OpTic Gaming gear is coming to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The speaker dislikes the game but loves the idea, praising OpTic's rise from YouTube creators to esports mainstream with over a million Twitter followers. Major Call of Duty YouTubers give the franchise tens of billions of views in free advertising.
So as many of you guys are already aware, the new Optic gear is going to be coming to Advanced Warfare. Personally, I'm not gonna go for the gear because I hate Advanced Warfare, but I still thought that it's a really cool idea and I hope they incorporate something like that into Black Ops 3. It's just crazy how Optic started on YouTube and how they've grown to what they are today. I mean, it's really ridiculous if you think about it. This team that started off just making Call of Duty videos now has over a million Twitter followers and is actually being featured in the game with cosmetic gear. I think it's really cool personally, and it made me think about something, you know, Most businesses, when they have a product, you know, they have to pay millions of dollars, you know, to get it out there, to advertise it, things like that, when Call of Duty actually gets unlimited free advertisement on YouTube. I mean, if you actually think about it, it's insane. What other company gets tens of billions of views on YouTube for free? Essentially, that's what we're doing. These big Call of Duty YouTubers have advertised nothing but Call of Duty and literally have multi-billion views on YouTube. It's ridiculous. It's so backwards, because usually games or products or businesses, they pay for advertising. Call of Duty gets all their advertisement for free, and they get the most advertisement out of anything ever. I don't know, just when I saw that gear, it made me think of how OpTic came up, and it just made me realize that, like, most companies have to pay to advertise their product, to advertise their game. We advertise Call of Duty nonstop, 24/7, and they don't even pay us. It's so backwards when you compare it to the rest of the business out there. I don't know, I just thought that was kind of funny. And I'm a really big fan of OpTic. I mean, when you join the Green Wall, you actually become a mini-celebrity. They're that popular. It's actually really crazy when you think about it, how famous OpTic has become. And I love Nadeshot. Nadeshot's a really cool guy, even though he doesn't play competitive anymore. I just— I loved his old competitive videos, and his videos he puts out today are still pretty good. I'm a huge fan of like Scumpii and Big Timer. I know Big Timer doesn't do it anymore, but I really like some of the OpTic guys. I really, really do enjoy their videos and think they're really cool guys. So yeah, that was just my opinion on the whole OpTic gear. I hope they continue to do something like this. Like I said, I don't care about Advanced Warfare, but I hope they do something like this in Black Ops 3. That'd be awesome. I'd actually be pretty hyped for it, and I'd rock OpTic gear because I like them. Them and FaZe Clan. FaZe Clan's a pretty cool clan as well. I like them. So that's the video.
