In this vlog‑style commentary, the speaker vents frustration with repetitive Black Ops 3 news videos and challenge content, arguing that such videos are "bad" because they provide no original information or entertainment. He defines "view‑whoring" as creating videos solely for views without delivering accurate or valuable content, distinguishing it from SEO‑driven videos that answer popular search queries with legitimate information. To illustrate his stance, he cites his own recent videos analyzing PewDiePie’s earnings and the cost of a FaZe Rain giveaway, claiming these are acceptable because they fulfill viewer curiosity with factual data. He calls for the YouTube community, especially the Call of Duty niche, to shift its mindset toward prioritizing accuracy and entertainment over clickbait titles, while acknowledging that judgments about "bad" content are inherently subjective. The video concludes with a brief, unrelated lyrical interjection from a second speaker.

There are a couple things that have just really been annoying me lately, and that's Black Ops 3 news videos and Charlie Charlie challenge videos. I realize I'm part of one of the worst communities that's ever existed on the internet, the Call of Duty community. We're just, we're really unoriginal people. I know you guys want to get noticed. I want to get noticed. We all do things to get views. It's just— I— this is gonna sound really subjective, but as long as you're making videos that are entertaining over that stuff, or videos with real information, it's okay to me. It's just I really don't like Black Ops 3 news videos that like literally repeat what Drifter or TmarTn say. The people who have actually played the game, let them make news videos. The people that are getting information straight from, you know, from Activision, Let them make the videos, not some random 13-year-old desperate for views who's just making up a bunch of BS so he can get a bunch of views on YouTube. And this is gonna go back to what I said earlier. It's really subjective in my head what is bad content and what is acceptable content on YouTube. And to me, Black Ops 3 news videos that provide no actual legit news in any form is bad content because it's just pointless. You're not benefiting the viewer, and really you're just wasting people's time by making it. Now, I don't wanna come across as a hypocrite. I did make a video about how much money PewDiePie makes, and I've also made a video very recently about how much FaZe Rain's giveaway cost. And like, the reason I made those videos is because they got tons of views because people were searching that and people wanted to know, and I provided them with legit information. So in my head, that's good content, that's acceptable. I'm not view-whoring because people searched how much does PewDiePie make, they wanted an accurate answer, I gave it to them. To me, that's not view-whoring. Neither, say Same thing with, you know, the Phaze Rain giveaway. That video got like 500 views and I uploaded it last week. People wanted to know how much it cost, and to me, that's fine because I'm answering their question with legitimate information. Here's the thing that just, I think so many people on YouTube have just wrong. In my head, view whoring is when you make a video just for views and you do not provide legitimate information. But, you know, the whole point of making YouTube videos is to get views. You want your videos to be seen. If you make a video about something that you know is searched a lot and you provide legitimate, accurate information, to me that's not view whoring. I see people call videos, uh, view whore videos, or just, you know, people say people are view whores because they make these videos that they know people are searching. But as long as they're accurate and provide information, in my head it's not view whoring. I know this won't change anything, but as a community we need to change our mindset. Being a view whore, SEO whore, whatever you want to call it on YouTube, is not making a video and titling it for what people are searching. Being a view whore is when you make a video about stuff people are searching and provide no accurate information or no entertainment value. Something just completely pointless, just purely for views. But as long as you're providing the people who are searching that stuff with real information, to me it's not being a view whore, it's not being a sellout, it's not being whatever you want to call it. And I feel like a lot of people on YouTube have wrong perspectives of that. And, uh, I don't know, I just— Felt like saying that. I've just seen way too much Black Ops 3 news in my sub box even still. I thought the hype died off like a month ago and it's still there. And it's really annoying me, but this video is directed to no one in particular. I just feel like as a community we need to change our mindset on videos and stuff like that. And like I said, I don't feel like a video is SEO whoring, view whoring, I don't know any better words to use, as long as it's providing accurate information or some type of entertainment, that, that's fine to me. But when a video is just really pointless, and as I said, it's subjective, and people are titling it so it gets a bunch of views, that's when it crosses the line and I feel like it's bad content. So, whatever. Hopefully this video made sense. That's pretty much all.
No exception to the rule, do what you do to get by, 'cause I keep tickin' like a metronome and my thoughts keep tellin' me to get me home, but my balls keep tellin' me to let me owe. Oh, just let me owe. That clock keeps tickin' like a metronome and my thoughts keep tellin' me to get me home, but my balls keep tellin' me to let me owe.
