Not too long ago, I did a video where I talked about how many people get the Diamond Play Button. And to my surprise, like literally I was not expecting this, that video got over half a million views and is currently my most viewed video. And obviously because that video got so many views, I'm gonna make one on every other play button because let's be honest, I want another half a million views. So obviously you get the Silver Play Button at 100,000 subscribers, and what's special about this award is it's actually achievable for many people, like 10 million subscribers, the diamond play button, that's ridiculous. You know, very few people are ever going to get that. A million subscribers, that's still really far away. The golden play button, that's going to be hard to get. But 100,000 subscribers, if you're being honest, you know, anyone who's determined and doesn't give up can reach 100,000 subscribers. And that's what's special about this award. So anyways, I'm just going to cut right to the point and tell you guys how many people have the silver play button, AKA how many YouTubers have over 100,000 subscribers. And the answer is 19,194 people. Have over 100,000 subscribers. Over 19,000 people— It's over 9,000! —have over 100,000 subscribers. That is a lot of people. That's almost 20,000 people have the Silver Play Button. Let's take this video one step further and let's say for some wild reason you don't want to upload YouTube videos but you want a Silver Play Button. Well, you're in luck because there are actually websites that sell subscribers. Like, you can literally go on websites, pay them money, and they'll subscribe to you with multiple accounts. And you can buy 1,000 subscribers for $61. So if you were to buy that 1,000 subscriber package 100 times, you could buy 100,000 subscribers for $6,100. Yes, so just over $6,000 to get you to 100K subs and to get you this, uh, uh, Silver Play Button. Obviously though, if you did that, YouTube would probably ban you, but hey, you know, at least you could— you'd have a chance of getting it. Probably not, you, you definitely would be banned, but yeah. Knowledge. Now a couple other things I wanted to mention is when you hit 100,000 subscribers, it doesn't just pop up in your mailbox. YouTube will send you an email asking for the address you want it shipped to and asking for the name you want on it. And then after you respond to that email, it still takes 8 to 12 weeks. That's why some people hit 100K subs but don't get their video uploaded till they have 150K or even 200K subs. It is because it takes YouTube 8 weeks to ship it after you reply to their email. To be honest, I don't think it's that unrealistic for me to receive a Silver Play Button in 2016. I don't know, maybe you guys think that's cocky. I think there's a really good chance I'll hit 100K subs next year. And just the last 30 days alone, I've gotten 600,000 views, I've gained 3,000 subscribers. I'm really happy with the way this channel is growing. I really do appreciate it. And yeah, anyways, if you like the video, like it, subscribe to help me get closer to getting this. And this, this TV right here is It was on, I don't know what happened, I just noticed it's off. I, uh, was this off the whole time? I really don't know. Um, that's weird because it was supposed to say, if you read this, thumbs up, and that's a thumb. I don't know. Uh, so yeah, do what that said if it was ever on. I thought it was on this whole time. And bye! I missed, I was supposed to hit the camera, and that fell.
