Chris Smoove got roughly 23 million YouTube views last month. At a conservative $1 per thousand views, that's about $23,000 monthly or $276,000 yearly. Ad blockers and skipping have pushed effective CPM down from the $1.50 to $2 rates used in earlier estimates.

Wow, you're making one of those videos again where you talk about how much big YouTubers make just so you can get easy views. You're so horrible, why do you even upload to YouTube? What's up guys, today I'm gonna be talking about how much Chris Smoove makes off YouTube, and he's a guy who plays like sports video games like Madden and NBA 2K14, 15, whatever it is. I don't really watch Chris Smoove, but it is something that's been recommended a lot. It was recommended by this comment and a couple other ones. So I decided why not, even though I don't really watch him, I could just, you know, put it out there how much he makes, you know, because I'm sure this video will get a decent amount of views because he's quite a big YouTuber. Oh, before I get into this, I was at the gym— not the gym, I was at a Dick's buying some clothes, some workout clothes, and I was walking out and this guy who was parked beside me shut his door. And as soon as he shut his door to his car, he immediately started pulling on it, trying to open it, but his car was locked. And the guy who parked beside me locked his keys inside of his car. And I don't know why, it was just hilarious to watch. It was just really funny. I don't know why, but he just like started looking in and I actually saw the keys sitting on the chair and all the doors were locked. And then he just started panicking. And then I, uh, as I was leaving, I saw him pull out his phone and just, he was pasting so much. It was really funny because I saw him shut the door and And the second he shut his car door, he immediately started jerking on it, and he was like, "Crap, I just locked my keys in my car." But anyways, back on topic, back to Chris Smoove. So pretty much, I'll just go ahead and throw it all out there. We're already a minute and a half into the video. He got 23 million views last month, which that is a lot of views, especially for like sports, like someone who uploads sports games. I didn't really think they were that big, but if you're getting 23 million views a month, obviously something's working for him. And, uh, what he's uploading's gotta be pretty good. So that comes out to $23,000 last month that he makes. So he's making $23,000 roughly a month. Obviously I'm using a $1 CPM, so every 1,000 views is $1, every million views is $1,000. So 23 million views is $23,000. In previous videos I used higher CPMs, which means like for every 1,000 views I calculated that they got like $2 or $1.50. But in all reality, because adblocker is becoming so popular and people just skip ads a lot, it's more like $1 per 1,000 views right now. So it's not hard to do the math anymore. If they have 1 million views, that's $1,000 they earned. If they have 23 million views, that's $23,000. So pretty much like I just said, math now to calculate YouTubers' earnings is so easy that a monkey could probably do it. So that's pretty much that. He's making $23,000 a month. And if you further multiply that, that's $276,000 per year. That is a lot of money. And for some reason, I just tried to think about what I would buy if I had that kind of money. Um, ugh. I don't know. If I had $276,000 and I was like making that every year, I'm not 100% sure what I'd buy. I probably really wouldn't buy anything. Maybe slightly better car. Nah, I like my car. I don't know what I'd buy if I had that much money. But nonetheless, that is a lot of money. That's just shy of 300 grand a year.. And that's pretty good, especially because I'm using a low CPM when calculating the earnings. So that's pretty much that. Like I said, I don't watch Chris Smoove, so maybe one of my subs is a huge fanboy and appreciates this video. And I just thought about that, um, that guy locking his keys out of his car, or locking his keys inside of his car. It was, it's really hilarious. The second he shut his door, like, his face when he turned around and how he, like, tried to open the door. I don't know. Call me weird for thinking that's funny, but anyways, that's pretty much the whole video. I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. I'm probably all over the place in this video. He's making $23,000 a month and whatever I said earlier, $276,000 per year. And that's pretty much that. Let me know what you think down below.
