The video narrates the early history of FaZe Clan, identifying its three original founders—FaZe Clips, FaZe Resistance, and FaZe Housecat (Housekat)—and explaining why each left the organization. FaZe Clips, a 14‑year‑old in 9th grade, quit after his Xbox overheated (red ring) and he couldn’t replace it. FaZe Resistance left to regain a social life and focus on his girlfriend after years of intensive clip‑making, later starting a small clan called Icon. FaZe Housecat’s current activity is playing League of Legends with aspirations to become a pro player, though little else is known about him. The video then details how FaZe Temper (Temperrr), originally a graphics designer for the clan, gained the trust of the co‑owners, was given the channel password, and later changed the password and email, effectively locking out the original founders and assuming control. The narrator frames this as a form of “stealing” but notes that the clan has since grown to 3 million subscribers and a valuation of $16 million, with members earning six‑figure incomes. The tone is conversational, with a mix of sympathy for the original founders and critical commentary on Temper’s takeover, while acknowledging the clan’s current success.

Have you ever wondered who started FaZe Clan? Who is the founder of FaZe Clan, the world's largest gaming team, home to some of the most popular YouTubers out there? The FaZe Clan, the team that is worth $16 million, the team that is home to countless sponsors. Just have you ever wondered who started this clan? Currently, FaZe Clan is owned and operated by FaZe Temper, but FaZe Temper had no part in creating FaZe Clan. In fact, in a way, he kind of stole FaZe Clan from its original creators. You see, FaZe Clan was actually founded by 3 people: FaZe Clips, FaZe Resistance, and FaZe Housecat. These were the 3 people that founded FaZe Clan. These are the 3 original owners of FaZe Clan. And I don't know about you guys, but if I was one of the founders of FaZe, I I would be depressed. I mean, imagine you and your friends get together, you create a clan, and then stuff happens and you're no longer part of the clan. And then 5 years go by and you look up the clan you started with your friends back when you were 15 on YouTube, and you see that that clan is worth literally millions upon millions of dollars. Then you see that some of the members like FaZe Rain, FaZe Apex, FaZe Adapt are all making, you know, over 6 figures a year. You have this competitive team and all this stuff, and you have no hand of it. All the founders of FaZe have no part in FaZe anymore, and that is sad, man. Just imagine that. You're 15, you and your friends create a clan, and then you somehow, you know, leave the clan, and then 5 years later you find out that that clan you made when you were 15 is worth $16 million. So the first founder I wanted to talk about is FaZe Clips, and he said when they founded FaZe Clan, he was actually 14 years old and he was in 9th grade. And he said back then he was really immature and he didn't really he didn't realize how big of a deal FaZe Clan would be. And one of the reasons he left, or actually the main reason he left, is because his Xbox got the red ring. If you don't know what the red ring is, it means your Xbox overheat, overheats. And so he couldn't get a new Xbox. And because his Xbox overheated, and because he was so young and he didn't see the potential in FaZe, FaZe Clips, one of the founders of FaZe, actually left FaZe Clan towards its beginning because he didn't have an Xbox and he couldn't get a new one. Okay, imagine that. Imagine you create a clan and then you leave the clan because your Xbox gets red ring and then now that clan's worth $16 million. That must suck. And the second founder of FaZe was FaZe Resistance and his reason for leaving, which by the way, I'm not making this up, this is stuff straight out of their mouths. The reason he left FaZe is he said back then, back towards its beginning, he had just gotten a girlfriend and he wanted to have a social life again. He said when he was, you know, working on FaZe, trying to hit clips. It was just absorbing all his time. His social life went out the window. He said that he had been working out for 4 years, and then when he started up FaZe Clan, he stopped working out, he stopped interacting with people, which is why he eventually left FaZe, because he wanted to have a social life again, he wanted to spend time with his girlfriend, yada yada yada. In my opinion, I still feel like it was a bad decision because, I don't know, social life, being a part of a multi-million dollar gaming company, you know, if he obviously stuck with it, he could have millions of subscribers on YouTube now, and literally be doing YouTube as a job. But he says he doesn't really regret it. And in fact, a couple years after he left FaZe, he actually started up his own clan called like, Icon. It only has a couple thousand subscribers. And he got back into video games a little bit. But yeah, so first founder left because of red ring. Second founder left because he wanted a social life. And then the third founder is Housekat. And to be honest, I couldn't find much information on Housekat. He still plays video games. He's really into League of Legends now, apparently. His bio on his YouTube channel is that he wants to become a pro league player. Now in case you're wondering how FaZe Temper took over FaZe Clan, it actually happened like this. Back when FaZe Clan was kind of small, and I'm not making this up, this is straight from a video from FaZe Clips themselves, so this is, you know, legitimate information. FaZe Temper, back then he was Temper, started doing graphics designs for FaZe Clan. He started, you know, getting the trust from some of the FaZe Clan members, or the co-owners at the time. He became friends with them, he was doing graphics design, he was helping out with FaZe Clan. So they eventually gave him the password to the FaZe Clan channel. And then one day, uh, Temperrr and I think it was like Resistance and Housekat, you know, Temperrr and the other guys were getting in a fight and it was a really heated argument. And apparently FaZe Temperrr changed the password to FaZe Clan and changed the email, locking the other people out and taking control of FaZe Clan. So like I said earlier, in a way FaZe Temperrr kinda did steal it, but if you watch FaZe Clips' video and, uh, like he's not really salty about it. I guess in a way it did work out because, you know, FaZe Temper did kind of steal FaZe Clan, but it obviously worked out. FaZe Clan has 3 million subscribers. So I don't know, I couldn't find a video on Resistance or, um, what's his face, uh, what's the other guy, Housekat, like I couldn't find a video on their opinion of, you know, FaZe Temper just stealing FaZe Clan like that, changing the password. But that's what FaZe Clips said. If you go watch his video, he said that FaZe Temper basically just changed the password and took over, and that's how he became leader of FaZe Clan. So anyways, those were the founders of FaZe and how it came to what it is today. Let me know what you guys think, and hopefully you enjoyed. MrBeast, oh! MrBeast, oh!
