Data analysts say AI is automating the boring parts of their jobs, like translating questions into SQL queries. They want to focus on harder work: cleaning and transforming data so others can use it. The real value isn't in the repetitive stuff.
I've been joining some meetups in Taiwan and some of the attendees are data analysts or engineers, and one of their complaints is that it seems like they are just SQL compilers in the company because a large portion of their job is just to compile natural language to SQL and retract results to the users.
And they.
Believe that their focus could be focused on more important things like transform data into a more clean state to be able to reuse in different ways.
I think AI is doing a great job of taking over some of the competitive operations. Like I just said, some of the tiny tweaks, variations between some of the data insights, I think RAIN AI or AI in general can do a lot of work.
William, do you have anything to add? Yeah, sure. I think fundamental work should be handled by human.
