In this motivational monologue, the speaker addresses aspiring YouTubers who are truly passionate about growing their channels. He argues that consistent uploading is essential for success and that the common excuse of "not having time" is a lie for those who truly care. The speaker urges creators to prioritize video production over leisure activities like watching TV or other YouTubers, while still respecting core life obligations such as family, school, and religion. He emphasizes that making sacrifices—especially during the school year—separates dedicated creators from casual ones. Practical advice includes using weekends or summer breaks for batch filming, planning ahead, and refusing to waste time on non‑essential activities. The overall message is that only those willing to give up pointless distractions and commit to a rigorous schedule will achieve lasting growth on YouTube.

Gimme it! Haha! Before I get into the topic, I just want to say this video is more for people that are passionate about YouTube, people that really, really care about YouTube, not people that just do it whenever they feel like it. There's no doubt that keeping a consistent upload schedule with YouTube is very time-consuming, and many people I know give the excuse that they they don't upload because they don't have time to. Now, like I said, this video is only for people that are passionate about YouTube, people who really want to get famous, not people that just do it whenever they feel like it. And all the time I come across these tweets from people saying, "I don't have time to do YouTube," or people saying, "I don't upload as much because I don't have time for it." But you look on their Twitter feed or you look on their liked videos and they've watched 10 YouTube videos today. If you really cared about YouTube, then you would stop watching other people's videos. You would stop making other people's dreams come true and you'd make your own videos. It's 2015, we all know this. It takes years of hard work and consistent uploading to get your name out there. And one of the things that will help you stay relevant and definitely get your name out there is a consistent upload schedule. But as we all know, that's gonna take sacrifices. Never put YouTube before family, before socializing, before school, or religion, you know, if you're a religious person. Never put YouTube before those 4 things, but put it before just about everything else. I mean, I see these people say, "I don't have time for videos," but I guarantee you they watch TV sometime during that week. I guarantee you whenever they had an off day from work or an off day from school, they could have, you know, made 3 or 4 videos that day instead of sitting around. So you have to make sacrifices sometimes to make YouTube a thing. It takes years of hard work while you're small, but it will pay off when you're big, and you just gotta be consistent. You have to make sacrifices, and that's what really separates the people who want it and the people who don't want it, 'cause you see, School's gonna start up in a month for most of us. We're gonna go back to high school and I'm gonna go to school for 6 or 7 hours a day and then I'm gonna have sports after that and I'm gonna have other things. But you know what? I'm not gonna come home and watch TV. I'm not gonna come home and watch other YouTube videos. I'm gonna come home, get my work done, and then I'm gonna start making videos. I'm not gonna waste time on other things. And you see, if you really cared about YouTube, you can make time for it. You just gotta give up pointless stuff like TV. You gotta give up watching other people's YouTube videos. You can make time for it. It's whether or not you're motivated enough. It's summer and every single high school student in the world has all the free time they need to consistently upload. But it's when school starts back up that you see who really wants it and who kinda wants it. The people that are still uploading daily during school, which by the way, when school does come back around, stubboxes are not gonna be as filled. Lots of people are gonna quit and your videos are gonna stand out a lot more. And whenever something big happens in the community, not as many people are gonna make videos on it because people are gonna be busy. But you know, you can make time for it. Give up TV, give up watching YouTube videos, and make time for it if you really care about YouTube. And like I said, you know, you gotta plan ahead sometimes. Make your videos on the weekend if you have to. If you literally do not have free time during the weekdays, make them on the weekend. But when school comes around, all I'm saying is when school comes around, you'll be able to see who really likes YouTube, who's really motivated, and who really wants it. And you'll see who kinda wants it. And, you know, like I said, if YouTube's not your passion, then this video doesn't pertain to you. But if YouTube's what you really enjoy doing, then you need to be consistent with it even when school comes back around. And to do that, it's going to take sacrifices. And yeah, that was pretty much the point of this video. We have succeeded in our mission.
