In this unsponsored video, the creator—who admits he knows nothing about PCs—recommends a $500 desktop that he describes as a "beast" for YouTube creators. He demonstrates that the machine can run Sony Vegas, After Effects, and Photoshop simultaneously without lag, handle games like League of Legends and other MOBAs, and produce thumbnails. The PC comes with a mouse and a decent gaming keyboard, eliminating the need for expensive peripherals. He notes that while the system handles casual gaming well, recording demanding games with Fraps causes noticeable FPS drops; using less demanding software like OBS or recording at lower resolutions mitigates the issue. He cautions that the PC is not ideal for recording fullscreen first‑person shooters but is perfectly suited for typical YouTube editing and light gaming workflows. A link to the exact build is provided in the description, and he emphasizes that he receives no commission.

If you clicked on this video, you're probably interested in buying a cheap PC that can make quality YouTube videos, and I'm here to tell you that I have a good solution for that. But I must start off this video by saying I know nothing about PCs. Wait, what? Beast, you're making a video recommending what PC we should buy, but you don't know anything about PCs? That is exactly correct, my friends. But what I do know, and this is not a sponsored video, is this PC right beside me is a beast when it comes to YouTube, okay? It can run Sony Vegas, it can run After Effects, and it can run Photoshop all at the same time with no lag. And it can do some, you know, pretty good things. I'm not just talking about making your normal commentaries. I have different types of videos on this channel that require a little bit of rendering and, you know, editing and stuff like that. And I can run all three of these programs at the same time with no lag. And that's really good for a PC that's priced in the $500. That's actually really good. I'm like really surprised that this thing does everything I need it to do, and it's over a year old now, and just how well it does all that. I was not expecting that for $500. So if you're a YouTuber and you've been making your videos on your laptop, or you're looking to become a YouTuber, you don't need to drop $1,000 on a new desktop PC, you know, whatever, to be able to render videos and do all this. This PC is $500, and may I say It includes this mouse, which I still use. I love this mouse, actually. And the keyboard's, you know, kind of standard, but you don't need this $100 Razer keyboard and, you know, $80 mouse. This stuff comes with the PC. It's still priced in the $500 range, and I love this mouse. I definitely love the mouse. And the keyboard, I mean, it's above average. I like it. It's a really good gaming keyboard for the price. And just, I can't say— I don't know anything about PCs. All I know is the one I have right here, which there's a link to in the description— I'm not getting paid commission or anything— It's priced around $500, and it does everything I need it to in terms of YouTube. It can run League of Legends flawless, it can render videos, it can make thumbnails. If you're just looking to get a PC for YouTube and you want one cheap, I can recommend this one in that it will do everything you need. Now, I'm not gonna try to sit here and talk about this PC like it's the best thing ever. I used to play a game called Warface a lot on this PC, and as long as I was not recording, there was no lag, okay? So keep that in mind. When I was not recording, if you're just, you know, playing for fun, there was zero lag. And then when I had Fraps on it— now keep in mind, Fraps is a really demanding recording software— I noticed a little bit of frame difference, like here and there, but I could still play the game. It was still bearable. And the, you know, the quality of the recording and stuff was good. Most of the reason was I shouldn't have been recording with Fraps, but I did notice a little bit of an SPF— FPS drop, sorry about that. But as long as you're not recording a game, you can play first-person shooters flawless. When you're recording with Fraps, it's a little bit laggy, but if you do OBS, which isn't as demanding, you can get some good quality stuff out of it. Just the biggest thing is that's if you're playing fullscreen. Like, the way games work is you can play it windowed. So if you play it in only like a 720p window, just, you know, shrink it down to 720p, then you can play a game flawless and you can record with it. But you, you cannot play first-person shooters fullscreen and record them with this PC. And yeah, but for me and for a lot of other YouTubers, we record gameplay from our PS4 for that, you know, so that's not a problem. But I'm not going to try to sit here and overhype the computer. If you're trying to, you know, get into first-person shooters on the PC and record it, this might not be the PC for you. But if you want a PC where you can— all you want is Sony Vegas, After Effects, you know, Photoshop, you know, League of Legends, games like that, MOBAs, then this is the perfect PC. It runs all that really well. And you can, you know, this is my own League of Legends footage. So there you go, that's the PC in a nutshell. Really good for a YouTuber. And hopefully I gave you all the information you'd want about it. Link to it's in the description.
