Hey, Andrew Lamb here with remax and just wanted to share a helpful tip and a tool with you that I use every single day to help me be more successful. And you know, one thing that I've noticed among successful people, among successful real estate agents is that those who really manage their time well seem to make more money every single year. So something that I try to do every single day is manage my calendar and manage my time and I use a specific tool for that and that is the dominate your day planner right here. So I am actually giving you a copy of this and just wanted to go through it quickly so you know how to best use it to plan out your day and really get the dollar productive activities that you need to do. Those things that generate business and get you closings every single day and put those first, prioritize them so that you're not constantly reacting to kind of the chaos that is the real estate transaction. So Whether you're in one transaction right now or 10, managing your time will really determine how successful you are in that process. So one cool thing about this dominate your day when you're a week sheet is that it has a project focus, a three project focus that really lets you determine what you're going to put your mind to throughout the week. And if you accomplish those three things, you should be much closer to your goals. And of course we should be setting goals every quarter, every month. But how we manage to accomplish those goals really depends on what we put in our calendar and accomplish every day. So I love the three project focus here. And also you can separate out your day based on the top six things that you need to get done. The top six money making activities. So the first two are typically the things that make us the most money, which generally that's bringing in new business or prospecting, prospecting and then any type of follow up with any current business. The bottom four can be anything from negotiating a price reduction to, you know, setting appointments with follow up appointments with someone you need to show homes to because they didn't find one that they loved the first time around. So anything that really gets us into contract, makes us money or gets us closer to a closing needs to go here. And the other stuff like responding email or you know, scheduling inspections should be something that you do later on in the day. It's really important to focus on the hardest things to do at the beginning of the day when you actually have the energy and you're not interrupted by the whim of everyone else. Email and phone calls and text messages happen to all of us in real estate. But how we manage that and how we respond to those really determines what we get done throughout the day. And then finally, on the bottom here, you see the action item list, which are those little things you need to do, like schedule inspections. You don't want to forget them. So I always plan this out in the beginning of the day. Typically when I get into the office around 8 or 8:30, write out everything that I need to do, and then at the end of the day, and this is huge for us in sales, a positive focus, really. Beginning in gratitude. That's what Go Big stands for. Big beginning, gratitude. And recording our wins for the day. It's so easy in real estate to get depressed, dragged down by just the drama of all of our clients and whatever comes up. So it's really important to actually, at the end of the day, record the wins record what made you feel good. If it was nothing but, you know, making your bed in the morning or getting a latte at Starbucks, write that down so that at the end of the day you realize you did make some forward progress and you did have some good moments. So, yeah, that's it. If you have any questions, definitely give me a call. But I use this every single day to make sure that I time block my calendar, I accomplish the things that I need to get done, and then, you know, I'm one step closer to my goals every single day.
