So here's how I think about adding new tools to my tech stack as a solopreneur. And I should start by saying I pay for a lot of tools. I probably pay for 15 plus tools every month. And this weekend I was trying out a new one. I was trying out Loom AI and it could turn my video into a written help text, which is great for what I was trying to create. So when I look at adding something new, and in this case something like 16 bucks a month, I ask myself, how much time is this going to save me? Is it going to save me more than an hour? Is it going to save me more than half an hour? If so, then it's a pretty easy yes because my time is worth something. So if the tool saves me even a little bit of time, then it's worth the extra cost because I can put that time into something more valuable for my business.
