This is the route you would have to take if you want to go to a high school near Mexico City. A 45-minute, 6-mile hike in complete darkness. Yuliana is one of the students forced to take this risk without access to a proper high school. She has to do this every night while others are forced to stay home without an education. This is the reality for hundreds of kids just like her in this area and millions more all across Mexico. So that's why we partnered with the Televisa Foundation to construct a brand new school for Yuliana and her community and a brand new soccer field so the students can stay healthy in and outside of the classroom. Now Juliana can go to school every single day safely. If you want to watch more about how we help kids not just in Mexico but across the world, go watch our new video.
