A creator mocks the desperate YouTuber playbook by launching a fake shoutout contest. He admits he needs subscribers because his 2,000 existing ones barely watch anything, so he's spamming people to fake engagement numbers. The whole thing is a joke about how creators manipulate viewers into subscribing.

Hey, welcome to my Honest Shoutout Sunday series. This is a series that many small desperate YouTubers do every Sunday. And before we go any further, I gotta mention the winners from last week. In first place, we have Mr. I'm Desperate for Views. In second place, we have I Would Sell My Left Nipples for Subscribers. And in third place, we have I Only Clicked on the Link Because You Would Not Stop Freaking Spamming Me, So Why Not Enter the Shoutout Sunday? So yeah, make sure you go subscribe to all the winners. I know only about 3 of you are gonna go subscribe. And then you're gonna unsubscribe by tomorrow. I mean, we all know the only reason I'm doing this is so I can be selfish and gain subscribers myself. We don't really care about the winners. I'm just doing that to make people feel good and, you know, as an excuse to have people subscribe to me. Oh, and by the way, if you want to be entered to win next week, make sure you subscribe. You have to subscribe. Even though I don't know if you're subscribed to me, you have to subscribe to win. You have to like to win. You have to favorite to win. You have to comment to win on every one of my videos. Like every one of my videos. Go subscribe to my second channel, favorite every video and sell your soul, and then you can, you know, enter in for a chance to win next week. And if you win next week, I mean, you might gain an entire subscriber, maybe even 2 if you're lucky, and they might actually subscribe for more than a day. I don't really know. Like I said earlier, the whole point of this is for me to gain subscribers. I'm really just using this to use you guys. I don't really care about you guys. So yeah, make sure you subscribe to the winners. And who am I kidding, we don't care about them. Just subscribe to me because as you can tell, I'm doing a Shoutout Sunday series So that means I'm really desperate for subscribers. So just subscribe to me. Um, subscribe. Did I forget to mention that you should subscribe? And, uh, yeah, so my mom wants me to go food shopping in a couple hours, so I have to end the video here because I have to spam hundreds of people because I got all my 2,000 subscribers off of Shoutout Sundays, so none of them are active. So I have to make up for that by spamming people so it looks like I have active subscribers, even though I don't have active subscribers. But I have to make it look like I have active subscribers so people will subscribe to me so they'll want to win the Shoutout Sunday series. And since I have to go in a couple hours, it usually takes me like 1 to 2 hours to spam enough people to get enough views on this video so it actually looks like I have subscribers, even though I don't have subscribers. Oh, did I mention that you should subscribe to me? Subscribe to me. Who cares about the winners? Just subscribe. So yeah, if I did spam you on Skype with this video, you should subscribe. And that's my Shoutout Sundays series. Don't forget that you should sell your soul, comment on all my videos, you know, favorite them all and like them all, and you can win next week and gain 2 subscribers. Yeah, this video is totally not pointless. I hate Shoutout Sundays with a passion. That's pretty much the video. Make sure you unplug your mouse from your PS4, plug it into your PC, charge your phone, charge your lamp, charge your house, charge your favorite t-shirt, make sure you don't spill barbecue sauce on it when you're at a party. But who are we kidding? You don't go outside. You don't know what a party is. Don't kill squirrels, kill deer. You can kill bears for the next couple of days. Don't kill dogs. And make sure during a tornado storm you stay away from windows because, you know, windows can shatter and throw glass at you. No one wants to get cut with glass. Then you're gonna have to go to the ER, and that's— yeah, that's just not fun. So make sure you stay away from windows. Stay away from anything that could fly around for that matter. And unplug your stuff in a lightning storm. And meth equals death, do not eat— yeah, yeah, no meth. Bye.
