A creator explains why small YouTube channels should keep uploading in August when others slow down for school, then tests you with five random trivia questions: how many peanuts in a Snickers bar, whether it snows in Africa, how many hours of video upload to YouTube per minute, the cost to raise a dog to 11, and whether a penny lands on heads more often.

What is going on, guys? I have kind of a mini rant for you guys real quick. It's already that time of the year where, you know, on your sub boxes and your inbox and everything, you see a lot of small channels start to quit YouTube because they're not getting noticed and they're not getting the type of exposure they wanted. And I've kind of thought about this a little bit, and I don't want to give like YouTube tips or anything because I'm not a big channel by any means, but a lot of people start their channel in the summer, you know, because they have a lot of time on their hands, and they quit towards the end when school's coming around because they're not gonna have as much time. And I think one thing a lot of people don't realize is during the summer, every kid and his mom is making YouTube videos. Like, everyone's sub boxes are getting spammed because everyone's making 2 to 3 videos a day, and it's ridiculously hard to get noticed during the summer because everyone's uploading so much.. But if you would just keep uploading like a month longer and upload during August, your videos would get at least triple the views because people's sub boxes are gonna have a third the videos in them, and you're gonna— your subs are gonna be more likely to click on your videos, and people are gonna be more likely to find your stuff. Because during the summer, everyone in the world is uploading videos. Everyone has time on their hands. But when August comes around and school and stuff, a lot less people are gonna upload. And your videos are gonna get a lot more views and you're gonna just— you're gonna grow a lot faster. And I don't think a lot of people realize that because I already know a lot of my friends that upload, they're already quitting. They're not getting exposure and they don't want to do YouTube and school, so, you know, they're just, you know, not gonna do YouTube anymore. And if you would just keep uploading like another month till around August when school starts, like, thousands of people's channels are just gonna go inactive and they're gonna stop uploading because Everyone has time on their hands during summer and uploads during the summer, but not that many people actually upload during school, and it's because it's hard. You know, everyone wants to focus on school or anything, but if you want to have like a successful channel, just upload during August. Don't just upload during summer and try to continue it on, and you'll notice a lot more growth. I wouldn't even bother starting a channel in the summer because so many other people in the world do it. It's impossible to get noticed. But anyways, that's just my kind of two cents on that. Um, that— I don't even really know why I talked about that. But my plan for this video is I've got a couple of random questions I wanted to ask, and I want to see if you guys are good guessers and could see if you could get these questions right. So I have 5 questions, and I'm gonna ask these 5, and you know, you can see how many you get right. I'm kind of bored, so we're gonna do something a little different. So the first question is, how many peanuts are in a Snickers bar, 35 or 27? Take a moment. How many peanuts do you think are in a Snickers bar, 35 or 27? All right, pick your answer. The right answer is 27. If you take a Snickers bar, drop it in hot water, there will be 27 peanuts when all the chocolate melts or whatever. So question number 2: Does it snow in Africa regularly, like every couple of days? Does it snow in Africa? Yes or no? You know, get an answer, get an answer. The correct answer is yes, it does snow in Africa regularly, and there's this little mountain resort in Kenya, I think it was, and there's this mountaintop where it does snow and there is a ski resort on it. So it does snow in Africa on occasion. Third question: How many hours of YouTube videos are uploaded every minute? 50 hours or 100 hours? How many hours of YouTube videos are uploaded every minute? Alright, get your answer. 50 or 100? The correct answer is 100. On number 4, my fourth question: On average, what is the cost to raise a dog till it's 11? $6,400 or $7,200? On average, what does it cost to raise a dog till it's 11? $6,400 or $7,200? Get your answer. And the correct answer is $6,400. That's, that's a lot lower than I thought. I thought it would cost more to raise a dog till it's 11. And if you tossed a penny in the air, Which does it have a higher chance of landing on, heads or tails? If you toss a penny in the air, which does it have a higher chance of landing on, heads or tails? The correct answer is heads because the head indent is slightly out, like the head part on a penny sticks out, making the head side weigh just a little bit more. So if you toss the penny in the air, there's like a one-hundredth of a percent higher chance it'll land on heads because the heads part weighs a tiny bit more because the head's sticking out. So, um, anyways, I was kind of bored, so I grabbed 5 random questions off the internet. Uh, that's pretty much the video. Hope you enjoyed. Hope you're not as bored as you were 5 minutes ago. If you are, I'm sorry. Uh, please subscribe, like the video, and I'll see you later.
