A short YouTube video by Andrew Lamb promoting Fiesta Days in Vacaville and offering Northern California real-estate resources. Lamb introduces his MLS-backed "Search all homes" tool (listings updated every five minutes) and a free automated home value report, then describes Fiesta Days as a multi-day celebration of western/cowboy heritage. He gives a brief history (origins in a 1916 Vacaville Pageant Day; Western Fiesta begun in July 1957; this is the 58th year) and lists typical events (parade, beauty pageant, diaper derby, carnival, barbecue, jail contest, food eating contest). He invites local residents and visitors to attend and to contact him for schedule or questions.

Hey, Andrew Lam here. Today we're going to be talking about Fiesta Days in Vacaville. What is it and why should you care? Hey, thanks for joining us on the video blog again. Of course, we wanted to direct your attention to a couple of free resources for you. If you're looking to buy a home in Northern California, feel free to click the Search all homes link. It's basically a backstage pass to the mls. You can see everything available, updated every five minutes. And if you're looking to sell a home here in Northern California or you just want to know what it's worth in today's market, go ahead and click the free home Value report link. And that will take you to an immediate automated valuation of your home, much more accurate than Zillow's estimate. And you can actually interact with that. And as you add features to your home, watch the property value change in real time. And if you have any questions about that, of course, give us a call. We'd love to set up a smart home buying strategy or smart home selling strategy for to let you know the best timing and pricing to get you the best price and terms possible. Now back to Fiesta Days. What is it and why should you care? Basically, Fiesta Days is a week long event. Basically this year it's from May 21st through 25th, where we just celebrate our Western, Western heritage. So it actually started this is the 58th year, so it started in July 1957, but the history of it actually goes back before that. In 1916, Vacaville held what was called Vacaville Pageant Day. And I believe that was April 30, 1916, and that continued every year. But for some reason the Dixon Mayfair would get a whole bunch of press. The Solano County Fair would get a lot of press. But no one seemed to write about Vacaville except for the Vacaville's newspaper, the reporter. So we really wanted our own fair and in 1957 started the Western Fiesta, which was one day of events more of a rodeo and celebrating the cowboy heritage of Vacaville. But as we have continued on through the years and added more and more events, of course it went from one day to two to three. And now it's, you know, May 21st through 25th. So we actually have a parade, a beauty pageant, a diaper derby, a carnival, a big barbecue, a jail contest, a food eating contest. We have so much and it's really just a lot of fun. It's a great weekend to come out and be with family and friends. And if you don't live here in Vacaville, I invite you to come and check it out. If you live in Fairfield or Dixon, come on in. We'd love to have you and we'd love to have you experience all the fun we have here in najackaville. If you have any questions or would like to see the full schedule, we have that below for you. And definitely feel free to reach out with any questions or comments. Or just let us know how much you love Fiesta Days and kind of your family's history with it, if you've been coming since you were three years old, or if you just moved to Vacaville and you love it and we'd love to hear from you. Thanks and have a great day.
