In this informal vlog, the creator celebrates reaching 2 million total views on his channel and reflects on his YouTube journey. He compares his milestone to larger channels, admits feeling both humbled and proud, and explains why he recorded the video in a raw, unedited style. He recounts quitting YouTube about nine months ago after two years of modest growth (≈1 K subs, a few hundred videos) due to burnout and a busy basketball season. After a month‑long hiatus, supportive comments encouraged him to return. Determined not to quit again, he committed to daily uploads, posting roughly five videos per week, which propelled his subscriber count from ~1 K to nearly 10 K and generated about 500 K monthly views. He emphasizes consistency, hard work, and a grind mentality as the keys to growth, offers motivational encouragement to viewers, and ends with a personal note about upcoming basketball practice and limited editing time.

What's up guys? I recently hit 2 million views and, um, I was kind of thinking about that, like how there are channels out there that literally have 2 million subscribers and I'm over here happy that I have 2 million views. Um, I don't know, it's just, it's weird to think about. Like, you know, I can finally say I have millions of views, you know, because 2— yeah. And, uh, you know, that I'm happy about that, that's cool. And it's just, you know, it's crazy to compare to like people like PewDiePie who have 40 million subscribers, 20 times the subscribers I have views. If I probably didn't word that right, but my views times 20 is his subscribers, you know. So it's minuscule compared to other people, but it's awesome to me because I can officially say I have millions of views on this channel. And, uh, that's, that's hype. Hashtag hype. But, um, what was I thinking about? Um, I'm recording the video like this because I said, um, a lot. You're not supposed to say, um, as a YouTuber. But I'm recording the video like this because I just don't feel like editing. You know, some days I'll put 5 hours into a video, like my last Worst Intros video, but today I'm just lazy. I don't feel like doing, you know, much work, so I'm just gonna record it like this so I can easily just throw it up on YouTube. You know, if you're a YouTuber, you understand. If you're not, you probably won't. It's just some days you feel like doing stuff, other days you could care less. But, uh, I just wanted to, you know, talk a little bit about something, um, What was it, about 9 months ago, I actually quit YouTube. Like, I've been doing it for about 2 years. I had a couple hundred videos, I had about 1,000 subscribers, and I just wasn't having fun. And I— it was during basketball season, so I didn't have much free time. And so I, I just quit. I didn't upload for— it was like 45 days straight. I didn't even go on YouTube for like 4 weeks straight. And I went on YouTube after— I had not gone on YouTube in a really long time. I went back on it and I had tons of comments actually. A couple of my videos actually got thousands of views while I was gone and there were a decent amount of comments, about 15-ish comments saying, "Hey, you should come back. I enjoy your videos. Come back." Then 8 months ago, I read those comments and I decided I was going to start doing YouTube But I decided this time I wasn't gonna stop. I was gonna upload daily. I was gonna stay motivated. And it worked out. In the past 8 months, I've went from 1,000 and something subs to I'm about to hit 10K. I'm now getting half a million views per month. And everything's going good. I'm happy with the channel growth and everything. It's, uh, and like in the past 8 months, I've literally uploaded like 5 videos a week, 5 videos every week or something crazy like that. I've been pretty devoted to it because I just determined, you know, I wasn't gonna quit. I was gonna make it happen. I was gonna stop, you know, being like, "Oh, I wish I could be that YouTuber," you know. Pick any guy you like to watch on YouTube, or girl, and just, you know, do you want to be like them? Then, you know, just grind, upload and grind. I was determined not to stop until I got where I wanted to, and obviously I'm not where I want to be, but I'm, you know, getting there, you know. It's a good start. And, uh, yeah, motivation. Hope you're motivated. Go get a million subs. I don't know. But, uh, yeah, we have— I can officially say I have millions of views, and that's kind of cool. But, uh, yeah, I don't know. So see you guys later. Uh, hopefully tomorrow's my first day of basketball practice. That's gonna be interesting. I'm gonna get home late, not have much time to, um, edit. But, uh, yeah, I'll see you guys later.
