Why I Changed My Channel Name

You might not have noticed yet, but I changed my name on YouTube, and that's what this video is for. I'm just going to explain to you guys real quick why I changed it. This should be pretty simple, but, uh, if you type in MrBeast6000 into the search bar, my channel pops up. Do it for Google, do it for anything. You search MrBeast6000, it brings up my channel because that was the original name of my channel when I first made it. What, uh, I actually have already changed it, but it just hasn't updated here yet. But my— the name of my channel now is MrBeast6000. If you click on one of my videos It says MrBeast6000 here. So that's the name of my channel, MrBeast6000. Uh, what I did was a couple years ago I changed it from MrBeast6000 after I made the channel to Beast. But if you search Beast, my channel doesn't pop up. For my channel to pop up, you have to search MrBeast6000 because for some reason that's what 13-year-old me wanted the name of this channel to be. So I changed my name back to MrBeast6000 because people would come across my channel because I get tons of views every day. And then they'd go away and they'd, you know, want to find my channel again, but they couldn't because the name of my channel was Beast. And if you search Beast, this does not come up. People had no way of finding my channel. So therefore, to clear up confusion— and this right here, this will update in a couple of days and it'll change this— to make, you know, make everything simpler, I just made my name MrBeast6000. And as I already showed you, it'll pop up when you click on one of my videos. So I'm now MrBeast6000. I'm no longer Beast. So I do need a new banner. I'm gonna have to find someone to do that. Hopefully they don't charge money because I'm broke. And I need a new intro, which by the way, shout out to Dank Memes. He asked for a shout out. Shout out to you. I'll probably need you to make me a new intro and just put Mr. and 6000 in there because it was just beast. But yeah, there you go. Hopefully you understood why I did it. I mean, it makes sense in my head. No way am I ever starting a new channel. This channel gets too many views and I have over 2K subs. I'm not starting over. I just gotta redo this banner. I'll probably just redo everything and then get a new background for my thumbnails because this blue background on the thumbnails is getting kind of stale. I've been using it pretty consistently, but I don't know, um, a couple of these don't have it. So I'll probably just revamp my whole channel. The name's MrBeast6000. I don't know, it sucks, but who cares? I'm— or I shouldn't say like that. It does matter, but it's life and I'm not starting my channel over. No way am I doing that. So I'll just live with it. It could be worse. Like MrBeast6000, you could say pretty easily, there's no like XX No Scope Swag or anything. It's just like, hey, did you see MrBeast6000's video yesterday? Or MrBeast, just, you know, call me MrBeast, something like that. It's not the end of the world. Uh, there could be worse. I just need a new banner and probably a new emblem. Just go ahead and change everything up on my channel. And, uh, yeah, so that hopefully, like I said, I made it clear enough where you could understand. I just want to clear that up. So no one was like wondering what happened to Beast, why did he change his name to MrBeast6000. It was just because there are already tons of channels just named Beast, but there's nothing MrBeast6000, which is what my channel's original name was when I made it. What does that say? 3 years ago. Yeah, so 3 years ago. And like I said, look up here. If you look at my URL, the channel, it actually has MrBeast6000. So that's why it pops up when I search it. So, uh, there you go. I'm not gonna drag it out any long— or anymore. That's why I changed my channel. Hopefully you understand. And yeah.
