, well we're going to get that consistent cash flow and then our catch up day detaching from the outcome and enjoying this journey that we are on with entrepreneurship Next week in addition, we're going to be hanging out just a little bit more. We've got some bonus drawings, we've got some bonus Q&As that we will be doing. So if you are checking this out and thinking oh my gosh, I missed it you did not miss it. You can catch all of the replays over@amber McHugh.com forward/pps links. And you can also. Well, hopefully, if you're checking this out live, join us live for anything and everything right now as you're watching live. And. And today is the day to call bingo, because today is the first day that you could have possibly filled up that whole card. So now that we are here in Workshop 5, which is the final bingo piece that we were missing today, I want to invite you to complete your bingo card and enter it over@amber McHugh.com forward/pps bingo. Now, if you are watching the replay of this and you're like, wait, I'm not going to be first to enter my card, that is totally okay. Because the first person to enter their bingo card today is going to get all of this. Yes, it is true. The first person to call bingo today, now that we have arrived at Workshop 5, is going to get everything on this screen. Malia's him for the winner. That's awesome. That's how I'll see the winner right there in the comments. Thank you, Malia. And keep entering. If you are watching this replay, if you are not in a place where you can submit this right now, M. Shaw, you're going to see when you go over to submit that bingo card, what it'll guide you right through it over at pps, we don't need the whole workbook. Definitely not the whole workbook. Don't even worry about that. The key element is just this card right here. That is the back of the companion workbook for our plan. Profit scale is. And Malia's got a winner. Before she types in that winner, I also want to let you know to keep entering because we're going to do drawings all of next week and they're at least 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 additional prizes that we're going to give out next week. And I'm watching for it in the chat now that we know enter now Workshop 5, but also keep entering if you're watching the replay. If you're checking this out throughout the workshop today because we have more prizes to give out all next week. Watching for it in the chat. Watching for it in the chat. Malia is going to share who our first grand prize winner is momentarily. At least she said she knew who it was. That might have been a guess. That might have been a guess. I'm gonna keep watching for it. And in the meantime. Oh, oh, oh, Tanya. Tanya wins the grand prize Tanya, you are taking home the water bottle, you're taking home the hat, you're taking home the workbook. I think you won this last week. Actually, we can get that out to someone else of your choosing. We are going to do a strategy session, deep dive intensive and we're going to have some other right on time swag for you, Tanya. Congratulations. How stinking exciting. I love it. I love when we get to share some swag, have some fun with some prizes, but keep it coming because more prizes coming all next week as well. Now we're going to dive in to our catch up session as well as walking down this entrepreneurial path to detach from those outcomes and live our entrepreneurial journeys right on time. We started this week talking about how building a business is absolutely possible. But yeah, there is some increased competition right now. There are many, many, many people starting businesses and walking this entrepreneurial path with us. And I think this is such an exciting thing. Change absolutely keeps coming as we are on this journey together. I shared with you in workshop one that we even are trying out and testing new things this week and it's time for a new chapter. This journey that we are on together, we are walking this path, but let's face it, we are motivated. You are highly motivated, you are an achiever by the fact that you are here right now listening to this, watching this, the fact that you are considering or you have started a business, some of you have started a business that is successful and now you are starting business number two. And every step of the way, we are evolving and we're growing and we're learning. And the book, even if we've started one successful business, already, started two successful businesses, maybe, heck, you are ready for the third thing. This is not the end of the story. We're just continually opening up new chapters because we're motivated. You are motivated, you are ambitious. And hey, I want this to be a little bit easier. I want that scale and that growth that everyone keeps talking about and I want to make good money and I want to increase my cash flow and I want to feel like it's consistent. But hey, is it too much to ask to not have to work 247 to get it? No, it is not too much to ask. You will be known for something and you will do all of this while experiencing the time in financial freedom that you were looking for when you started down this path. And maybe it's something else altogether. Maybe you want to train up your team, maybe you're building to sell, whatever that is. It sounds pretty stinking dreamy. And as Harper shared with us, this is not a dream. This is possible for you just like it is not a dream. And you may very well be be the winner of our our bingo that we are still playing. And if you've got your bingo card to submit, you can go to amber mchugh.com forward/pps bingo. And if you're ever looking for all of the links as you go through the replay and pull out workbooks and you want to link to anything within the event, you can go to amber mchugh.com PPS links maybe you see what everyone else is doing. You're like, why is it working for them? But it's not working for me. Frankly, this is a little bit exhausting. The truth is that it can be very exhausting because much of what's taught online about how to build, run, scale and grow a successful business isn't really about running a business. At best, we see a lot of marketing advice online. I'm not making a judgment on any of that marketing advice. There's a lot of really good stuff out there. I have a lot of friends who are incredible marketers, a lot of colleagues, a lot of clients, a lot of things in my ads that are showing me that there are a lot of really great marketers out there. But there's more to running a business. And if we only focus on the marketing tactics and not looking at what it actually takes to run a business, that financial freedom to live my life on my terms is going to be pretty hard to achieve. So we need to focus on more than just the marketing. Are we going to stop focusing on the marketing? No, we're not quitting on marketing, but we're going to start to look at our business from that elevated perspective as a modern CEO. If you want to build that business that brings you freedom, sustainability, without that hustle and constant sense of urgency and the pressure in your chest, we've got to look at how to run our businesses. And not focusing on how we run our businesses absolutely has us going in circles. We talked about this week the difference between the messy marketer business owner and the modern CEO business owner. I probably don't have to tell you at this point which business grew faster with more ease, right? Supports a team, a significant team. And the truth is that we get to choose how we operate. We get to choose how we show up. We get to choose how we operate. Old school business owner. You've seen it. You've seen it over and over again. Or the Modern CEO, the new way of doing businesses that is really about being in alignment. It's really about finding that joy. And it's really a lot of focus. We've got to practice and practice and practice and bringing it back to focus, bringing it continually back to what is most important for the goals that we have, what is most important for where we want to be going. And sometimes, yeah, there's some results we want to get fast. And we build that into our plans. We adapt our plans, we adapt our focus for that, but we keep on driving in the same car down the road. That's going to get us to our destination. And if you are ready to also go from messy marketer, this has been feeling messy. I've been running in circles to getting some focus and stepping into that modern CEO role. You are in the right place. I had to untangle this for myself. I started my business thinking, oh, actually, I started my business thinking, oh, man, I'm gonna be done by 3pm every day. I'm gonna be sitting out on the back deck relaxing, enjoying a cocktail. No, that was not it. Over the years, I learned that certain cocktails give me migraines. So there were no cocktails in my journey and was a big shift. But. But also, there was a moment when it really looked like I was creating another J O B for myself, which I've heard people describe the acronym as just over broke. The J O, B just over broke. Exhausted, wheel spinning and not spending the time I wanted to spend with my family. And, you know, I'm not standing today. And it's the end of a really incredible week together where progress has been made and we have felt that tension in our shoulders as we realize I have to make some changes in how I am showing up in my business. And I'm feeling it today. I am feeling it because there is wheel spinning that pops up right, and we've got to bring it back and we've got to bring it back to the focus continually. And I'm sitting here now with you reflecting, which I invite you to do, too. What do I want to shift? I heard it, but now what am I going to do about it? In fact, a client said that to me this week. She said, I've been in this modern CEO space for six months and she's decided to continue with us for another six months. And I've been hearing it and I have been inspired and I have been motivated, but I have not been taking action to make a change. And it's so important that we also make that shift and make that decision to do something different, to create something different. And oftentimes we've got to shift our being because running a business doesn't give us the freedom, the joy, or the consistent income. Stepping into the modern CEO role, will you get to define what this looks like? You get to define what this looks like for you to be in that modern CEO role. And for me, that meant consistent steady growth until. Until I realized we were ready for more. We continued down this steady growth path, and it wasn't bad. We were not at a bad place with that steady growth path. But we realized, wait a second. We've laid some pretty strong foundation. I know there are some of you listening to this and in our community right now who have laid a strong foundation. And now you are ready to skyrocket. I call that when we are like, steady, steady, steady, steady. Right? We're doing it. We're doing it. We're doing it. We're doing it. We're rocking. We're in action, but we're not getting to the place we really know we want to be going. That's the rocking chair. The rocking chair is in motion, but it's not really going anywhere. Sure, it shimmies steadily forward sometimes or shimmies steadily back sometimes. Wait, why am I hitting the wall? Oh, the rocking chair moved. But, man, if you really want to make big strides, if you really want to make big shift, we've got to get on up out of that rocking chair. Is anyone out there who's watching or listening right now thinking, man, I got to get up on out of the rocking chair. I've been rocking and we've been moving, but I am not getting to my destination any faster than I want to be. And I know I could be doing things that are having more impact. Is that you? Have you found yourself in the rocking chair right now or in the past? Let's go. And that's what we saw happen. You know what? It was a global pandemic that made us pause and say, hey, what are we doing? Okay, let's go. Let's go. Maybe you're like our client who said, this is awesome. I'm getting what I need. I know I need to be taking action on this, but I'm not. It takes an incredibly powerful reflection and realization to say, I am now ready. I'm going to make that step. I'm going to get up on out of the rocking chair. Sometimes MSHA is recognizing I sit in the rocking chair, then I get out, and I wind back up in him. Like, okay, I do a little circle. I go right back to my rocking chair. No, no, no. We got to keep going forward to keep driving down our destination if we want to see the results that we know are possible for us. Like Harper said, it is not a dream, but we have to shift how we're operating so we don't get up on out of that rocking chair and get right back on it. You know, there are a couple of times in the last three months that I have gotten up and out of the rocking chair and a couple of tactics and strategies. I'm like, I'm not ready yet. Back in it. It'll be right, right on time. And this is why you have to commit, you have to decide, you have to evaluate what is the right move for you right now. And of course we help you make those evaluations. Inside of the Modern CEO I announced I don't have more on the Modern CEO until later in our catch up today. But I did announce yesterday that the Modern CEO is open for enrollment. And because we are talking this through and we're going deeper and we're peeling back layers, if you are thinking that way, I'm ready to get up on out of the rocking chair and I'm going to need some help to make sure I don't get back in it. I want to invite you to check out amber mchugh.com forward/modern CEO and if you have checked it out and if you've heard about the Modern CEO before, if you are checking it out now and you're like, I have a couple of questions, please book a call@amber mchugh.com forward/modern CEO chat and my client, my friend, my colleague Janelle, we were actually, she was helping me on a project related to the Modern CEO which was called freshly implemented at the time. And she said, I know I'm, I'm helping you with this project, but I think I need to join. I'm like, come on in. She's like, are you sure that's okay? It won't be awkward? I'm like, no, it won't be awkward. I can compartmentalize, no problem. And she has been in a part of our community for I think we're at six years now. And Janelle has opened up her calendar to answer any questions you have. She is currently a part of our community. She is in our Accelerate community inside the Modern CEO. She's been in grow, she's been in scale and she will answer all questions. You have to confirm it's A win win because she's going to be hanging out with you in there too. And she wants to make sure it's win win. She doesn't want you getting in there and be like, oh my gosh, no, no. She is going for win wins. And we all are. That's why inside the modern CEO we have a win win guarantee. You can check all that out@amber McHugh.com forward/modern CEO Trudy. I love to hear it. Janelle rocks. I agree. And on Monday we talked about the number one step we got to take before can get on out of that rocking chair. We have to make the decision to get on up, make the bet. Where are we placing our bet? Why are we getting out of this rocking chair and stay the course? Make the decision, decide to make the bet. What am I betting on? And stay the course. One car. Not this, that car. This car. That car. Growing a business is not a race to the finish line. Doesn't have to be a race car either. I don't drive a fancy car at all. And we're doing it. We are doing it literally and metaphorically. My cars are not fancy. You get to choose how we do this. And honestly, steady wasn't so bad. I was having babies, I had chronic migraines. And we built a strong foundation and we grew it to a pretty, pretty incredible place. A place that only a small number of business owners get to because we kept the focus, we continued to prioritize and then we were ready. So you may be saying no, I'm going to say steady right now, but I need it to be a little bit faster. We've got to accelerate this or you may say, no, no, no, take me all the way there. Let's go right now. And the modern CEO, quite honestly is this path. And it can be this path versus the messy marketer. The messy marketer actually pulls down this whole average. The messy marketer hangs out down here. Right? There is a gap between when you show up as the modern CEO and when you show up as the messy marketer. What is fear keeping you from doing right now? Asked this on Monday and I'm asking you to come back to it now. I kept more of our Monday content in because in our catch up here because the reflection happens two times a week and I ask myself a series of questions every week and this is our plan, profit scale reflection. And I'm loving that we came back to it because I stepped into this week fearful about some things and I'm ending this week a little less fearful and a little more excited about where we are headed and some of the decisions that I am making in my business right now as well. I talk about being in this together and we are absolutely, absolutely in this together. What is fear holding you back from doing right now? And please feel free to answer in the chat if something's coming up for you because we can reflect and process this together too. I am deciding to forge a different path. I'm still baby stepping some things. I'm still There are some things where big, big stepping, big stepping, testing new strategies. But wherever you're feeling that nudge, that calling, that voice to take an action, to step into a different role in your business, you are right on time. You are right on time to accelerate. You are right on time to take the foundation you've been building and take it to the next level. Fear is keeping me from leveling up even more. I have found myself procrastinating. So excited now. You've been taking action ever since things started. I am so excited, Tanya, to be working with you. Inside the Modern CEO. Trudy One of the things that I shared in our VIP session on Wednesday night was that I've been a little fearful about my TikToks, but we're doing it with Anna from the A team by my side. We are firing up the tiktoks and I did a shameless. It's the first time I've shared publicly outside of TikTok. Of course that's pretty public, but it's the first time I have shared publicly that I have started this TikTok and I did a shameless ask for Tick Tock followers. So if you are on TikTok, I invite you to come check me out. Amber underscore McHugh there's a story with how I lost my Amber McHugh all one word, no underscore, handle. But I am there and I am fearlessly loving creating TikToks. Even with my third. I think we're up to 33 actually. Tanya Trudy, I think you helped me and Trudy is stepping into the IG reels. Melissa Fear is keeping me from walking out. The calling that I know is on my life. Fear is keeping me from remembering. This is not about me. This is about who I need to serve. That is a great pancake flip. That is a great flip of the script. We talk about inside my experiences, my programs, in my businesses, with our teams, when we're interviewing that we are constantly flipping the pancake as entrepreneurs. Let me describe this a little bit More. This is actually something I learned from our friends over at Delivering Happiness, and they have a core value that is about flipping pancakes. And what does this mean? Actually, I don't know if it's one of their values, but they introduced it to me and it is certainly one of my values and mantras and ways of living. But every time I make pancakes, I burn them. Yes, pretty much every time. I do not make them very often. So I have not learned to get out of burn the pancake mode. But what happens on one side of the pancake, it may be burnt, but on the other side, fresh opportunity to get it right. And when I put that pancake on the plate for my kids, you know which side of the pancake I am showing them, it is most certainly not the burnt side or they would never eat my pancakes. Sometimes I get caught. But it's all right. We make it through and we have a great laugh about it. So as entrepreneurs, we are going to make mistakes. We're going to walk the wrong path sometimes we're going to forget that we need to keep the focus and stay in one car because we can only drive one car at a time. But that is a. Okay, we'll hop in the wrong car and we'll get right back in the right car with every flip of the pancake. So I talk about us being professional pancake flippers as modern CEOs and entrepreneurs. So if you find yourself pancake flipping, it's okay. It's okay if we place the wrong bet every now and then. But guess what? At least you placed a bet. At least you showed up. At least you made a decision that is to be commended and that is absolutely going to accelerate our growth. You know, I think about real estate investing and I think about it, and I rock on it. And my sister has done some actual getting on up out of that rocking chair and placing a bet in her real estate investments. And guess who's doing better at real estate investment, right? I am, absolutely. I'm not even a messy marketer. On the real estate investing side, I'm just a thinker. I'm a rocker. I'm a tinkerer. I rock, I think, right? If we put, if I gave my husband ownership, he'd have decisions made on that so fast. If I, if I just turned it over to my sister, I actually, I don't know if it'd be done because she's got a different motivation if she's doing it for me versus her. Right. She's placing bets, she's making Decisions. So we've gotta make the decision. Right? I am a modern CEO in my two businesses. My sister is a modern CEO in her business. You don't have to be a modern CEO in all the things, but you have to step into this modern CEO role where you are placing your bet and where it matters. I have not placed a bet in real estate. Right. I'm not there yet. I'm focused on a couple of other things. I'm focused on working with you inside the modern CEO. It is one of my greatest joys. And I am focused on our photography business, a team that I love and a mission that I believe in. And I'm so inspired by. Where are you placing your bet? It's not going to be the same bet as mine. Now, we've talked about this. If you're still asking, like, wait, where's the million dollar secret? This is the wrong question to ask. And this is going to take us to today's conversation. I got my eyes on everyone who's thinking about the million dollar secret question. It's all over in our marketing. It's all over in the marketing we see. And I'm not gonna lie, when we split test ads, when we are talking about money and the dollar signs, it performs a whole lot better. Feel like I have to learn that lesson every year. One time, every year, it performs so much better than when we were talking about joy. Our brains are tuned in, tapped in maybe because we're entrepreneurs to the money conversation. Right. But this is the outcome and I want us to detach a little bit right now from the outcome that we seek as entrepreneurs because it's going to make the journey more joyful and it's going to make us appreciate and bounce back from those burnt pancakes a whole lot faster. And what's that going to do when we're bouncing back? Factor faster when we're flipping those pancakes? We're going to extend, accelerate on our path to get to our end destination. So it's a little bit tricky because we want to have this conversation. This is where our brain is tapped in, tuned in. I get it. I so get it. I really love talking about money, honestly. But we have to detach from that outcome if we want to flip those pancakes faster and get on our journey to reach our destination faster. Does that make sense? Does that make sense? It's a little bit meta. Trudy said. It's funny that we mentioned the pancakes. You actually had a breakdown as a new mom because we. You sucked at making pancakes. Me too. I was sure I was gonna suck at mom as well. And Your kids are 31 and 29 and are they doing fine? I bet so. I bet you are pretty awesome. Enjoyed that food. No matter how imperfect. Simple non fancy cooking mistakes and all. My husband sometimes walks into the kitchen and just laughs. It's like, what are you trying to do now? Like, I burnt it, I burned it. I got distracted. The kitchen is not the place for me unless we're baking pies. My family has a lot of good jokes and stories about that. I'm a pie baker. I am not a. I do not cook well, I can do it. But my husband definitely wins in that department. I will bake and I will make our salads. I got, I got, I got something I bring to the table. But he wins and my sister wins in real estate. So it's all about where we're placing our bets. Where are you placing your bet? Attachment versus detachment. So when we start talking about this idea of detachment, what does it mean? Well, attached looks a little bit like this. Oh, you can't see my arms crossed. I'm going to cross them higher. Right? There's little room for growth in this. It's isolating. I'm going to stand up for a minute actually. Let's see those arms crossed. Right? There's little room for growth. It's isolating. I'm closed off. I'm limiting possibility. It's hopeless feeling. It's hopeless feeling. And I'm not talking about when we're closed off because we're cold. I'm talking about when we're closed off because we are not open to that. You know the difference? You know the difference? I get cold. My husband turns the air condition way up and I immediately run and turn it way down. But there are other times when I'm operating in a closed off way when instead if I were focused, I place my bet and I'm going to focus on the journey. I'm going to focus on where I am now and detach from how I get there. That is arms wide open. That detachment is what right on time is all about. That detachment. Excuse me. Excuse me. Is what right on time is all about. There's lots of room for growth when we are detached from the outcome. It is expansive feeling. There's limitless possibility. We're going to stay focused. We're going to take it one step at a time. Because I can see what's right in front of me. Sometimes seeing exactly how I will get to my destination is a little bit trickier. I Have the map. I have a road map, but you never know what's going to come up. When we were on safari in Africa, our guide Simon, knew where our camp was. It was behind those trees over there in the distance. Okay, there. There were a lot of trees over there. I didn't know which trees he was talking about. And specifically he said, it's behind that tree. And there were two trees in the distance. I don't know which tree. But you know what? I trust in this journey we're on. I trust in this process. I trusted in Simon. And then we saw Cheetah, and we got distracted. We were. We were off the path, and then we got back on the path and some lions stopped us. We weren't supposed to drive off the road, off the path, but the lions were blocking it. They were sitting there resting after dinner, enjoying their evening, winding down for the day. We weren't going anywhere. We were stopped. Unless we wanted to get off that path, which Simon didn't want to do because it was against the rules, but he did. We got back on the path, headed to that tree in the distance, and we started down that path, and we reached a riverbank that was full of hippos. The only way to those trees in the distance was to go through the river that was filled with hippos. Now, I thought those hippos were cute, but apparently hippos are a little bit dangerous for humans. They're dangerous in the savannah. There was. We were on our path. We were doing great. We were on the right way. Oh, man. These obstacles keep on coming, just like they do for us. But am I complaining? Nope. This was the adventure of a lifetime. I saw cheetos, cheetahs. I saw hippos. I saw lions. We saw an elephant. We saw many of the big five. And we were less than an hour into our safari. Stay open to the possibility that something incredible is happening, even if it's not a straight, direct, predictable path. Because when you embrace this modern CEO role, you're going to be able to adjust no matter what comes up. Yes. You'd rather stay with the lions. Yeah. So I have this list here that I want to invite you to go through as we think about being open to the possibility. Are you in a space of attachment or detachment right now? Attachment says it's not going to work. Just make a little checklist for the attachment side and we'll tally them up. So if any of these come to mind for you, just hit check, check, check, check, and we will identify. Right. How many am I operating in more of an attached mode or detached mode right now. Attachment says it's not going to work. Attachment says when I hit this goal, when I make a million, when I'm at five figures a month, then I will. Attachment says I'm going to be so upset if I don't reach my target. Attachment says if it doesn't go according to plan, I don't know what I'll do. Attachment says if I would have done this, I would have this. Attachment says Facebook, insert whatever platform there is going to ruin my launch. Attachment says you need me. That client, they need me. They need me. Attachment says if they don't hire me, I don't know what I'll do. Attachment says I'm the only one that can do this. Thinking about that hiring process, thinking about team building. How many did you have on the attachment side? How many did you have on the attachment side? You don't have to tell me. You can keep it to yourself. No worries either way here. And I want to share with you the flip side of this. Detachment, right? The opposite. Let's try this and see what happens. Detachment says I'm going to be happy and do this now. Not going to wait until I hit a certain goal to be happy. No, no. Let's enjoy this as we go. Am I right? Detachment says I'm learning every step of the way. I find joy in that. Detachment says I have a plan, but plans change. This is going to be a fun ride. I'm gonna flip those pancakes. Detachment says something bigger is at work here. Shoe. Detachment says, with these new circumstances, let's try these new things. This platform's not working for me. I'm gonna try these new things. Detachment says you've got this under control. Why do you need me? Think about sales, conversations that you've had. Think about your marketing. You need me. This is the only way. Versus you've got this. Why do you need me? I cannot tell you how many times actually, I have said this in conversations with him. Like, I. It sounds like you've got this under control. Why are you thinking I can help? I would love to, but what are you seeing that I'm not seeing? Oh, okay. That unlocks so much. I'm not sure if I can help you. Tell me more. Your current team sounds awesome. I'm not hearing what your gaps are. Can you share more about that? Definitely in the detachment mindset, but I have old messages of attachment. That creep in. Heck yeah. Heck, yeah. I'm looking at this list right now, which I created And I'm even thinking about my own journey. I'm like, man, I have operated in the detachment space so much more frequently without even thinking about it. Now I continue to embody right this modern CEO way. And really what I'm talking about here is a lot of right on time magic as well. A lot of right on time feeling and emotion and a lot of this. A lot of going from arms crossed to arms wide open. In fact, I want to invite you right now to cross your arms and feel that. What does that feel like for you versus arms wide open, what does that feel like? Whenever I'm in a space of attachment or I'm in a space of worry, or I'm in a space of this isn't going how I expected. I know I'm in a space of control. I'm in a space of control there. And I literally physically shift my posture. If I'm walking, I shift my entire being and I open my arms wide open. Sometimes I'll be sitting in this chair doing it. I'll open my arms wide open and I will feel the shift. Yes, Arms closed. Feel stressed and strained. Closed off. We do really well at Arms Wide Open as a team. Yeah, we do. Malia, I love hearing you say that, though. I see it more and more and more and more. This is empowering. And I want to invite you to shift to arms wide open if you haven't yet. What does that feel like? I am ready. I oftentimes get emotional when I shift to this space because I can immediately feel the difference of being closed off and disconnected and detached to being open to the possibility. Open to what possibility? That the exact right people are going to sign up for the modern CEO this round. I am open to the possibility. I believe and I know and I see it, that we're going to work with the exact right people. I am open to the possibility that that vision I have is absolutely freaking lutely coming to life. It is coming. I'm not there yet. Nope, I'm not there yet. I'm making some shifts. I told you, I've got some things that I'm working through. As I think about those bets and those decisions that I'm making and the fear that even I'm holding on to. That's okay. We are human. We are high performing, motivated individuals, and we are going to make that progress. Heck, yeah, Trudy. I feel vulnerable. You know it. You know it. But that's not a bad thing. I love that you teach that. So shifting back here to what are those feelings, when we are feeling attachment, when we are feeling closed off, when we're feeling envy, when I'm feeling annoyed at Sweet Harper's temper tantrum. There is a very specific tantrum in 2017. Oh my gosh. That I think of. If I'm feeling anxiety, confused, angry with my husband, I want to shift it. I want to flip that pancake with my emotion and I want to move into community and supporting others. I want to sit next to Harper and offer a hug and just pour into her until she's feeling ready because I can't control when her feelings are going to shift. I can't control when, when my clients are going to understand that it's time to get up on out of the rocking chair. But I can guide and I can help and I'm going to be there encouraging and supporting and making recommendations. I am ready for it when you are right. I might nap or meditate. If I'm feeling anxiety, I might journal. If I'm feeling confused, I might remind myself of the choices that I have in how I feel. So I move from anger to the place I want to be. There may be many different things that you do to flip your pancake and shift your feelings. These are just some examples. Now I went off on a little bit of joy in the journey tangent there because this is all part of our journey to scale up with less mess. Now this week we talked about it a little bit more practically. We talked about if we are operating right now more like the slot machine that is unpredictable, inconsistent. We're placing bets, but we're not placing bets strategically. We're, we're watching whatever comes by and we're like, okay, yeah, let me try that. Big money, Big money, baby. We've got lots of offers. We're always putting new messages out there without a lot of strategy versus operating like the atm. More predictable, more sustainable. One strong offer, one message, one clear way to attract clients. This is the shift from a messy marketer or insert your role or how you would describe what you are doing right now to right. And I mentioned on the real estate side, I'm not even a messy marketer. I'm thinking right. I tinker same thing for a long time with TikTok. Thought about it, thought about it some more. Then I made a commitment and I made a decision and you can check out, you can check out where we are now. That is not something I am attached to. That is a part of our journey. It's beautiful versus how the modern CEO shows up. You know which business Grew faster, You know, which business and which way of operating outpaces the other one. It's pretty clear, right? It's pretty clear. Plus, I showed you some of the. I showed you some of this, right? Messy marketer. I mean, we're still going, but we're not at the same level because we did not have focus. We did not operate with our CEO systems in place consistently. I tested, tried a lot of different things. Right. So we identified. Yes, we've got to focus. We've got to focus. But what do I focus on? What do I do? Well, we've got to start with where you are now, just like we did on that safari with Simon. We knew where we were and we knew where we wanted to be going. In fact, he said, hey, in Africa, we have this saying, you know where you are and you know where you're going. Everything in between me. Okay, I kind of love you, Simon. And my husband and I, every step of the way. When Simon saying, we're late. Were lost, you trusted me. I was supposed to get you there. Like, we're good. This is right on time. Every lion, every cheetah, every hippo, every elephant. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. So start with where you are now, because we don't want a future trip. We don't want to boil the ocean. We don't want to take on too much too fast. This is oftentimes what we do. Too much too fast. Pace yourself, pace yourself. Right? Otherwise we're like, whoa, whoa, whoa. When you could be whoa in it, right? So pace yourself. Startups ramp up, scale up, CEO up. This week, we defined what you should focus on based on your stage of business. And if you want to go back to this, you're like, oh, where was this? I need to spend more time on this. That was workshop two. That was workshop two. And based on your stage of business, we break down what you need to focus on. So you'll want to go back to Workshop 2 for that. And the modern CEO, we also have a roadmap. I'm not working to boil the ocean with you. We're not going to take in all the things, right? We're gonna. Not gonna take in all the things, but you are going to want to identify based on your stage of business, inside the modern CEO, what are you starting with? And then you're going to start down only that path. When people come and they say, okay, where do I start? Where do I start again? All right, here's where you're going to start. And we can even get more specific. You might Send me a question inside the the hotline inside the modern CEO. That was a lot of layers inside the modern CEO and say, okay, here's where I am. I'm focused on sales systems, but here's what I've done and here's my exact situation. And I will pinpoint even further what your next step and your next move is. You do not have to be doing this alone. You do not have to be wheel spinning. You do not have to sit there unclear and wondering. I don't know what I should do. So I'm not doing anything. I'm going to rock. I'm not sure what I should do. So I'm going to do all the things. Oh my gosh, please, no, let us help you. I am not the only one that can help you. I am detached. But man, we can definitely help you. Inside the modern CEO. And I say we because it's not just me. We have a team of mentors because I am not an expert in everything and everything. I'm not trying to be an expert for in all the things. We have a team of mentors. We have an incredible community of modern CEOs who are going to blow your mind also. Oh, awesome. So good. So good, Trudy. Thank you for sharing that. Also, I want we talked about in our workshop Tuesday, what are the danger zones? Right? At each level, for each stage, there's something different that we may each want to watch out for. Something different we each come across based on our stage of business. So you can check that out in workshops too as well. And we talked about the mindsets we need to embrace at the different stages of our business. So good. So good. Oh, wait. Okay, bingo reminder. Don't forget if you are watching this right now or you have not submitted your bingo card yet. We have our winner. Tanya is our grand prize winner. But someone here is getting the right on time hat someone here is getting the right on time water bottle. Someone's getting our print bundle and our digital copy of our Fresh start workbook. Someone's getting the right on time sticker for your water bottle for your laptop. Someone's getting a strategy session with me still. So you are right on time. Even if you're playing catch up, there is still time to win. And when you have completed your bingo card, go to Amber mchugh.com forward/pps bingo. And we'll announce winners next week. So you're going to want to turn on notifications in the Facebook group. You're going to want to turn on your email notifications so you can be notified if you win. Well, you're going to talk me into more prizes. Malia. I love it. Oh my gosh, Tanya, you're so welcome. I love it. M. Shaw got her stuff in. Digging it. Okay, good. Kim G's got her stuff in too. I like it. I like it. I like it. We also this week looked at the mistakes modern entrepreneurs make. One of the biggest mistakes I see over and over and over again online is work harder. If you see someone working hard and they tell you to work harder, I want you to know that there is more to that work harder story than meets the eye. I know some incredible CEOs who are saying, do it. You got to do the work. You got to put in the work. You got to work harder. Yeah, we have to put in the work. We have to do the work. But there's more to that story than simply work harder. Some are working harder and not getting anywhere for it. Some are working harder and growing. But there is more to that story because Even low performing CEOs have high work ethic. Even low performing CEOs have high work ethic. So there is more to the story when we're looking at our high performing CEOs versus our low performing CEOs than work harder. So when someone tells you, I work hard, that's my secret. Work harder. It'll work for you too. I'd ask more questions. I'd call uncle on that and say, nope, I want to know more. Tell me more about what you're doing. And we played a game this week. This is in Workshop 3 if you want to go back to it called C CEO Feud where we broke down CEO versus CEO Feud and look at the differences between high performing CEOs and those that are not performing as well in their leadership roles. And you can check that out. This ultimately leads us to our CEO systems. This is part of the modern CEO path, which we go through, of course in detail inside the modern CEO. We have, I think it's, I think the modern CEO path. Our CEO systems are actually our largest collection. Feel like our workbook. There is 177 pages. We'll give that to you so you can also print it out if you want. Many of our modern CEOs print out the modern CEO path. All of our videos, all of our lessons, all of our workshops inside the Modern CEO are also available in workbook format. In case you prefer to read, then you do watch videos. I listen to audio or I read. I do not watch videos generally speaking myself. If I were watching this replay right now, you'd be in my ear. In fact, all of the replays are going up on the podcast as well if you prefer to listen. Because I get you. I get you. I get it, I get it, I get it. So we have a variety of formats and ways that we can stay connected and that you can move through the modern safety CEO. And if you want to check that out in detail, go over to amber mchugh.com Modern CEO and CEO systems are one of the biggest ones. In our workshop on Wednesday, we completed a crystal ball and I shared with you an assessment. If you are not doing those things sometimes closer to always, I can generally predict the future of your business. Now the good news is there's time to make a change about that. There's plenty of time. Why? We're right on time. Right on time, baby. Work smarter. Yes. Facts. Ah yeah, totally. Okay. Don't even need the file. I'm sure you got it. Good to go. So we looked at those top mistakes entrepreneurs make in our CEO feud and we created our crystal ball. I will give you that crystal ball and we're going to fine tune that crystal ball more and more and more inside everything we implement in the modern CEO. And over time you're going to be able to predict your own results. That's through looking at KPIs, that's through knowing our numbers. That's through the million dollar marketing plan that we will create together inside the modern CEO. It is all there for you to start taking in right now. You can log in when you join us inside the modern CEO. You'll actually get access to everything right away. So you can start down the modern CEO path, whether that's sales systems, CEO systems, or client success systems. And then all the live elements that we have for you begin either in our onboarding on May 20, if you can make that, or May 26, we have another onboarding session. Why do we have live onboarding? Because we do things a little bit different than other programs. Inside the modern CEO. We have a lot of touch points and we want to make sure that you know what they are so you can fully take advantage of our accountability model where you get rewards and points and where you can reach out to me on the hotline anytime, anywhere. You can reach out and I reply Monday through Thursday and sometimes Friday. I replied to some today. I put Friday in there because I try to like unwind and focus on other things on Friday. But usually I'll come back. I don't mind. I love It, I love it. And there was one I was thinking on, so I replied today to the hotline. Since doing this workshop, you redid the crystal ball exercise. Oh my gosh. Amazing. Yes. So stinking good. So we did our CEO systems, we looked at our moneymaker systems, and then the next thing we stepped into. This was actually in workshop four yesterday, we looked at sales systems and in our sales systems, I want to make sure you've got one clear offer that's working for you, one strong message that's working for you. And you have one way to attract those clients into your experience, your services, your products. We're starting with one. We are starting with one, yes. After that, can you layer in other strategies? Absolutely. But I want you to start with 1. 1, 1. And I want you to get 1, 1, 1 working really well before you layer on anything else. Build a strong foundation and then layer on other sales strategies and tactics. We have only started TikTok because I have other things in place that are working well. And then now that we've got tick tock our system in place, I'm detached from the outcome. It will work exactly the way it's supposed to work or not. And we'll get data on that as we go. But now I can layer in something else. Should we. So choose. We don't have to. We don't have to. So then the next thing we looked at inside the modern CEO path and in our workshop yesterday were client success systems. In our client success systems, we want to make sure you've got the right fit business model for you and your clients. A business model design is not one size fits all. I got some jeans in my closet. I got some clothes just like the pair of jeans. You want things to fit right. I don't enjoy wearing jeans. I actually very rarely have jeans on. And we're getting ready to, we're, we're rolling into summer here. I'm like, I'm not going to wear those jeans all summer. I like it loose and flowy in the summer. And so my dresses, my wide leg pants, the palazzo pants, right? And you want the right fit for you. You want the right fit for you based on the season you are in right now and the right fit for your clients, it's got to match up. So we looked at scalable intimacy. We want to make sure you build out your client's success path and we want to make sure you have a client, five star client experience in place. But if you're thinking, oh, I need to focus on that, I want to make sure that you are focused on it based on your stage of business. If you are at that scale up level, then okay, you're gonna double check a couple things on sales systems with me, but then you're gonna move into client success systems. And then if you're at startup or ramp up, you're going to get your sales systems all buttoned up and in place first. Then you are going to look at client success systems at ramp up at startup. I have a couple of other things I want us to spend our time on in sales systems. Then we're going to move over to client success systems. Right. CEO up. You're going to start with your CEO systems, then you're going to come into client success systems. We're going to take this one step at a time. We have a roadmap for you so we can start where we are and start walking the path to get to our destination. Not focused on all the things, but the most important things right now. So this is going to help us extend, accelerate our growth. This is going to accelerate our growth. When you are focused and operating more like the modern CEO than the tinkerer. Oh, the thinker. The tinkerer or the messy marketer. And this is the time to make that decision, to join us inside the modern CEO and get everything you need to make your promotion to the modern CEO role. We're going from old school running a business to the new way of running a business, your way. As we step into this new modern CEO way of running a business, yes. There are some things that we are going to pull from what's working from the old school way. You're going to see some things that have been done in corporate before, but we freshened it up and we adapt it and we align it to the new way of running a business, which is often there's a digital marketing component. You know it, I know it. We gotta get online with our businesses. There is more freedom, there's more flexibility, there's more joy, there's higher profit margins. Higher profit margins in this new way of doing business. Are you ready? Are you ready for your promotion to CEO? In fact, Harper would have more to say on this. Last night she was sitting next to me, wasn't nighttime yet. I did not work last night. I was sitting on the front porch working yesterday afternoon with Harper. She came out, did some homework and she said, oh, okay, I need to write about the modern CEO now. And she wrote, I should actually share this with you and share this in the group. But she wrote about what it meant to be a modern CEO. And she knows that's how I try and operate and that's what I step into. It's what we talk about in our client spaces, obviously inside the modern CEO. But to see it from her lens, it's like, oh girl, that's what you see. Oh, that was like, whoa. Right on time. Moment. So beautiful. And I'm going to stay open to the possibility that we can keep doing this. And when someone who, who like Harper, who has no perspective, no judgment, no preconceived notions of what it is to run a business, sharing her viewpoints on how we run our businesses as modern CEOs inside the modern CEO, I'm like, oh, that is powerful. That is powerful. So even Harper sees this different way of running a business. And you are invited to join us. Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work with so many modern CEOs who are doing things their way. If you go to amber mckee.com modern CEO, you'll see videos and you'll see stories of how modern CEOs are doing business different. Kelly. I thought I popped some different stories in here. I did actually share this story earlier this week, but Kelly wanted independence. She wanted location independence and she's got it. At the time that she shared this, this was actually a few years ago now. Worked with Kelly over the years and she was with us in early iterations of the modern CEO for a few years. She, it was had location independence, was growing her revenue and was living working from everywhere. Had a team man, really bringing her vision of what it meant to be a modern CEO to life. You get to define how you show up and how you operate. And as a modern CEO, there are a couple of different ways we can go about this, right? This is actually quite beautiful. And this had a lot more bumps. In fact, one of these businesses had a lot more bumps than the other business. And we want to close that gap for you too. I don't want you to have to do this. I want you to get this lift a lot faster. As we step into that modern CEO role, growth can feel overwhelming, like you're creating another low paying job for yourself. You might sometimes ask yourself, what about that dream that I had about running my business? Oops. With freedom. More joy. Margaritas on the deck at 3pm no margaritas for me. They give me migraines. But I can sit on the deck at 3pm now, right? Whatever that dream is for you, you can have it too. If you're done with the Overwhelm the exhaustion, the hustle. Step in to this modern CEO role and promote yourself. The modern CEO shows you how to build, scale and grow sustainable, profitable, more profitable than the old school ways of doing business. The Modern CEO you can check out just in case anyone was just joining us and looking for the link@amber McHugh.com forward/modernceo. And we're going to be open for enrollment for one more week. Why just one week? Because next Friday we have our first onboarding session. When you join us in the Modern CEO, you're going to get access to everything right away. You can grab the workbooks, you can start going through the modern CEO path in our collection of CEO systems, client success systems, and sales and marketing systems. But we're going to kick off officially on March 20th. I'm sorry, not March, May 20th or May 26th, depending on what time works for you in our live onboarding. Because we have a lot of elements inside the Modern CEO to support you, and I want to make sure you know how to use them and you know how to get the most out of those elements immediately. CEO systems, sales systems, client success systems, Go go time. Start down your path. Check out the roadmap and identify what is the right place to start. This is where I am right now. And then start in that location. But those other elements that we have, one thing that we have is the Playbook. The Playbook is a guide that we have put together that you fill in and create and personalize using CEO systems, sales systems, client success systems, and the model that we have put together. Hustle has been broken for a very long time. Hustle is overworking and hype. Yeah, we gotta dial it back. Gotta dial it back. Oh, my gosh, I love this. And then as we go through the CEO systems, the client success systems, the sales systems, create your playbook. So right away, when you get inside, I want you to grab your playbook because you're going to start populating it and personalizing it for you, for example, your values. Right. How we're moving clients through a transformative experience. What is that? Client journey. This is personalized. It's not copy paste. Our businesses are not one size fits all. They're not. You know it. You know, you can't just take exactly what someone else is doing and make it your own. That doesn't work. We're going to take elements. Do I take strategies and pull strategies from my colleagues and those who. I see her doing incredible work online when the marketing ad comes by? Yes, I do if it's aligned with my strategy, if it's aligned with how I want to show up, there are brilliant people doing incredible things out there and teaching us how to do those great, brilliant, incredible things, too. But if it doesn't fit your strategy, it is not going to work because we are way out of alignment. First up, we got to stay open to the possibility that you know what you're doing and that I would bet on you, that you would bet on yourself. And we're going to create your personalized roadmap for growth, your go to approach for getting things done, not someone else's go to approach. Gotta stay in alignment. We build that out in the playbook. As you step inside the modern CEO, you're going to get everything you need to fully embrace your modern CEO promotion. We have the full schedule through the end of the year set up, so I'm gonna mark my calendar now to make sure I don't miss anything. Everything that we have on our calendar happens at two times. It happens. I'm going to make this a little bit bigger for you. It happens at 11am Eastern and 7pm Eastern on Thursday, U.S. eastern time. Because we want to cover the globe as best as we can. I know in Asia, this can be a little bit early. This one's a little bit late. So you can pick, okay, what's better for me right now. But we generally cover the globe with our time zones. Once a year, we have a virtual retreat. Twice a year, we have a virtual retreat. But when you join us inside the modern CEO, it's initially for six months. Six months, you're going to get traction. You're going to start heading down that path. And sometimes you're like, I have exactly what I need. It's perfect. Most people decide to continue on with us for another six months. So we do have two virtual retreats per year. And in your first six months with us, you will be invited to one virtual retreat. And that first virtual retreat is at the end of June. I'm going to give you the exact dates now so you can mark your calendar and make sure you are there with us. Those are on the 22nd and the 23rd. And yes, they're also happening at two different time zones because we want to make sure it works for you and your schedule. In addition, if you decide to join us in our scale level, we actually have three levels inside the modern CEO. Grow, scale, and accelerate. When you decide to join us at that scale level, we have two quarterly planning sessions where we go through. We do a Deeper Dive planning session each quarter and also everyone in Accelerate is also invited to those. So we've got Grow, Scale and Accelerate. So you might want to think about joining Scale or Accelerate. Accelerate if you want those quarterly strategy sessions as well. We do monthly game plan and masterminding. This is on the first Thursday of every month. Again, same time, 7am or 7pm Pick your time. And we want to come together once a month to ensure we are not just wheel spinning, but that. Right. We're focused on the right things to get to our destination this month. Right. We align our broader goals with our monthly intentions and then that drills down and cascades down to daily and weekly. You know, inside the Modern CEO, we do have material for you to guide and walk through, to guide you through. But we are not exclusively a course. We're also a mastermind and implementation incubator because we can take in all the information in the world, but that's just going to keep us rocking. Ultimately, we've got to get up on out of that rocking chair and implement everything that we are talking about. So we wrap around the core Modern CEO collection implementation elements. We have Open Studio consulting calls second Thursday of each month for grow and sell Scale. So there is second scale is on the second Thursday of each month and then the third Thursday of each month. Oh, it says Tuesday. That's Thursday. The third Thursday of each month. We have our All Open Studio call. So Scale has a private Open Studio consulting call each month on the second Thursday and we have the all Open Studio consulting call on the third Thursday. And I want to show you an integrated calendar of this in just a second because we've got this going the first week, we've got this going the second and the third week and then the fourth week of every month we have Productivity week. This is where we do not have any scheduled calls, but we are still in the group to support you. We still do our weekly Focus Finder, which I'll share more about in just a second. And the hotline is still open so you can ask me questions. Why do we do this? Because we're talking about it, we're strategizing on it. You're working through the playbook and the modern CEO path. We want to make sure we carve out time to not think about it and talk about it, but to do it. So we as a group intentionally set aside time each month to just everybody, let's focus. What are we going to get done? Melissa, I'll see you in there. Oh, sorry, Trudy, I missed that for grow. Yeah, Grow has all of this as well. Grow has all of this as well. There are just a couple things that are scale specific. But yeah, grow. Here, here, here. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Great question, great question. So I mentioned a couple of things. The weekly Focus Finder. Every week we're cascading those goals down and I want to hear from you, what are you working on? How did last week go? And we have a scaling a scoring process for this that you will identify and become familiar with it. But if you enter the red danger zone, we're going to be connected and I can reach out, right? So I want to hear from you. I cannot support you and collaborate with you if I don't pay attention to what's happening in your business. And to do that right, we have to communicate and this is one of the ways that we stay in connection that's through our Focus Finder. The hotline is also available. If you want to test the hotline, pop me a question over@amber McHugh.com forward/modern CEO and you can send me a question. Any question you have about the modern CEO on a version of the hotline. It's not our full on hotline, but you can test it out on Amber McKee.com forward/modern CEO and send me a question. This is simply an opportunity for you to send me a question by video, audio or text and I will reply by video to your questions real time. Because when you get in action, when you are implementing, questions are going to come up and I am most certainly here to answer them. This is that implementation incubator thing that we're talking about, not just talking about what we're doing, not just going through the material and going through the course, but let's get it done and when you get stuck, let's get unstuck so you can get back in action on the road towards your destination. Then I mentioned there are modern CEO rewards which are one of my favorite things. Before I tell you about those sample of our calendar where Monday I invite you to complete your weekly Focus Finder. Tuesday I'm going to check in on those weekly focus finders. This sort of gives you an idea of the day in the life inside the modern CEO as well. Thursdays we are meeting and connecting either in a game plan, monthly game plan in our scale open studio session or the all open studio session. Then the last week of every month we're all going to get productive together. And there are no calls that week but the hotline is absolutely open as, of course, is our Facebook group. Inside the modern CEO, you always have available the core collection in the modern CEO Path, the hotline, the virtual retreat scale, quarterly strategy sessions, scale and accelerate back pockets at our accelerate level, they're unlimited. And in scale, you get the annual game plan session with me, the Playbook, and our rewards program, which is such a blast. So this is a little peek inside the modern CEO and I want to show you the goals. The hotline is there for you. The Playbook. Download that right away when you get inside. You can also start going through the modern CEO path right away, depending on where you start. And when you scroll down on this page here, you're also going to see the roadmap. So you'll be able to grab the roadmap and identify, okay, if I'm at startup, if I'm at scale up, oh, I flipped those. If I'm at scale up, if I'm at ramp up, if I'm at CEO up, which stage should I start at? And then it'll guide you to exactly what you need to be doing inside the modern CEO path. Inside the modern CEO, you will also see the more under the rewards and goals. Inside the modern CEO, there's going to be a space for you to map out your goals and track your progress to your goals. What are the milestones I am working on and what's my status? Personal goals. Because business is personal, we integrate these things. Personal goals and what's my status? What do I want to do each month? Month Revenue. Also identifying our revenue goals. Because we want to track and you want to observe. All right, how am I doing? You can start tracking those goals right away. In addition, and your goals and rewards, we've got a few other things happening. Every time you complete that weekly focus finder that I mentioned and we get connected, you're going to get points. You will get 3000 points per week for filling out your weekly focus finder and identifying what are my goals for the week? What are my accomplishments from last week? How am I doing? This is where I'm going to see if there's a red alert and I'm going to check in on those yellows and greens and you're going to get the points. In addition, you get points. When you celebrate a business milestone. When you celebrate a business milestone, that could be you're implementing something inside the modern CEO that could be you're reaching a new level in your business or you've celebrated a personal business milestone that you've identified. Because I can't Think of all of the things that you'll be doing because you are innovating and doing something different in your business. Then we've also got our self care space. Yes, you get points when you take care of yourself as a modern CEO because you matter. This business is not going to work without you. Right. It can run and operate without you. But you're creating the vision and you're charting this path and we need you. So you got to take care of yourself. So when you do some self care, whether you get a massage, you spent the weekend reading a book, you had an appointment with your therapist, whatever that is you went on that run you were planning to do. I think I'm scheduled a massage for this weekend. That just occurred to me. Now I would like some self care points. And then when you have a conversation with a modern CEO and they blow your mind, you can award that other modern CEO points as well because we are most certainly in this together. Then you can claim those points with for cash, for strategy sessions with myself or our mentors. Swag VIP days. Of course the VIP days, you got to save a lot of points to get to those VIP days. There's a virtual VIP day and there's an in person VIP day that you can save those points for, but lots of things that you can claim those points for. In addition, when you enroll with us@amber McHugh.com forward/modern CEO Today, you by the end of the day today. And if you already enrolled, you also get these bonuses. But we're going to build your perfect funnel in a workshop. So when you enroll by the end of the day today, we're going to build your perfect funnel live workshop together. I say you're an emphasis there versus on perfect because it's personalized. What's right for you is not necessarily what's right for Melissa versus what's right for Shan. Because we're running different businesses and we're aligned to different strategies and we have different goals. So we're going to sync that up based on what is right for you. Awesome. Yes. We need those revenue goals. Love it. Oh Trudy, let me know what you're looking for the link for. Let me know. And we got you. Oh. Oh. So I'm thinking July because we've got our virtual retreat, we've got a scale quarterly session in there plus we have our weekly calls and I don't want to. I'm not in the business of causing more overwhelm. So I'm thinking we will be doing that workshop in July. Awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I am Trudy, I'm. I wish I knew which link was you were talking about so we could get that fixed for you. But definitely we can pop you a message and get you the link to whichever link you are looking for. And if anybody is struggling to like click through on something or check something out or if you have a specific question that I cannot decipher in the chat. Perfect. Malia's got you taken care of. I love that this is where it's so nice. Just like, oh, let's talk. Which is why we've got that box in the lower right hand corner. You can also send me a hotline message inside the program but also on this page if you are stuck or want to figure something out. Because we want to get you direct answers all the time in your business. The modern CEO is a high touch. I hope you're seeing that right. We're going to take care of you. We're going to collaborate. More done with less stress, less confusion, way more ease. And the momentum just skyrockets. But we can't just take in the momentum and hang out there. We've got to actually put it in action. So we're here to support you on the implementation side as well. And you can visit ambermcch.com modernceo to see what many of our CEOs have seen said over the years. And because this is personalized. What's personalized? Well, the modern CEO is personalized, but also your business is personal. This is personal for me, right? Your growth, your success, what you get out of this and what is right for you right now. Hugely personal. That's why we have three levels available for you to join us inside the Modern CEO. And you can look at everything that's included in each level in more detail over@amber McHugh.com forward/modernceo. We got you. We'll break it down. We've talked a little bit about some of those differences here today inside this workshop, but it's all laid out there for you@amber McHugh.com ModernCEO as well. So what's next? Definitely check out any of the replays that are up for you. We went through the the catch up session today, but there's more if you want to go through any of those details and you can check out the replays of the workshops over@amber McHugh.com it all kind of starts with Amber McHugh. We keep it simple. Forward/pps links. If you want to deep dive back into anything, check out the replays. We've got daily bundles there for for you, the workbook, the bingo car. Because we're going to be calling winners all next week. Enter to win. You are right on time. And this round of the Modern CEO begins immediately. You are going to get access pretty much immediately when you join us@modern CEO Amber McKee.com forward/modern CEO. However, it officially runs from June 1st to November 30th. Why? Because we want to take the next couple of weeks for onboarding to get oriented. So many times you join and you hit the ground running. Yes, you can hit the ground running. It's all there for you. But we really want to show you right get started immediately. But I really want to have the opportunity to show you around so you can really get the most out of this experience. Experience. So we have live onboarding calls on May 20 and May 26. That's why enrollment only goes for this round of the modern CEO through May 20th. So we pause enrollment on May 20th. We're going to kick off onboarding and really shift to focusing on you as a new Modern CEO inside our community and inside our space. We want to love you up. I told you it's personal. I want to pause on take a minute to really get to know you, to understand your business, to ensure that you are also set up for success inside the Modern CEO. And then we'll revisit our next enrollment dates. Truthfully, we do not know when our next enrollment dates are. It's so funny. One person once said we were enrolling for the fresh for freshly implemented. They're like, oh, you know when you're gonna do it. You're a planner and you'll probably do it. You know exactly when you're it was something along this lines of you'll do it again. It'll probably be at this time. I'm like actually, I don't know. And that's when we changed, freshly implemented entirely and transformed it into the modern CEO. So there are some things we just don't know. I do know that there is a high probability that we will have a planet on again in the fall. I mean, that's like a 99% chance and will likely open up for enrollment then, but outside of that, I do not know. So if you are thinking the modern CEO is right for you, right on time, I want to invite you to listen to that nudge. Listen to that calling. Listen to that invitation. Oh, Tanya. Tanya has already started filling up and personalizing her playbook. We have two versions of the playbook. I love that you mentioned this. One that has photos and one that does not have photos. Why? Because we want to give you the option to personalize it. And when we first created it, it had no photos. I'm like, well, what if somebody doesn't have photos yet? So we created a version with photos as well. So you can pick the photo version or the no photo version and personalize. Personalize. Personalize. Yes, the points are coming, Trudy. So the points for joining will be awarded after onboarding or on or about onboarding time. So those are definitely coming. Great question. I so appreciate that you asked that. And we want to make. We're going to make a note inside the portal so that that is clear for everyone who joins that points for joining to use towards any bonuses that you may have received. For example, the bonus. There were two bonuses. Anyway, Points, points, points, points are coming. I could go on and on there. I love that question. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Ask questions that you may have. You can go over to amber mchugh.com forward/questions, but you can also book a modern CEO chat. Oh, let me uncover that. Tanya and I are. There we go. Hey, hey, hey. Also, good call, Malia. Oh, my goodness. This was one mega productive hour and 40 minutes. I can't believe we've been hanging out for an hour and 40 minutes. What? What? We did a little catch up. Oh, my gosh. I gotta shake out my hair. I'm feeling. I gotta move. I gotta get up and move. Ah, gotta get some water. Can't believe I didn't even take a drink during that whole time. Oh, my gosh. I've absolutely love, love, love. I'm gonna go back to a slide here. That may be helpful if people are looking for the links. Zip, zip, zip, zip. Back, back it on up, back it up, back it up. There we go. Let me clear this zip. I have had so much stinking fun with you this week. It's not over. I have trouble with goodbyes. You'll see when we get on our consulting calls. I have to really, like, check myself to make sure, like, okay, follow the schedule. Not everybody can stay here all day, even though that's what I want to do. Many times our back pockets, all the things. I just want to keep on going. So I try and keep things in a schedule. I said the Playbook. I meant we will be getting you the replay to check that out. But it is a lot easier to wrap up today on this beautiful Friday because we're not done yet. We've got prizes to be giving away next week. We are still enrolling all of next week next week. And you are right on time. If you're feeling a nudge, an inkling a calling, a voice, your voice to do something different, take that next step, make that next move, decide to place a bet on yourself and then stay the course. We are going to adapt and we are going to have challenges and changes that are coming up. Yes. Even in the next six months. Definitely in the next year. There is a lot going on right now. There's a lot going on for our clients. There's a lot going on for you as a business owner. And we're ready for it. We're going to navigate it and we're going to navigate all of those bumps, not always seamlessly. Sometimes it gets a little wild and choppy and rocky. But we've got it because we're stepping into that modern CEO role and we're going to know what we need to do to adapt in alignment with our plan, our strategy, our goals, our visions. And you'll make those decisions that we talked about on Wednesday in CEO versus CEO Feud. You're going to make those decisions more swiftly because you have prepared. You are going to be a high performing CEO in the low performing business owners and CEOs. I mentioned this week that I've seen some of them around in my town late. I'm like, oh boy, I bet there's some things we could do in your business to help you out. And sometimes they're making money, right? Money is fine, but they're frazzled. They're not living the lifestyle that they dreamed of when they thought about starting up and running their own business. Dentists, doctors, someone nearby runs an organization business, home organization. Right? A photo printing business. I see these business owners and I think, oh, oh, we gotta get you inside the modern CEO. Online business owners. Online business owners especially. This is a space. As we take businesses online more and more and more, it is so easy who to get caught up in that race, that overwhelm, that hustle. If we are online, we're getting hit with all these different ways that we could operate and run our business. And a lot of them are really great ideas, great strategies. But are they the right strategy for you? Is it the strategy that you should be doing right now? You got to embrace the modern CEO path and framework to be able to answer those questions swiftly. And you've got to step into that role to accelerate your growth. I think I got more passionate about this belief that the modern CEO is the role you need to step into when we had the crystal ball exercise this week. And you know, I talk about it as a crystal ball and I talk about predicting your results and I mean it. And when we went through and did that assessment, I was like, oh, my gosh, I can predict. And I ran through those business owners in my head and the performance and the results that they're getting. I'm like, oh, oh, we can predict this. So if you haven't checked that out yet, definitely go back to the crystal ball assessment that we did on Wednesday in Workshop 2 and check that out and you'll see, like, oh, sometimes I'm doing it, sometimes, never. I'm doing those things. We want to get you more to the sometimes, always side. More to the sometimes, always side. It was so eye opening, Tanya. It was so eye opening. And it also really put me. Gave me more perspective as CEO as well, you know, and a former messy marketer in one of my businesses and say, oh, my gosh, if I would have taken this assessment five, seven years ago, strictly with the lens of each business and each role I was playing on, oh, my goodness gracious. Oh, my goodness gracious. But right on time. Now we know and we're crushing it. I mean, truly, you are crushing it. The work that you do every day, you are rushing it. And just imagine, like, oh, it can get better. Yeah, it's hard to believe sometimes. My husband and I had a conversation on. We were in Arizona for my sister's wedding and we took a day after that before we flew back to sit by the pool, just enjoy the sun. And we were reflecting on the life that we have created. We're like, oh, man, it's incredible how we made a decision to create our businesses and run them in a very different way to the old school traditional business owner. And people said, are you sure? Is that really a thing? Is it really going to work? And I knew it was going to work. I knew it was a thing because I've seen other people doing it. Like, how do I make this work for me? And we sat there reflecting on it because we didn't at the time know where we would be living, where we would be moving, but we knew we wanted location independence. We didn't know how that would happen. But I had this inkling that running my own business in this very unique way was the way to do it. And then years later, it was about five years into me starting my businesses and running my businesses that my husband wanted to change jobs that would put us living anywhere around the world. California, Maryland, Maryland, dc, Chicago, Ethiopia. And next up. Currently it's looking like we'll be moving back to Africa this summer, but waiting on a few more details. Before I, like, embody that and lock that into my psyche. I'm preparing and I'm planning, but I'm not fully embodying it yet. I need one more piece of information before I say, okay, go, but otherwise we'll be going somewhere else. And I didn't know. I didn't know where we would be going. Right. I didn't know exactly what that destination looked like. It was a little bit foggy. It was a little bit murky out there. Hopefully I didn't just fog myself up. It was a little bit murky out there. And we started with where we are and we started taking steps toward that and all of the sudden it was unlocked and we got clearer and clearer and clearer and it gets clearer and clearer and then the vision evolves and we dial it in a little bit more and we keep going. So you are pretty fricking great right now. And we have so much more to unlock. And as my husband and I reflected on that, we're like, man, this is nice. We've been working towards this. We've been building towards this. We've been living this location independence the last five, six. How many years has it been now? I'm not sure. And like, all right, what's next? And we were talking about those what's next conversations. And it might include location independence for you. It might include taking my business to the next level. Right. Hitting my first 1000amonth or working through my next million. Right. Whatever that is. We've got to ensure that we have the right frameworks in place for your business and we're going to help with that. Yes. Ethiopia. My husband's job took us to Ethiopia. He is, he's worked for the government for a long while and he made a big shift within the government. Government and the US Government specifically. And oh my gosh, love it. So excited. So excited. My requests for when we knew, okay, like, we're going somewhere, where is it going to be? Where do. Where do we want him to focus? And he learned French, which actually works out pretty well because I did not want to be anywhere too cold, although I, I didn't want to be anywhere too cold. And I had to have Internet. And some French speaking countries can get a little dicey with the Internet. So it puts anything on the table, but those are my requirements. I need Internet and I prefer not to be cold. And he didn't actually use much of his French in Ethiopia and the Internet was questionable sometimes, but it totally worked. It was perfect. Ah. Oh, my gosh. Your husband Sold his company. Oh, my gosh. That's incredible. That is so cool. Wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow. And that's the thing, is we think about the future of your business. Are you building for a freedom business? Are you building for a freedom business? And to sell it. What are we building for? How do we design this? How do we build? And these are the kinds of conversations we have inside the modern CEO. And then we pull through that conversation to what is present for us now and where are we now and what's our next move? Because we got to implement. Yes. Wow. And Burr to Chicago. It's been a fun couple of winters. I'm going to zoom in here in case anyone needs these links as we hang out and catch up. Modern CEO questions. We got you. And book a call with that. Let me go big on this, right? Yeah, I believe it. I believe that. Ah. All right. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna go get a cup, refill this water, and then I am going to refill this coffee, get some lunch, get some sunshine, and then I will be back to see if you sent me any questions over@amber mckee.com forward/modern CEO and I will reply. And I cannot wait to see you inside the modern CEO with this. I hope you had an amazing. Have an amazing weekend plan. We'll put on the calendar every time we're going to go live so you can see it on your calendar as well. And we're gonna make some magic next week. And we are definitely making some magic inside the modern CEO. I love you. I adore you. Thank you for spending your time here with me. It does not go unnoticed and there is a lot of feeling here that you spent so much time with us this week creating your plan for profit and scale. We're going to make some magic. We're going to have a good weekend. I hope you have an amazing weekend and I'll see you on Monday. So much love, Trudy. You are so welcome. All the love is gonna be good. See, I can't leave. I just. I. There's so much good stuff happening. I teeter on that introvert, extrovert line. I am a little slow sometimes to make my way to the party. Should we really go? Do I really have to go? What should I wear? And then I get there. I never want to leave. It's a problem. It's a problem. I love you. I love you. It's good. We're right on time. And I'll see you in the group next week and inside the modern CEO. Bye.
