In this video, the creator responds to frequent comments doubting that top YouTubers earn millions. He explains that ad‑based monetization on YouTube can generate substantial revenue when a channel accumulates billions of views. Citing Social Blade’s earnings estimates, he lists several high‑profile creators—PewDiePie, Eminem, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Machinima—showing annual incomes ranging from $800 K to over $10 M. He argues that the top 100 YouTubers each make more than $1 M per year, and that this wealth comes from the platform’s ad ecosystem rather than traditional hard work. The speaker then encourages aspiring creators, emphasizing consistency (daily uploads), patience, and the fact that a college degree isn’t required to succeed on YouTube. The overall goal is to motivate small creators and clarify that the reported earnings are realistic.

¡Hola! So I used to make these videos where I would talk about how much big YouTubers make, and they all get a ton of views, and I've kind of steered away from making those types of videos, but I still get comments on them all the time saying there's no way YouTubers make that much money, how PewDiePie's making millions, Vanoss, all these other big YouTubers, that there's no way they're making millions of dollars. And you know, they really are. And I feel like a lot of people think I just make up the numbers and stuff in my video— videos. But you know, when you're putting ads before your videos and you have billions of views stretched across your channel, you're gonna make a lot of money. It's just— I mean, that's just how the world works. People pay to put ads on it, and when you're getting billions of views, you you're gonna rack up tons of money. And I'm just gonna scroll down the top YouTubers and just tell you how much Social Blade says they're making, 'cause Social Blade's pretty accurate when it tells you how much they're making. Social Blade says PewDiePie's making between like $7 and $10 million a year. It says Eminem's making between $5 and $6 million a year off YouTube. It says Rihanna is making between $4 to $6 million a year off YouTube. Uh, let me find some gaming-related channels, not just singers. Says Machinima's making between $800,000 to $1 million a year. Obviously though, they partner other channels and make money off of everyone else. Says Katy Perry is making between $4 and $5 million a year, and yada yada yada. All these big YouTube channels, um, I know people don't believe this because people leave comments on my videos all the time saying there's no way they make that much money, but like the top 100 YouTubers, they're making more than $1 million a year. They are getting rich off YouTube. And that's one of the reasons why I'd encourage you to upload. I've made some money off YouTube. Anyone can. You just, you know, it's a little bit of luck, but a lot of it's just sticking with it and having the desire to want to actually grow on YouTube. But if you upload daily, you're bound to get somewhere eventually. And I just wanted to— I don't know, I felt the need to make this video because a lot of people— I've already said this enough, but a lot of people have left comments saying there's no way those big YouTubers are making millions of dollars a year. And you can go on Social Blade, look at their statistics They legitimately are making millions of dollars a year off of uploading videos to the internet, not really doing hard work at all. And, uh, you don't need a college degree or anything to get big on YouTube. You just need a will and some patience. So hopefully this motivates you if you're a small YouTuber, or if you have ever considered starting YouTube. It is possible, and if you do make it as one of the big YouTubers, it is really rewarding if, uh, you become successful on YouTube. So that's pretty much everything. I just wanted to clarify some things.
