In this solo update video, the creator explains why there was no upload the previous day (a friend's birthday) and outlines his recent channel performance and future strategy. He notes a gain of about 140 subscribers in the past month despite only two weeks of active uploading, and sets a goal to expand his audience ahead of the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts release. He argues that Black Ops 2 is saturated, making it hard to stand out, whereas Ghosts will generate fresh search traffic that he hopes to capitalize on. Although 90% of his current views and subscribers come from three popular Minecraft videos, he expresses a loss of interest in Minecraft and a renewed focus on Call of Duty content. He plans to acquire a PVR (either borrowed or purchased) to improve video quality, reduce filler words, and deliver professional commentary for Ghosts. The video also includes brief gameplay clips from Cove and Nuketown, and ends with a thank‑you to his modest but appreciated audience, encouraging continued subscriptions and engagement.

What is going on, guys? Let me start off this video by saying I didn't make a video yesterday because I was at my friend's house. It was his birthday. I spent the night and yeah, I had gameplay and everything, but you know, doing a commentary at your friend's house is a little weird. So I didn't upload a video. I tried to do a video every day, but every other day is pretty much my minimum. So that's pretty much that. You're watching a hardcore gameplay. I was pub stomping. I think I had a friend in the lobby. And that's pretty much that. So I would kind of just want to talk about the future of my channel, what I'm going to be uploading, this, that, yadda yadda. And yes, so pretty much in the past month I've gained 140 subscribers. I just, just checked my analytics or whatever, and that's pretty good, especially because I've only been uploading actively for like 2 weeks or whatever. And I just— my goal as of right now is to build as big of a following as I can going into Ghosts. And just get as many subscribers and viewers as I can. And then when Ghosts comes out, I'm just hoping I explode, I take off. And it's pretty much impossible to be original in Black Ops 2 because the game's 8 months old. Everything that can be done has been done. But when Ghosts comes out, people are going to be searching for the game. A lot of people won't have it yet. They're going to be wondering, should I buy it, should I not? And there's just going to be so many cool things you can do that haven't been done that people will search for, and it'll be a lot easier to get noticed. So I'm just trying to build a following going into Ghost, and then I hope I just take off in Ghost and maybe get a couple thousand subscribers or whatnot. But yeah, because as of right now, 90% of my views and subscribers are actually coming from my Minecraft videos, but I pretty much don't enjoy Minecraft anymore, so I don't upload it. That's pretty much that. I really like COD again, So I'm making a lot of COD videos, and maybe if I, you know, get back into Minecraft, I might upload a little bit more of that. But I have 3 Minecraft videos with over 1,000 views, and those 3 videos pretty much bring in all my views and all my subscribers. But as I already said, I'm not really enjoying Minecraft, so even though I think I would get more views and get bigger a lot faster if I did do Minecraft, I'm not really having that much fun. So yeah. That's pretty much that. And yeah, I don't know, I just, I hope, you know, my channel grows a lot faster and I actually get somewhere in Ghosts, because I, I plan on getting a PVR soon. I have a friend that doesn't upload and has a PVR, and if he would give me his PVR, that would mean the world to me. And if he decides not to give it to me, then I'm just gonna buy my own PVR, because when Call of Duty Ghosts comes out I want my commentaries to be really good. I'm gonna work on not saying "um" and not, you know, losing my train of thought in the middle of a sentence. And then I'm also gonna try to have PVR quality because you can tell that I record with the Raxio, it's a little bit blurrier. And yeah, I just want my videos to be, you know, as professional as possible when Ghost comes out. And I'm hoping my channel just, you know, takes off and I actually get somewhere with YouTube. So, pshh, I I don't, I don't really know what else I planned on talking about. I just wanted to kind of give a mini update video, let you know what's going on with my channel. As you can see, the gameplay switched. It was Cove and now it's gameplay on Nuketown. Just threw something random in there. And yeah, that's pretty much it. Just the plans for my channel. And hopefully you guys stay subscribed and keep watching my videos. I do appreciate all the support I get. The little support I get. What? Well, I didn't mean it like that. Like, I appreciate everyone who likes my videos and all that. When I said the little support, I didn't— I don't want to sound like, you know, I'm mad or not satisfied with the views I get. For just starting off, it's pretty good. So anyways, thanks for watching. Hope you stay subscribed and stay active, and I'll see you later.
