What's up guys? Um, earlier this year I did a video— or sorry, actually not earlier this year, last year— I did a video on how much money does PewDiePie make, and it got quite a bit of views. And, um, there was a little bit of controversy on the video, and people didn't think the numbers I said were correct, and the numbers were beginning to get a little bit outdated because PewDiePie is growing so freaking big. Um, he's in the 20 million subscribers now, it's just ridiculous. And anyways, if you take a look at this picture that's going to pop up on your screen right now, this will help you kind of understand where I'm getting my numbers from. As you'll see, Nadeshot generated 10 million views, and those 10 million views got him around— no, sorry, Nadeshot got around 6 million views, and those 6 million views generated him around $10,000. So just take a look at that picture. And that will kind of help you realize that I'm not just throwing out a random number. Every million views you get on YouTube, if you have ads on your video, you'll get around $1,000 to $2,000, maybe even a little bit above $2,000. Depends if you have premium ads or standard auction ads or, you know, whatever. But every million views you get on YouTube, if you're using ads, you're going to generate at least $1,000+ in income, which is pretty cool. It really shows the power of internet advertising and how awesome YouTube is. And PewDiePie is getting around 7.5 million views per day. He uploads a video every day and his videos always get like a million views. And then between all the other videos on his channel, he is generating 7.5 million views per day. And as you remember in the picture before, Nate Shot was getting 6 million views and he generated $10,000. PewDiePie is getting more than 6 million views a day. So PewDiePie is making well over $10,000 a day, and, uh, if my numbers are correct, he's making around $13,000-$14,000 a day, which is in the $100,000 a month and millions upon millions of dollars a year. And, uh, PewDiePie is a great guy, and obviously we all know he didn't start his channel with money in mind, because if you watch his older videos, you can tell he enjoys making videos and he does it for fun. And obviously he gives a decent amount of his money away to charity, and he does a ton of charity livestreams and things like that. But, um, I just want to clear things up because my other video, tons of people were commenting that I just made up that number or that it wasn't true. But as you remember that picture, Nadeshot got, uh, 6 million views and $10,000. PewDiePie gets more than 6 million views a day, and PewDiePie probably has premium ads and has a higher CPM and a lower revenue share and all that other good stuff. But, um, yeah, it's pretty insane how many views PewDiePie gets per day. And just the fact that he has 20+ million subscribers is just ridiculous and it blows my mind. And ad blockers are on the rise, so, um, you know, people don't make as much money as they used to because now like 40% of your views— or 30 to 40% of your views— people use ad blockers, which I don't blame people. I mean, if you don't want to watch ads, you know, Why watch them? You know, just download ad blockers, not that hard. But that really puts a dent in a lot of people's earnings is ad blocker. And then certain people, their phones don't display ads. A lot of people nowadays— or not nowadays, with the new YouTube update for mobile, it shows ads on their phone. But still, there are a lot of old phones out there that don't show ads either. And so ad blockers and old phones do subtract a lot of money from people's earnings. Anyways, PewDiePie is making around $13,000 a day, a couple hundred thousand dollars a year— I mean a month— and a couple million dollars a year. And I just wanted to kind of update, do an update video because my old PewDiePie how much PewDiePie makes video— sorry, I'm all over the place right now— my old video about how much PewDiePie makes was getting a little outdated and there was a lot of people saying it wasn't true. But it is true, PewDiePie does make over $10,000 a day. And that's pretty much that. Hope you enjoyed and I'll see you later.
