A brief conversational exchange from a YouTube video by Angelina Yang exploring whether AI can review AI-generated code. Participants discuss that generated code must run, but also needs to be reusable, maintainable, and efficient; they raise concerns about trusting AI-to-AI review and emphasize human oversight.
If you're supposed to enhance the code base by developing more code. So you do use the generation piece and then can you measure by running the code and then see if it works or not?
It has to run. That's one aspect of it. But reusability, maintainability and efficiency. Maybe it generates something, but it's slow. You don't necessarily want that. Right.
You do like AI agents do some reviews based on best practices.
But again, this is. But again, challenging because the code is generated by AI and you want to give it to another AI, basically revisit that.
Yeah.
You cannot necessarily trust the results.
Are people doing that?
Definitely. It's been used. Yes. There need to be some human in the loop here. You cannot simply 100% rely on AI. You need to keep your AI underlying.
