In this informal vlog, the speaker explains that managing social media accounts for brands is a legitimate paid profession. He outlines typical responsibilities—daily tweets, Facebook posts, Instagram visuals—and argues that companies invest heavily in social media because it reaches a massive audience, often more efficiently than TV ads. He provides a broad salary range ($20,000 to $100,000) and notes that compensation depends on the size of the client, with large brands like Walmart or McDonald's offering six‑figure salaries. The speaker also highlights the flexibility of the role, suggesting it can be combined with other jobs, and jokes about how parents might react to hearing their child’s job description. The video ends with a series of humorous, unrelated lifestyle tips.

Did I ever tell you guys that I am a ninja? I know, I know, I know, my intros start to make less and less sense every time. But anyways, did you guys know that people actually make a living off of social media? Like, no joke, people get paid to run these big companies or big corporations' social medias for them. So let's say a company like KitKat hires you to run their social media. Here's what you're gonna do: you're gonna tweet a couple times on their Twitter every single day, you're gonna throw up a couple posts here and there on Facebook, you know, maybe Photoshop a hot girl holding a KitKat for Instagram, and that's your job right there. As long as the social medias continue to grow, as long as their stats are going up on it, they're not gonna fire you, and that's your job, just to run their social media for them. You see, these companies spend millions upon millions of dollars on TV commercials, and they'd be really stupid if they did not take advantage of social media, which is essentially free advertisement. I know they're paying someone to run it, But still, the amount of people they can reach through social media— because, you know, majority of Americans spend between 10 and 40% of their downtime on social media, so you can reach a lot of people. I mean, there's hundreds of millions of people on all these social media platforms, and you could possibly reach more people through that than you do through TV commercials. So it makes sense that they hire people to run the pages for them. That has to be the definition of a dream job, a job where you literally sit down and just run someone else's social media for them and get paid. Now you're probably wondering, these people probably don't get paid that much, but that's not the case. Now the pay range for this field is between $20,000 and $100,000. I know that's a huge gap, but if you're, you know, working for a company that's just starting to franchise, a company that's just getting off its feet, you know, you're gonna make $20,000 a year, which is really nothing. But there's nothing that says you can't get another job along with this. You're literally only running their social media for them, so you can still work another job. And, you know, $20,000 a year just for running someone's social media, that's still a lot of money. But if you partner with a big company, say Walmart, McDonald's, if you manage to land a job with them, they have entire teams dedicated to running their social medias and stuff, and people on those make above 6 figures. But that's kind of ridiculous. It's not like crazy to go run some company's social media for them and try to get, you know, $50,000 to $70,000 a year out of it. And you can still work another job on top of that. Nothing says that can be your only job. So yeah, I thought that was pretty cool. I mean, imagine telling your parents that your job is to run someone's social media, your parents would probably think you're lying or something like that. Because, you know, if your parents are like mine, they don't even know what social media is hardly, so they'd probably like flip out and be like, what? And remember, meth equals death.
