Antonio Moniz got featured on YouTube community channels with 70K to 600K subscribers and gained only 400-500 new subscribers total. Features from channels over 100K brought 50-75 subs each; smaller ones brought 20-30. He recommends turning down channels under 50K because the SEO impact hurts your own video's reach.

So community channels, it sounds like a good idea, you know, it's a channel with 100+ thousand subscribers, they take your video, they upload it, lots of people see your video, they like it, they come subscribe to you. And I'm just going to talk about my experience with community channels in this video and just the amount of subscribers I've gained off of each uploads to each of these channels. So let's just jump right into this. Okay, so 19 days ago, 19 days from today, I uploaded my part 1 of the history of Call of Duty on YouTube. And in the past 19 days, I've been featured on COD Comedy Bryson 3 times. That channel has over 600 100,000 subscribers. I've been on there 3 times. I've been on a channel called Sigaming, which has 250,000 subscribers. I've been on there twice. I've also been on a channel called Cast Theater once, possibly twice, thinking about uploading the next part. I've been on another channel called xCodShots. I've been on there twice. He has 150K. I've been on a channel called iColbat once, and he has 85K. And then another channel with 70K is gonna upload the video later today. And then another channel with 100K, another community channel, told me he was going to upload it later this week. And the whole reason I wanted to make this video is I wanted to make sure you guys have realistic viewpoints if you ever get featured on a community channel. Because, you know, in my head I was thinking, you know, 4 channels with over 100K subscribers are featuring me, one has 600,000 subscribers. I'm just— my video has been seen by so many people. I was thinking, you know, I'm gonna have 10,000 subscribers by the end of this month. I mean, how can I not? I've been featured on a channel with 600K 3 times, a channel with 250K twice, 150K, 150K, 2 times each. I'm just like, I feel like, or I thought I was gonna get so many more subscribers, but in reality, I only got around 400, a little less than 500 subscribers from all that exposure. Now don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate it, man. I just, I want as many people to watch my videos as possible. So that little less than 500 subs I got off of being featured on the, you know, on all those community channels, I'm really grateful for that. Like, I really do appreciate it. But as you heard me say earlier, for me to gain that 500 subscribers, I had to get featured on so many channels. A channel with 600K, 3 times. A channel with 250K, twice. 150K, I mean, just, I had to get featured on so many channels to gain 500 subscribers. Sorry, I stuttered there. But if you get posted on a community channel, realistically speaking, even if they have over 100,000 subscribers, you're gonna gain about 50 to 75 subscribers. Just being realistic, being honest with you guys. And I feel like a lot of people have wrong viewpoints because, you know, Oh, a channel with 600K is gonna upload me. I'm gonna gain 10,000 subscribers overnight. You know, that's kinda what I was thinking. I was getting super excited, and then I ended up gaining like 70 subs. And like I said, I'm really grateful for that. Like, I appreciate the help, and I want as many people to see my videos as possible. It's just, I wanna make sure you guys have realistic viewpoints. If you ever get on a community channel, it's gonna be between 50 to 70 subs that you're gonna gain, and that's if you get on a big one. If you get on one with less than 100K, you're not even gonna get anywhere near that. You'll probably get like 20 to 30. And, uh, yeah, I just felt like talking about that because I get so many messages from channels asking to upload my History of Call of Duty series. Lots of people love it, and I'm, you know, I appreciate it. I'm glad people enjoy the video, but I've been turning down a decent amount of community channels, uh, specifically ones with less than 50k subs, because if you have less than 50k subs, it's really not benefiting me, and you're just, you know, stealing search results from me if you understand how SEO works. You know, the more people that upload the video, the less chance people will actually find mine. Instead of going to the community channels, and I don't really want them to upload it unless they have a lot of subs and, you know, help me, yada yada. So yeah, I just wanted to talk about that. Lots of people have been asking to upload it, and just community channels in general have been on my mind. And I just wanted to let you guys know how it benefited me. I gained 500 subscribers, but that's, I mean, being featured 10 times on channels with over 100K subs. So yeah. Yeah, if you don't get featured on a community channel, if you apply for one and they don't accept you, it's not the end of the world. And that's pretty much all I wanted to say because you're only going to gain between 50 to 70 subs, but it is a good way to help you grow. I mean, if you have less than 1,000 subscribers, 50 to 70 subs might mean a lot to you, but to me, eh, I don't know. Um, yeah, that's pretty much all I wanted to say. Hopefully you enjoyed.
No exceptions to the rule, do what you do to get by, cuz I keep ticking like a metronome and my thoughts keep telling me to get me home, but my balls keep telling me to let me out. Oh, just let me out. That clock keeps ticking like a metronome, and my thoughts keep telling me to get me home, but my balls keep telling me to let me out.
