A YouTube channel hit 100,000 subscribers in two months by spamming comments on other videos, never uploading anything. It grew from 150 subs in early February to 100k by April 9, but can't earn money or avoid a ban without actual videos.

What's up guys, I wanna start off this video by challenging you to a game of rock-paper-scissors. Uh, 3 annotations, take your pick, see if you win. Hopefully you enjoy. So, uh, now we're gonna be talking about this channel that has been leaving comments on tons of videos and has never uploaded a video and has managed to achieve the goal of 100,000 subscribers on YouTube without uploading a video. Now think about that, they have zero videos on their channel but have over 100,000 subscribers. It's ridiculous. And I'll go ahead and say this, I was subscribed to them since like they had 7,000. I'm a huge supporter of this project. I think it's really interesting. A lot of people, they see this and they're like, I upload every day, I have hundreds of videos, and I only have, you know, X amount of subscribers. I see this and I think it's really cool. I'm a supporter of it. I'm proud of this guy for taking the time to do this. And in case you're wondering how long it took him to climb to 100,000, he started on February 3rd and he got 150 subscribers. By March 2nd, so just, you know, a little under a month, he had 10,000 subscribers in the first month. He gained 10,000 subs, and by the end of March he had 50,000 subs. So in the second month he gained 40,000 subscribers, and then April 9th he hit 100,000 subscribers. So that was like 2 months— wow, I just started, but I don't feel like starting over. 2 months he gained 100,000 subscribers without uploading a video. Now granted, it was spam through comment sections, and you know, I hate spam, it's really annoying, but I don't know, this I'm okay with. I think it's really entertaining And it's really cool to me. I don't know, I just, I thought it was really unique and a really original idea to try to get 100,000 subscribers without ever uploading a video. That's not even the best part. He's recently stated that he's gonna change his channel name from 100K to 1 million subscribers with no videos. That's ridiculous. And personally, I don't think he can achieve that goal. And my main reason is he's gonna get banned soon. He has to get banned soon. He's completely building his whole channel off of spam, which is completely against YouTube's terms of service. I mean, you can click on comments and report it for spam, and I'm sure hundreds of his comments have been reported for spam. There's no way they haven't been. I mean, thou— literally 100,000 people have subscribed to him, so hundreds of thousands of people have seen his comments, and I know a lot of them have been reported, and I feel like it's just moments till he gets banned. But that's just my opinion. But if he does keep growing at the same rate he is now, and just every month, you know, just doubling what he got the month before, I mean, he's gonna be at a million subscribers in like 3 or 4 months. It's ridiculous how fast he's growing. But personally, I feel like he's gonna get banned any day now. I don't see how he cannot get banned. It's ridiculous the amount of videos that his comment is the top comment and just how, you know, he spammed all of YouTube. I mean, that's completely against the terms of service. But anyways, I'm gonna go ahead and wrap this up. No, he's not making any money. Obviously he can't. He doesn't have any videos, so he doesn't have anything to put ads on. And I don't know why people think this, but you don't get paid when people subscribe to you. The only way he's gonna get money is if he ever uploads, and he claims he's never ever under any circumstances ever gonna put a video up on that channel. He's never gonna change the name of the channel, uh, to something else and start uploading. He said he's going for a million subs and he's never gonna let a video get uploaded to that channel, which is pretty cool. Um, I honestly, if I was him, I would do what everyone else is saying, just change the name and start uploading. I mean, who cares? Put ads on them videos, you'd make some money. It'd draw a lot of attention, uh, to your channel because everyone would be talking about it. But it's up to him. And it's also been stated that he probably won't get a YouTube plaque button, but because apparently they review channels before they send them, and since he doesn't have any videos to review, he probably won't receive a YouTube plaque that you get when you hit 100,000 subscribers. So I think that's pretty much everything. I don't want to drag the video out too long. Let me just wrap it up by saying this: it's ridiculous how he got 100,000 subscribers without uploading a video, and I just I don't know, it shows the power of spam, I guess. Even though you shouldn't spam, it's bad, that shows the power of spam. And since he doesn't have videos for people to dislike, it doesn't matter if people don't like his spam. There's not much they can do about it because apparently YouTube doesn't want to ban him. So that's pretty much everything. Woo! Yes, it's true.
