In this informal YouTube commentary, the host examines Jacksepticeye’s channel statistics—approximately 4 million subscribers, 1.3 billion lifetime views, daily gains of 16 k subscribers and 8 million views—and uses these figures to estimate his earnings at over $200 k per month, roughly $2.5 million annually. The narrative emphasizes the pivotal role of a PewDiePie shoutout in catapulting Jacksepticeye’s growth, arguing that without it he would have remained a modest channel. What's up guys, hopefully you're having a nice day. I'm gonna start off this video by challenging you to a game of rock-paper-scissors, so 3 annotations, take your pick. Do not click all 3, I hate people who do that. Just pick one and, you know, accept your fate. You know, don't— you can't choose your destiny in life, so don't click all 3 annotations, okay? It makes perfect sense. But anyways, I'm gonna be talking about how much Jacksepticeye makes off YouTube, and in case you don't know, he has 4 million subscribers, 1.3 billion views, and And I'm gonna sound like a hipster when I say this, but I was actually subscribed to him before PewDiePie gave him a shoutout. So I was subscribed to Jacksepticeye when he had less than 3,000 subscribers, pretty much at the point where I'm at right now. So if you're subscribed to me right now and then I shoot up to 4 million subscribers, that's pretty much how I was with Jacksepticeye. I was subscribed to him, I didn't really watch his videos because I'm not into that type of stuff, but I just was subscribed to him, I don't know why. And then, uh, he got featured on PewDiePie's channel. Took off and, you know, YouTube became his job. And it really shows you the power of a shoutout. You know, if PewDiePie gives anyone a shoutout, YouTube instantly becomes their job. They instantly become famous enough where they can quit their job and do YouTube. I mean, PewDiePie literally has the power to change anyone's life just by giving them a shoutout on YouTube. But nonetheless, we're gonna move on to how much he makes off YouTube, and I'll run you through his stats real quick. He gains 16,000 subscribers every single day. So like, I don't even have 2,000 and he's gaining 16,000 a day, which is 470,000 a month, almost half a million subscribers a month, which is almost 6 million subscribers a year. That is ridiculous. And then his views is 8 million views a day and 240 million views a month, which that's a ton, that's a lot. So before I say how much money he's making real quick, just kind of getting an idea of how much your parents make in your head. Like your parents probably make somewhere between like 50 and $100,000 a year. We'll just go with that. $50,000 is the national average for America, so somewhere in that range is probably what your parents make. And now here's what I'm about to tell you: Jacksepticeye, off of uploading video games and screaming into his microphone, is getting over $200,000 a month and almost $2.5 million every single year off of playing video games and uploading it to the internet. How does that make you feel? And for a lot of YouTubers, they work to their success, you know, they upload every day for years and they slowly climbed to the hundred thousands and then, you know, the millions. Jacksepticeye, he just got a shoutout from PewDiePie. I hate to degrade him like that, but it's true. If he did not get a shoutout from PewDiePie, he'd be sitting at like 50k subs. I'm just being, you know, brutally honest with you. It's because of that shoutout from PewDiePie that we all know who he is, and that's pretty much everything. Like I said earlier, it shows that, you know, PewDiePie has the power to change anyone's life just by giving them a shoutout on YouTube. I mean, look at the massive amount of money Jacksepticeye is making off YouTube because of that. So I'm gonna go ahead and wrap up the video here. Hopefully you enjoyed. Let me know down below what you thought.
And, uh, just remember: he's making 10 times what your parents are making off of playing video games.
