Bloodline Edition.Roman Reigns. WWE. 2K 25. Stream.

The transcript captures a live‑playthrough of WWE 2K25’s Bloodline Edition, blending in‑game commentary, player dialogue, and scripted storyline. The stream opens with a mysterious attack on a draft pick, leading to a discussion among characters (CM Punk, Troy Simpkin, Adam Pearce, etc.) about the source of the assault and the need for vigilance. The narrative escalates into an NXT "mutiny" that invades a secret location, steals the NXT Unity Tag Team Championships, and forces Raw/SmackDown talent to form uneasy alliances. Players negotiate strategy, recruit allies (including a rival‑promotion wrestler), and plan counter‑attacks. Throughout, the broadcast team (Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton) provides play‑by‑play of multiple matches, describing moves, reversals, finishers, and outcomes, while also highlighting the player’s progress in the My Rise career mode – completing the Island chapter, awaiting Chapter 2, and customizing characters (changing names, executing signatures with R2). A dedicated segment features Paul Heyman delivering a historic Bloodline monologue, tracing the Anoa'i family legacy and framing the showcase as a celebration of the dynasty. Additional monologues include Roman Reigns praising a fictional wrestler "Rodney" as a parallel to his own career, and Paul Heyman recounting Yokozuna’s 1993 King of the Ring victory over Hulk Hogan, emphasizing its impact on WWE history. The stream concludes with the player announcing a break and teasing a future live session. The stream intermixes real‑world WWE references (WrestleMania moments, legendary wrestlers) with in‑game events, creating a meta‑narrative that blurs the line between the virtual and the actual WWE universe.
Chapters
So I got to talk to Rey Mysterio and stuff like that. He's inside the Temple of Ancestors. Okay, so this is Rey Mysterio right here.
This might just be a training match for Cruz del Toro here in the Temple of the Ancients, but for this competitor, it's a huge opportunity to learn not only from Cruz but from WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
Well, Rey's always been a trailblazer, both in the ring and out, giving back to the wrestling world and helping to bring up the next generation of talent.
Definitely, Corey.
If this competitor manages to impress Rey, they could find a powerful ally in their corner, and that will bring some frustration to Cruz. I don't think he's going to give up so easily though.
Cruz is facing a beatdown.
Cruz has got to get his wits about him.
Nasty right hand.
Fist to Sinzaguri.
He's ready to show his opponent and the world what he's made of.
When Cruz del Toro gets going, he really as hard to keep up with. How much do you think that'll factor in this match?
I think it'll be a major factor, Cole. Cruz Del Toro is truly spectacular in the ring, so the faster Del Toro attacks and the higher he flies, the better his chances are here.
And his constant attack has him floundering. Yeah, he's definitely doing some backpedaling.
And a stomp to the gut.
Boom! Oh my God, in the spine!
That'll make your legs go numb.
Forearms from the second rope, driving down.
I don't know how much more damage can be done now.
Yeah, I don't know how much longer a good defense will even matter at this point.
Boom!
Ah, shot to the back!
1, 2, Series of kicks in the corner and a disorienting blow to the head there.
Cruz is facing a beatdown.
Cruz has got to get his wits about him.
Countering that offense, rolling elbow. Woo-wee! Trying to get up, he has no clue what's in Yeah.
Come on!
1, 2, 3! Victory!
All right, so I'mma change my finisher move because that finisher move is getting kind of boring. So yeah, I'm just changing up my moves a little bit because honestly it's getting boring a little bit for my moves. But yeah, I'm trying to see like what style would I want. Also, there's a lot for any of you who got WWE, um, 2025 Bloodline Edition. Make sure you enter in the locker room Locker code Dirty Dom, because basically you will get an extra costume for Rey Mysterio. You have to enter it before April 8th. Okay, I like this island though. Look at this, the Island of Ancestors and stuff. I like this. Oh, oh, here we go, here we go.
I wonder if the LWO is secretly looking for new members. First, a more informal match with Cruz Del Toro, and now they've recruited this competitor in Roman's challenge to help them take on Angel and Bertha.
That's a big vote of confidence if they're fighting side by side, and some high pressure for this still unknown to pull through, or an easy match for Angel Alberto to win.
Kick to the back.
Already he's taking on some damage.
Yeah, and he's got to think about making that tag sooner. This could get worse.
And a stomp to the gut too.
Things not going well now for Angel.
Can Angel recover from this adversity?
Mano Ropa forearm on point. Brutal knee to the side of the face.
Right to the spine.
Angel showing his instinct. Oh, look at these kicks! Rights and lefts, elbows, knees, all of them lethal.
Just never had a chance to block any of those.
Look at all these—
oh my gosh, putting the boots to an opponent will take the fight out of them in a hurry.
He fails to connect.
Vicious right forearm, and into the corner he goes.
And he's able to fight Angel off. Wow, and with an onslaught of strikes like that, it's clear they have nothing nothing but punishment on their mind. We can't be far from the finish line now.
This could be the defining moment of this match for him.
What does he do now?
And Berto now finding himself on the wrong side of momentum.
Berto's strategy isn't working how he wanted.
My goodness!
Now the time to beat the count.
He got in, he got in, just avoiding the ref's count. Big knee to the midsection.
Things not going well now for Angel.
Can Angel recover from this adversity?
Hit the rope. Oh, what a knee strike. He's looking banged up here, guys. Oh, vicious body shot! Big forearm!
Oh, what a clubbing blow!
He realizes this is his opportunity. Taking aim.
Angels by stop to that.
At last, Angel keeping that string of offense in check.
It's time for Angel to take advantage of a misstep and take command.
Ooh, clothesline delivered! He's able to counter that.
Arm sits—
and look at these A series of boots, and attacking the body here could be a smart strategy.
And here's the COVID could be it!
Wow, he's going to celebrate all night long!
Let's go! Woo! Let's go! Oh yes, they're playing Eddie Guerrero's theme song. Oh my God. Okay, yo, this mask look dope, but I don't like it. I don't like it on me. I don't like it on me.
1, 2, 3, 4. 4, 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3.
So honestly, I mean, this has been going well for me. Honestly, um, these matches and stuff, yeah, these matches have been going well for me. Yeah, these matches have been doing pretty good and stuff, honestly. Um, challenges, perform crowd hunts. Kick out of a pin. I already did this one. Okay, Hall of Fame.
Jody Garcia's had a rough go of it in her matches on the island lately, and she's looking for this match to help turn it around.
If she's hoping for her tag partner to take it easy on her, I think Jody's in for a rude awakening.
I don't think that's what Jody's expecting here.
Sometimes facing off against a trusted ally in the ring is all you need to push yourself to a new limit, to get your head straight, to put yourself back on track.
And a stomp to the gut.
Oh, that kick will stop you in your tracks.
Forearms from the second rope, driving down, and the pressure on Jody continues to mount. Garcia has to retreat and rethink her strategy, and once again she's put on the back foot.
At this point in the match, you have to expect to be run down.
Hooked up!
Yuji Garoshi neckbreaker!
He gets around the attack.
Oh, sent out of the ring the hard way!
Oh, what a punch!
That's how you stop your opponent.
No signs of either combatant backing down. Oh, she retaliates! Counter after counter, neither superstar getting the clear advantage.
Oh, WWE Universe appreciating these athletes going all out toe-to-toe, treating each other like heavy bags.
What impressive determination from both competitors, keeping at each other no matter what.
Both absolutely drained, but both refu— listen to this crowd driving these competitors to leave everything out out in the ring.
Oh my, that'll rock you! And the pressure on Jody continues to mount.
Garcia has to retreat and rethink her strategy.
There's two, and that's all she wrote.
So exactly, here am I saying, you know, nobody can't pin like that. I can pin Yeah, now I'm playing. Oh my God. Come on, get your ass up, Lucky Charms! Get your ass up, Lucky Charms!
Are you ready?
Are you ready?
1, 2, 3!
What? 1, 2. One.
1, 2, that's 3. Reach the—
honestly, Bro, this is getting way simple. This is really, really getting simple, bro. All of these matches are getting simple. So I'm guessing we're doing a lot of old matches. Time to impress me. Proving your talent. It won't be safe to make an impact by the end of my own change. Only one will truly impress me. But now, an opportunity for the best team of three. The 6-man tag tournament is starting. Hey, what's up, bro? What's up, Jeremy? So how was, uh, program yesterday? Um, Jeremy.
And with that, our 6-person tag team tournament officially kicks off here in Hero HQ. Whoever emerges victorious is sure to have a huge advantage in Roman's challenge.
These competitors have had time to get to know each other since Roman put them together. Do you think they took advantage of the training opportunity?
Well, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough in the ring. Mounting their downed opponent and firing off a series of blows.
And a stop to the gut too.
Definitely some damage dealt to him there.
Yeah, I'd say he should consider tagging out. If he could take a break now, it could pay off big down the line.
Boom, DDT! Uh-oh, and there's the takedown!
Placed against the turnbuckles. Ooh, and he stops that offense!
He pulls off the reversal!
Quick thinking that time. Turns that in his favor.
Look at this, just unloading! And a stop to the gut too.
Oh, kick cut Oh, able to slip out of that one.
There's a tag.
Oh, right to the body! He wasn't tough enough contending with one opponent, now you got to deal with two.
Back elbow blows that one up.
Kick right to the knee. This could be it here, guys! Wrap it up! Look at this! Yes, LeMay strong! Shoulders down.
Oh, somehow showing his determination there with that kick out.
Shoulders down, cover, and he breaks the count quickly.
Channeling his energy to stay in this matchup.
Oh, through moonsault!
My God, it's hard enough to do a moonsault from the ropes, but standing next to your opponent, now that's something else.
Sometimes you just got to show off and show out.
And just in time, he gets out of there.
Whoa, the height on the moonsault!
Chovsky might actually get the win here.
Kicks out!
There's some shock in the arena after that kick out. Oh man!
2, 3!
Got him in the corner now. Trent with the retaliation, picking up speed. Drop kick right on the money.
He's just looking absolutely bullied right now. Can he overcome this. Ah, striking with a knee!
This is it, he could put him away right here. Ah, barely kicks out.
What do you have to do to put this guy away?
Boom!
Kick connects on the kick!
Able to slip away.
EDT!
Set up for the leg sweep.
Nicely done.
Flatland goes for the pin. He breaks the ref's count after one.
Wow, I thought this was over.
Super kick! Man, covering their opponent for the win. He kicks out at 2.
Both competitors digging deep into their well to keep this match going.
Boom, what a kick!
Oh, kick right to the back, and his body is still the focus of the attack.
Signing with—
that's right, Corey, he goes for the pin!
Could this be it?
And a kick out at 2!
He just kicked out by a fraction of a second.
Big boot!
Shaw has the shoulders down. This could be it.
Kicking out in time.
Almost inhuman at this point.
Kick!
Going for the 3 count. Yeah, no, he doesn't get the 3.
I didn't think we'd see a kick out there.
Goes into the corner.
One step ahead of Trent there.
Uh-oh, targets the gut to end the offense.
He's on Time to 3 count here.
3! No!
And you got to think he's just one final blow away from not kicking out next time.
Incredible agility, wasting no time. Shoulders are down, kicks out! He still has life.
Now is not the time to wallow in disbelief. Pressure must be kept on.
A picture-perfect Moonshot!
Kicks out before the 2 count.
There is no quit in this man tonight.
Oh man, Shaw seems to be executing his game plan.
Trent is unloading plenty of attacks here.
He avoids the contact. Superkick!
Oh, kick right to the back!
And there's the tag.
Uh-oh, both arms trapped.
This will not end well. Oh yes, stomp after stomp after stomp! Cover, cover! This could be it! Ah, picking up the victory as his opponent Does his best. Saxton stares up at the lights.
Let's go! Can I get a yeet?
Yeet! Ah!
1, 2, 3, 4.
What?
One, two, it's over!
I got to prove myself for Roman.
Round of tournament competition without talking about the WWE Superstars.
What do you mean, Saxton?
Well, for them to come to the island and insert themselves into Roman's plans.
Come on.
I don't see anyone inserting. I see 3 talented wrestlers with a valid point who took matters into their own hands.
Seriously, both these teams will have plenty of time to worry about WWE Superstars after the match.
Flung hard into the corner and crashes to the mat. Foot to the lower back. This is not going to be good.
Relentless, showing absolutely no mercy at all.
What a onslaught!
Gets out of dodge.
Round and round we go. Tilt-a-whirl head scissors!
Oh, he fends that off! Oh, I think the ring just moved. Turning the tables. All right, Hurricane Rana, agility like that is what can set you apart from the rest of the locker room.
Oh, into the turnbuckle, down to the mat.
Oh, a forearm smash!
Shoulder down, and he recovers.
No, kicks out!
You have to think this match is starting to take its toll.
Ooh, boom!
This might be the end here, and he powers out.
He's still in the fight But for how much longer?
Oh man, shot right to the midsection!
For the record, Saxton, you and I would never have that kind of chemistry.
Hey, I'd be a great teammate.
I've seen you trip over your own left foot. No thank you.
Tag! Oh baby, look out! Big elbow drop! Elbow drop! Oh, what a right! Yeah, that's some attitude behind it. Oh God, punching their way out. Thinking about rolling pin. Watch this! Wow, look at the legs on 2. She kicks out at 1. Doesn't bode well if you still can't get more than a 1 count by now.
DDT.
Now shoulders down.
Here we go.
She shows that she's far from finished.
Boom!
Hey, we're all getting free tickets to the gun show.
Kick to the back.
Just look at Garcia taking control here, piece by piece.
Jody's chipping away.
Stomp after stomp after stomp. A proverbial mud hole has been stomped, and now it's time to walk it dry. And she just avoided some serious damage.
Oh, impact to the stomach.
And Mary got led right into harm's way on that exchange.
Yeah, Jody broke it down there.
Suplex! Sharp punch!
Oh, attacked in the midsection!
Just ejected from the ring! Oh my God, solid punch! Oh God, look at this, showing off with a big flex and then a kick to the back.
Just look at Garcia taking good control here.
Piece by piece, Jody's chipping away.
Oh, and he evades the attack.
Punch connects.
Oh, treading all over their opponent. Has them in the corner, getting it charged up.
There's the clothesline! Oh my, what a splash!
Can she get the pinfall? Maybe.
Strong kick out there.
It's not over yet, plenty left to go in this one. Nothing fancy there.
And now she's really taken over.
Total dominance.
She's just going off. DDT!
We've got a tag.
Caught with the boot!
Here comes your partner, man.
Just a multitude of strikes.
Wow!
And he retaliates.
Punch lands.
Boom!
Boot!
Nice brutality.
Got him up. Oh, she—
and he's absorbed some stiff offense already.
From the top, tag made!
Oh yeah, not waiting any longer to get in this.
Oh my God, they only tied the offense there.
Oh, that hurt!
Look at that counter from Dewey! Being placed in the corner here, and Carter falls to a counter kick right to the leg, and he's ready to switch things up, tagging out. Big splash in the corner, sharp Jab, series of strikes to the back. The COVID the COVID on the ropes!
So that'll end the pin.
Makes it all the way to the tag.
Super kick!
Wow! Corkscrew moonsault, beautiful!
Ooh, sharp kick!
He wastes no time launching the attack.
Spectacular athleticism.
Strikes with a kick.
Escape that in a hurry.
Double axe handle!
Shaw seems to be executing his game plan.
Jerry has to wake up and get going in a hurry.
He's headed to the top now.
From the top, a defensive elbow to the gut ends that.
Holy— meet the barricade! Shining Wizard!
He's really pushing the limit here, getting close to a count out.
Nasty knee!
What a six-man Tag match.
Is it just me, or does Jody Garcia seem a bit quieter than usual tonight?
Well, this trio has never given me warm fuzzy feelings, but but she does usually have a bit more pep. It does seem as though these three are just out here to do a job.
Sometimes that's all you need.
We'll have to see if it pays off against Hat Trick, Backdraft, and Roberts.
Measured kick to the vertebrae. Oh, that hurt!
And Jerry's derailed for a moment by that attack.
He could defer to one of his partners if he wanted to, Cole, but I think he's got this right now.
Man, Uh-oh, headbutt! Nothing fancy there. Oh, punch!
Nasty!
What a punch!
Dangerous position here, guys.
Oh no, no, no, no, suplex!
Oh, he goes for the quick pin and skirts out of the pin.
Trying to catch him off guard with that attempt.
Running knee lift. Oh, kick right to the back! Fatal rope forearm on point. Oh, with authority! Got him up! Fuji Garoshi! Mounting their downed opponent and firing off a series of blows.
And a stomp to the gut into the pin.
Can he get him here?
He powers out at the last moment.
Oh, so close.
And tag!
He finally made it.
Arm smash at the The—
oh, kick right to the back of the leg!
Rolling elbow!
Woo!
Uh-oh, he answers right back!
Here's a wheelbarrow!
Boom!
DDT!
And he gets directed into the corner.
Oh, and that surprises Roberts.
Rights and lefts, elbows, knees, all of them lethal. You can see that each strike drained their opponent's energy, and Roberts looks outsmarted. Oh, what a knee strike! Ooh, vicious kick to the spine! Makes the COVID gets the shoulder up and won!
So resilient.
Oh God!
1, 2, 3!
Ooh, and my God, what a forearm!
Right to the jaw with the counter.
Oh, and an elbow caught him and cleared him to the floor. Oh, strong impact!
Boom! 2.
Oh, vicious running knee lift! Oh, that hurt! Oh, stop, stop, stop! Arm smash!
He's going for it!
Manages to escape before the 3 count.
He's determined to keep this matchup Going!
Bang!
Long knee!
And another knee!
Rapid knees, practically never-ending.
And now here's the COVID Just kicks out! Not yet.
Being set up in the corner for something.
There's the tag.
Oh man, shot right to the midsection, and Roberts is being taken apart here.
Dante is being worked on heavily. All's fair in love and war, gentlemen. I saw nothing but effective offense.
Tag, tag made.
Double axe handle. Here's a combo of strikes. Wow, chucked right out of the ring. Ooh, to pick up speed and a big kick to the side of the face. Gets clobbered with the axe handle. Knee just being torn apart now. He's headed up high, up high, denied and reversed into the power slam.
Countered with the knee to the face.
Backdrops laying down a gauntlet for their opponent.
A little of showboating from Hatrick.
Oh my!
Oh, square shot to the back elbows ends that.
Not where he wants to be right now. Right to the ribs, right to the gut. Counter! He knew just what to do.
He got out of dodge just in time.
First on the shoulders. Oh, feast your eyes! Bad spot for Patrick.
Ah, finally monumental victory!
Nah, seriously. Bro, this is becoming too easy now. So easy. I gotta prove myself.
I've heard about this impromptu match. Chad Gable, Chelsea Green, and Wesley backed themselves into a corner.
I've heard no such thing, Cole. These 3 superstars magnanimously accepted an reasonable challenge from these 3 competitors and will quickly dispense with them.
Maybe, Corey, but I'm rooting for the underdogs.
And makes the tag to their partner.
Caught with a punch.
Pow! What a shot!
Hey, we're all getting free tickets to the gun show. Oh, and a stomp right to the back. Look at this, just stomp after stomp after stomp. No respect being shown whatsoever with those stomps.
A double knee facebreaker! But now, stomp to the guts!
Oh, an insult to injury, placing her against the turnbuckle.
Buckle.
That's a good tag.
Tag's made.
Whips across the ring.
Double shoulder block!
That was that chemistry you cannot teach.
Oh, and an elbow caught him and cleared him to the floor.
She tags her partner in.
2, Running knee lift. Oh, kick right to the back, stomping their opponent, followed by a forearm smash.
That'll turn your lights out.
Double axe handle.
Damage is starting to take its toll on him.
He's still relatively fresh, But it wouldn't hurt him to tag out sooner than later.
And a stomp to the gut too, and Gable's hopes are waning in this one.
You got to wonder, what does this do to Gable's confidence? Saw it coming and avoided it.
The Saver is sick in trouble here. Oh, what a great counter!
That'll break it up.
Real European uppercut.
Oh, stiff punch cut off with a kick to the gut.
Arm sets, and look at these series of boots, and any one of those shots could take you out for good.
And a stomp to the gut.
Hard right hand. What are we going to see here?
Uh-oh, and he got there! He made the tag.
Oh, look at these kicks, rights and lefts, elbows, knees, all of them lethal.
Just going all out with every blow.
And off the tag.
Ooh, great anticipation!
Jack toying with his opponent a little bit.
Big impact off the neckbreaker!
That dodge can buy safety time.
Caving in the abdomen. Oh jeez! Oh my gosh!
Boom! Boom!
That puts her on the offensive.
Punch! What a punch!
Oh, sits straight into the corner hard. Oh, weakening the leg here.
What an elbow!
Just look at Garcia taking control here piece by piece.
Jody's chipping away.
What a barrage of stomps!
That was a showing of control and aggression, something they'll want to keep up.
Stomp after stomp, relentless. She managed to avoid that offense.
What a shot! Close fist connects.
Hey, we're all getting free tickets to the gun show.
Kick to the back.
Look at this, just—
that'll light up your chest.
You have to imagine the disdain it takes to repeatedly stomp someone like that.
Catch it, though. Punch!
Green is being stifled in this one.
Green has to find a way to right the ship here.
Just crashing to the arena floor. Power drop kick!
Drop kick finds the spot!
Oh my goodness, some intimidation tactics from Jordy Garcia.
Has to mind the referee here, has to avoid the count out.
Bang!
Ending up in harm's way yet again.
Lost shoulder up! Tremendous pinning combination. Breaks the close count.
That is just pure instinct at this point.
Shoulder tackle!
Drops the elbow!
What a counter by Chelsea!
Lands the elbow drop.
Chelsea for the win!
Man, that was a hard-fought win.
She's got to be proud of herself tonight.
Okay, that was kind of my bad. Hold up. No, it's kind of my bad.
Well, from what I've heard about this impromptu match, Chad Gable, Chelsea Green, and Wesley backed themselves into a corner.
I've heard no such thing, Cole. These 3 superstars magnanimously accepted an unreasonable challenge from these 3 competitors and were quickly dispensed with.
Maybe, Cole, but I'm rooting for the underdogs.
And a stomp to the gut!
She escapes the attack.
Running knee lift. Ow! Foot meet back.
She's starting to feel the effects of that offense.
We all know how competitive the women's division is. We're getting a big taste of that right here. And a series of vicious—
do a flip is crazy.
First off doesn't send you the message, the follow-up ones definitely will.
Oh, shot block!
Brilliant, right to the back of the knee.
Focus that attack at the base. Can't put together much offense with no base.
Body shot!
Boom!
What a punch! Tagged with a punch! Oh man, gut kick! Nothing fancy there. Foot to the midsection! Action. Wow, that was a vicious display.
You can almost see the disdain in their eyes.
Oh, catapulting down on the opponent. Cover, shoulders are down. He could have had this wrapped up.
Not sure why he let up.
That's mounted with punch and not—
and a stomp to the gut too.
He tags out. He knew what was coming there.
Right into the schoolgirl.
She breaks the count quick.
Impressive to not even allow a 2-count at this juncture.
Big punch finds its mark, and she quickly turned that around. Straight forearm!
What a pump kick!
She gets bounced into the corner. Chelsea on the receiving end.
Boomerang the button!
Quipped into the corner with tremendous force.
Do a flip. I mean, I wouldn't mind. I—
Chelsea one step ahead. Solid punch, just caught flush. Got face first. Cuffs.
Boom!
She's feeling every hit she's taken tonight.
I have no idea how she's still standing.
Oh, target acquired and destroyed! Incoming! And he counters! Wesley is just begging for a fight. From the middle rope, what a splash!
She's got her pinned.
Check out everyone, she just shocked everyone in the ring.
Oh man!
Big splash!
There's the tag, and it is on!
A running elbow drop! Oh, and an uppercut by Lockwood Tooth! Oh, impact directly into the cover!
The damage is done.
Nasty right hand hits a guy into the floor. Manages to reverse it. Catches a punch. Oh, ricocheting off the turnbuckles. Boom! Good defense from him.
Looking for the suplex all the way up. Look at this power. Oh no, escapes, and a chop block takes him down.
Got face Reverse Cuts.
Uh-oh, has to find a way out of this.
Sends the knee into the face.
That'll stop you.
Gable setting his sights and lining him up.
Big ball— oh, walloped by a huge club.
He's quick to get out of the way Ooh, merciless looking blow!
Oh, what a boot to the face!
Just end this now!
Oh, he's playing possum!
It only gets a 1 count.
I can't believe it, he just won't go away.
Driving the elbow. The axe handle finds the mark. Knee strike! Oh my goodness, one step ahead of Trent there. Strong right forearm drop suplex.
Wesley setting up in the corner, sizing up his opponent. What are we going to see here? A front flip DDT!
Could that be enough for the win?
Climbing up the corner.
Looks to their partner and tags out with the Samoan Driver.
She's been slowed down yet again.
At this point in the match, I say make the tag and recover as much as you can. Spiking DDT!
Oh my God!
Hurricanrana!
Watch the educated hands and feet, like he's got 11 arms and feet. Waiting to strike, brace for impact. Don't do it! Suicide dive to the outside. Cole does it better, soaring out of the ring.
Ring, looking to do as much damage as possible.
Oh man, right to the arm!
Hyperextend your elbow. Climbing to the top. What's he have in store? Where the height—
ah, crash and burn! This can't be good.
They just missed wildly from the top.
Yes! And Lee telling the crowd to watch him. Clothesline!
Well, that'll leave a mark.
Uh-oh, arm Arms are trapped, no way to protect themselves. Rapid fire stomps to the back. Oh, that's going to sting your back.
Now a cover on Wes Lee.
He's able to beat a 2 count.
Kicking out now sends a very clear message. Wes needs to get his wits about him fast.
And it scattered him out with the back elbow. Big forearm step aside, avoiding damage.
He got it!
Tag me! Look at this, stomp after stomp after stomp. Oh, the physicality on display there, unbelievable!
And going for body blows is a good way to drain your opponent.
Oh, Chelsea must be phased after this string of action.
Chelsea needs to find a way to recover. Down!
Is this it? Rolls off the pin at 2.
This is no time to hesitate. You can feel the end coming.
She's tossed right out of the ring.
Oh man, Wes gets the better there.
Wes is pushing back now.
Wes showing how hard it is to fully shut him down.
Oh, one step ahead there. Oh, clubbing blow into the COVID for the win! Kick out!
She still has life!
Good Lord, scarily close to 3.
Oh, a nasty stomp to finish it off. He's just stacking up these attacks.
He's staying on the offensive.
Out!
Bam! Listen to the impact targeting the body.
And I ask, the way these combatants have been unloading on one another, how are they still going?
I think they're running on pure adrenaline alone now.
Oh my God, can this be it?
Is this the end?
He breaks the pin, keeping his team in this one. Oh, Chelsea just can't stop this attack.
Green has to find a way to right the ship here.
Up into the torture rack. Beast just That could end Chelsea's night.
Cover! It is an X!
Finally, it's over!
Finally! My God, I thought I would never win.
It all comes down to this one final match to determine the winner of Roman's 6-person tag team tournament.
It may not be for a championship, but you've got to imagine that the winners will be in prime position to earn Roman's WWE contract.
Do you think Roman's watching?
The Tribal Chief is always watching. Waist lock!
No, no, no! Belly to belly! My goodness! And she anticipated what was coming.
Oh my goodness!
You want to control the tempo, you want to dictate the pace. That right there is how you do it.
Big splash!
Well-placed elbow drop!
Stomp after stomp after stomp.
Oh man, that's like death by a thousand cuts.
From the middle rope, what a splash!
And in this, she won't be having a good night if he allows more offense like that.
I know you don't expect her to make it through this match without any sort of damage, Cole, but don't forget she has partners who can share some of the load should things really come to that point.
A measured elbow drop. Boom! Oh, what a kick!
Boom!
Kick finds it.
Boom!
Good defense there. Caught with a punch.
She's taken into the corner. Knees to get out.
Lands a timely reversal. What a punch! That'll ring your bell. What a way to get out of that one.
Float over.
Oh, float over!
Nice DDT!
Tag made.
Big forearm Oh, what a nasty knee lift!
Oh, this is going to hurt.
Stomp to the belly! Elbow drop!
Great height!
Big boot!
Jeez! Oh, the heel hook stretch!
Her shoulders are down.
This could be it. She just kicks out!
Just the slightest bit of hesitation in the COVID could have been all the difference there.
Dominating shoulder tackle.
She makes the tag. Oh, and a rear superkick from behind. Nasty. Oh, stop it there, stop it there, stop!
Jeez!
And we have a pin attempt, and the referee stops the count before 2.
Easy kick out there, but they'll get harder soon. Oh my gosh, what impact! That's going to get— pick the wind right out of you.
Escapes with a knee to the gut.
Oh, toss to ringside. Oh, brought back into the ring from the floor now. Grabbled back to her partner and gets the tag.
Vicious running knee lift.
Things are looking a little rocky for her.
Yeah, Cole, this has been a grueling match so far, but I don't think I would ring the bell just yet.
Straight—
that could have suffered a lot of that damage. Ooh, well-planted knee.
Ouch.
Destructive use of the knee.
A heel hook locked in. You can almost hear the opponent yelling in agony.
Grabs the leg Sweep. Tag made. He's able to avoid heavy contact and he turned it around. Oh, clubbing blow.
Tag made, fresh partner in.
Ooh, he's not in a good spot here, guys. Trent with the retaliation. One step ahead of Trent there.
Shoulder tackle.
Oh no, getting into position. What's he planning to do here?
Got this one locked in extra tight. This might be it.
And he very quickly counters.
Super kick!
Wow, moonsault! Beautiful!
Connecting with a standing moonsault.
Oh, kick right to the back! Standing moonsault! Gets all of it. Man, what a forearm on point!
Shaw seems to be executing his game plan, and he has to turn this around.
And quick, right to the leg.
Oh, right to the back.
Oh man, what a sliding ripper! Wards that off.
What a response! Neckbreaker!
Ah, using the rope to their advantage.
Very effective, getting him right into the corner.
Double axe handle right on target. Big boot! Great agility, and that might shake Matrix's focus.
An eruption of offense from Shawna. Shoulder tackle! She tags her partner into the action. Oh man!
Pair of wicked German suplexes.
Super kick!
Getting off the tag here. She saw that coming.
Oh goodness, blasted right into the corner.
Smash out on the stops! And a stomp to the gut too. Oh, unloading a big kick to the back.
A narrow escape.
Lands an elbow. Man, just a multitude of strikes. Knee right to the face.
Oh man, she finds a hard landing on the outside. And now thrown back into the ring.
Oh, stop, stop, stop! And the forearm smash!
And a stomp to the gut.
Oh, dragon screw! Rolling elbow finds its mark. Ouch!
There's the tag with a lariat, and she heads out to the floor.
Obviously was a knee of a breather.
And a clothesline!
Look at this, just unloading! And a stop to the gut too.
Uh-oh, in position, waiting for an opening. Perched on the shoulders. Boom! Feast your eyes, no No way Donald recovers from that.
He comes to the rescue for his team.
She had that scouted. Oh God, she's starting to struggle here.
This has been an arduous tag match, but she could be in much worse shape.
Attacking the body, bruising the To the stomach! Clothesline! What impact! Oh, and a rear superkick from behind! Nasty rapid-fire stomps! To the back.
Oh, a nasty stomp to finish it off.
Spiking DDT and down for the count. She gets the shoulder up.
Obviously still has some fight left.
Brutal knee right to the face.
Oh, that'll finish the COVID Is it in? Fights out at 2. A long 2 and a half in the waning moments of this match. Boom!
Oh my!
Oh, look at these kicks!
Wow!
Back elbow completely cuts them off.
Close eyes! They are so effective, man! The neckbreaker!
And now placed in the corner.
The reversal!
He saw that coming.
Boom, boom!
Persistent barrage. Talk about force.
That'll give you whiplash.
Brutal knee to the side of the face. Last second knee to the face there.
Bam! Strike!
Rights and lefts, elbows, knees, all of them lethal. Trading counters here, stops that offense from connecting. Oh, solid kick across the back! Oh, and he manages To reverse.
Oh, scared of that one.
Here's a combo of strikes, knee right to the face. Rolling elbow right on the mark. Got caught in the jaw with the knee.
Opposite Opportunity now for him to capture some momentum, and this moment could be what jumpstarts his comeback.
She's failing to put up any resistance here.
Matrix is just trying to weather the storm.
Oh yes, stomp after stomp after stomp!
Hard right hand.
What are we going to see here?
Uh-oh, spiking DDT! Uh-oh, saw it coming, counters it!
Finally got him!
I can't believe this match is finally over. Shit, that match took forever.
I was like, what the fuck?
That match took forever. Honestly, like, but this island thing, I'm loving it, I'm loving it. Wait a minute, why is Paul Heyman here? Oh shit, don't tell me I finished it first than Lawrence.
Hey Lawrence, if you watching, I did it! I did it! Yeah, skill issue, baby.
Let's go, let's go!
Good job, that's what I'm talking about, wise man.
I—
hey, I would have come down there myself, but It appears you handled it.
And that's what I need.
That's what your tribal chief needs.
Somebody he can rely on.
Somebody he can trust. I, I need somebody around here that not only deserves a WWE contract. No, I need somebody who deserves membership. Membership in the bloodline. Keep it up.
Keep it up.
So it looks like I finished chapter 1 and chapter 2 is not, um, out yet. Yeah, so yeah, um, let me— I guess I can compete in like other levels and stuff, and yeah.
Mm-hmm.
The bell is rung on this Extreme Rules match.
Not the type of match for people with a weak constitution to participate in or to witness. Are you sure you're going to be all right for this one, Saxton?
Uh, I'm okay for now. I'll avert my eyes when things get ugly.
Wow, you can't get caught in a hailstorm like that if you You want to win.
Knee right to the face, man. Strikes!
Oh my goodness, just striking at will. Eats a punch to the face.
Setting it up.
Boom! Uh-oh, thrown off with a hit. Toss. Oh, that's mounted with punches and not—
and a stomp to the gut too.
Oh, and it's reversed.
Oh, look at this wicked striking ability, like he's got 11 arms and feet.
And now headed to the outside. Absolutely no telling what's underneath the ring tonight. Uh-oh, he's searching for something.
He's looking to absolutely destroy his opponent with that chair.
He'll make his way to the ring.
Oh, vicious running knee lift.
He's no longer looking at his back.
He is feeling the effects of Extreme Rules, quickly suffering a good bit of pain.
I know it's not extreme, but it wouldn't hurt to maybe try and be cautious in this match.
It's easy to crash and burn quickly if you're not more careful.
That's actually a smart strategy, Saxton. Using your brain in an Extreme Rules match can actually make you more dangerous, believe it or not.
Forearms from the second rope, driving down And he's really being relentless right now, attacking again and again.
It's all him right now.
Oh, he had that scouted.
Crucial turnaround there because he was falling behind.
Yeah, he clearly just got a much-needed boost of energy and defiance.
It is his time to take care of business.
Okay, he should really focus on the match now.
That puts an end to that, thank goodness.
Evasive maneuvering there.
Oh God, that might have punctured something. And these attacks are spelling nothing but trouble. Here he comes, sliding back into the ring.
Steel chair to the temple!
And now he's just facing an unyielding assault.
He's got to find a way to shift the fight in his favor.
Going for sliced bread!
Oh, countered into a power slam! Running knee lift!
Ooh, boom!
And he moves in for the— gets his shoulder up before the 2 count.
Just kicking out at 1 takes a lot in a match like this.
Caught that and reversed it.
Here's a combo of strikes.
Knee right to the face.
Nothing was being held back with each of those strikes.
Listen to the impact.
Up into the torture rack. Feast your eyes, he's got this one in the bag now. No, he beats the count. Can you imagine how much escaping that pin must have cost him. I can't—
these are the moments where you really find out how tough you are, and there needs to be a refocus now.
That was the moment that could have ended things, a moment that's being replayed in their heads right now.
And just eating a knee on the reversal.
Oh, turns it around, struggling to get back on his feet, looking lost out there. Ooh, harsh kick. Uh-oh.
Oh, and he lift— setting him up for the flatliner. Lining up and stalking the fallen opponent. This could be the beginning of the end.
Fast thinking, Sagan.
There, competition at its finest.
This is what it's all about.
Yeah, these competitors are refusing to back down, and that's what everyone loves.
First on the shoulders. Oh, that beats your eyes!
That could just have ended things.
Oh, not yet. They just got the shoulder up somehow.
Some way escapes defeat.
Still alive.
I thought it was over. The WWE thought it was over, but you got to do a little more to finally finish this.
Somehow still in this fight. Knockdown and out.
Yeah, steered away there.
Hard punch.
Okay. Get loose, have some fun.
And another one!
He's making his way to ringside now.
I guarantee that chair is not going to be used as it was designed for.
Running knee lift, another attack to the head, and looking a little dazed.
God, chair shot delivered!
Any one of these attacks could cause irreparable damage, but I don't think you can come back. This has to be it. He picks up the win!
Let's go, bro!
Nice carry! Character though. Nice character.
He definitely got the job done tonight.
With a win like that, he just stood up and commanded the attention of everyone in the WWE Universe.
It was GG match though. It was a good match. All right, cool. We could do a rematch.
The following content And his opponent, from São Paulo, Brazil, weighing in at 460 lbs.
The tension building for this match is so thick you can cut it with a knife. A lot of drama involved with this one.
He said he'll steal the show here tonight, and he looks—
this is a match where these WWE Superstars take it to the max, to the extreme.
There are no rules.
As an agent of chaos myself, I've always had a little bit of a soft spot in my heart for Extreme Rules.
Oh, there's no question that Extreme Rules is in a category all by itself.
Oh, some people look forward to Halloween, some look forward to New Year's Eve. Me personally, Personally, I look forward to every Extreme Rules match on our shows.
Here's the dive.
Oh no, wait, maybe not.
You got fooled again, Byron.
Springboard into a hurricanrana.
Tossed caution out the window and it paid off.
Adrenaline is through the roof now.
Looks like he He's coming back in. Oh, quick way to respond with a reversal, and I think that just opened him up.
Yep, yep, certainly did.
Goodness, look at the blood flowing.
Leaping into the wheelbarrow, up and around.
Boom!
He's really trying to sneak this win early.
It's going to take more than that to keep him down.
Not the Worst idea going for a—
nah, he quit.
Yo, ain't no way this dude actually quit. Ain't, ain't no way this dude actually quit. Bro, this dude did not quit, bro. Bro, I can't believe that person quit though. So yeah, so that was the, that was the end of the, the story. But, um, we could do the MyRise thing. I want to try it.
It's not often that the Chief Content Officer Paul Triple H Levesque is here on Raw. He must have some major news to share.
Let's hear what the Game has to say.
As you all know, we've been building a new era in WWE, a direction that's bolder than anything you've ever seen before. But to forge this path, we need talent who can rise to the occasion, whether that's someone who's already here or an outsider ready to step in and lead the charge. Who is going to be the superstar to lead us to that next level? Well, we're going to answer that that question starting next Monday on Raw with the WWE Draft.
The WWE Draft kicks off next Monday.
That's huge news.
Raw and SmackDown GMs Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis have decisions to make that will shape the future of WWE. Now I know I'm supposed to be impartial, but as a Chief Content Officer, I'm gonna drop drop a couple of hints about who I think will be selected number 1 overall and become the leader of this new era. This individual is going to be a force in the men's division for years to come. I've seen his potential for greatness already as, as one of the top superstars on Raw. They could be the next EST, the next American Nightmare, or better yet, carve their own path to lead the new era of WWE. It all starts at the draft when we we take the next step in WWE's revolution.
Sounds like the CCO thinks one of Raw's top names might be going number one.
All about the— can you say it's all about the game?
The winds of change are blowing. I wouldn't mind.
I'll be ready.
Well, if it isn't the subject of all those draft rumors.
What do you mean? Come on, since Raw has the first pick pick? You could put an end to all the speculation and just tell me who you're picking first.
My lips are sealed, but I will say that I doubt tonight is your last match on Raw. Oh, and speaking of the draft, make sure you look good up there on the stage.
What are you getting at?
I know in the past you had to wear whatever the office told you to for your non-ring attire, and sometimes you'd even have to— but things are different now. Like Hunter said, it's a new era with fewer restrictions, so you can wear whatever casual attire you want to express who you are. Got it?
Yeah, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.
Okay, but more importantly, make sure you look good in your match tonight. Can't have my potential first pick losing the week before the draft.
And here's the man whose name is on everyone's mind.
The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from New York, weighing in at 163 lbs, Superstar!
There's been a lot of speculation about this guy's future, and if you've seen him in the ring, you can understand why.
Rumors are just rumors, but a strong showing here against Montez Ford could help turn those rumors into reality.
Let's go! Hey, hey, hey!
That draft might be a week away, but this match starts now. Montez Ford is here and he wants the smoke.
And his opponent, representing the Street Profits, from Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 232 pounds, Montez Ford.
So I've said that the one thing holding Montez Ford back is his perceived inability to take things seriously, to seemingly turn everything into a joke.
But when you're as athletic as he is, sometimes you can't help but be a little cocky.
Uh, he's developed somewhat of a killer instinct lately, and is ready to prove the doubters and naysayers wrong. We all want the smoke.
You can't handle the smoke.
Yes, I can.
With all the talk about presumptive draft picks and Triple H's cryptic messages, we might be forgetting about Montez Ford.
Good point, Corey.
Montez is a former Royal Rumble winner who's coming back from injury. I'm sure he'd love to make his own statement about WWE's pecking order.
Both superstars have a lot on the line and a lot to say about it, and they will certainly let their fists do the talking.
What a barrage of stomps!
And repeated impacts like that will weaken you mentally.
From the middle rope— oh, what a splash!
And Montez Ford finds himself on the defensive.
Yeah, Ford's having trouble fighting back.
Dropping the bow!
Ford unable to fast talk his way out of that attack's path.
Oh, and a kick!
Oh, what an interception!
Into a dragon screw leg whip!
He averts the offense.
Neckbreaker!
Look at this, just stomp after stomp after stomp. Each of those boots seem to get heavier with each blow.
Oh my, what a splash!
And it's really hard to watch him just be pummeled like this.
This is the type of scenario where he needs to get inventive, and that might start the momentum swing that might—
oh, schoolboy! Shoulders down here!
Turns the tables! Shoulders down!
And he gets the shoulder up before 2!
Strong kick out, but you have to wonder if he can keep it up.
Dodges away.
Clothesline!
Heading out, but needs to be aware of the referee's count.
He quickly slides into the ring, and Ford's resolve might be wavering here.
Somehow Montez has to turn the tide.
Trading back and forth blows now.
Bam!
Slugging away with everything they've got.
Looks like a hockey Fight's just broken out.
Ooh, who will break first? That is the question. Each exchange just sapping the energy from these two. The willpower, the sheer guts of these two. Oh, ouch! This is a war of attrition with neither superstar wanting to be the—
no more holding back, going all out now.
Looks like we know who won that exchange. German suplex, but that's not all.
Into a ripcord lariat!
What a combination!
Montez is in a very vulnerable position here.
Kick to the midsection.
Oh, this is so much fun to watch. All the momentum into a spinning powerbomb. Will Ford recover? The cover!
And a win!
That may be one of the biggest wins of his career. Here is your winner, let's He's about to be drafted number 1.
He's got the talent, the drive, and the win here tonight.
He certainly helped his cause, Saxton. Nothing's a sure thing until it's a done thing, but it would be a surprise if all those rumors turned out to be false.
What a huge night we have on Raw with the start of the WWE Draft.
There's rumors this superstar will be staying on Raw as the top pick.
Yeah, I know it was really hard work to make this character though.
I know there's a lot going on tonight with the draft, but I wanted to sneak in a couple interview questions. Is that okay?
No problem, Kathy. It's always good talking with you. What do you want to know?
For anyone who hasn't been paying attention the past couple of years, how would you define your personality?
I'll go with what I use on my dating app. I don't like to take things too seriously. I like a good reality TV show, scrolling endlessly through silly pet videos on my phone, and when I'm not busy with that, I enjoy bashing people's heads in. So I guess you could say I'm a bit more comedic and fun.
Ah yes, the resident WWE class clown. What can you say about the rumors that are swirling around tonight?
They're all true.
Akam and Rezar and I are starting a boy band.
Uh, I meant the rumors about you going number 1 overall in the draft.
Oh right, well, it would mean a lot, but it's just an opportunity. You still need to win matches and championships or None of this draft stuff matters.
Well, I know you're busy, so I'll let you go for now. Thanks again, and good luck with the draft.
Good to see you. Hey, boss.
So how you feeling? You ready for tonight?
What's tonight?
The draft.
Oh, I was mainly here to work on some choreography with Akam and Rizar, but I guess I could squeeze in some time for the draft.
Good one. I got to get going, but you should be proud of everything you've accomplished to get here. You've earned it. See you out there in a bit.
It's time to kick off the WWE Draft.
Thank you, but tonight is not about me. It's about launching this company in a new and exciting direction, and that all starts with the announcement of the top overall pick.
Please let me be drafted! Please let me be drafted!
Draft me, please!
WWE Draft, Raw is honored to select the future of WWE.
There they are, the number 1 pick in the WWE Draft, into Wow, it's a good one!
Talk about making a splash. Adam Pearce got himself a generational talent.
We heard all the rumors, but seeing this play out now really lives up to the hype.
Good luck topping this, SmackDown.
Standby, there's some kind of technical issue here.
Talk about ruining a moment.
What the heck?
Who was that?
Where's the security.
Can someone explain what just happened?
Okay, got it. The draft will continue after this break.
First of all, we have a good relationship.
I wouldn't assume the two things were connected. Could have been unrelated technical difficulties. Either way, I don't think it's anything to worry about. Better to focus on the positive and move on.
Pay no attention to the crazed masked attacker. Understood.
I'll set up a match for you next week on Raw, and it'll be against a local competitor you'll be sure to dominate. After that, no one will be talking about what happened tonight.
Hey, you all right?
Not how I imagined draft night going, but we've both seen stuff like this in WWE before. On to the next thing, right?
Listen, I know management wants us to brush things like this under the rug, but I'm not sure it was a one-time event. Besides, how does some random person get access to the Tron?
That's what I said.
Look, if I were you, I'd keep your head on a swivel. I'm just speculating, but this could be the start of something bigger.
I agree. I'll be ready if and when something happens again.
That attack came out of nowhere. Are you okay?
Hey, Troy, I'm a lot more angry than I am hurt.
That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about. The perfect way to blow off a little steam.
You got any idea who was under that mask? Because that's who I'd like to get my hands on.
I do not. However, since I got promoted, which was definitely based on merit, not because Roman Reigns landed on me at WrestleMania and Triple H felt bad about my numerous injuries, I've been put in charge of booking the matches for our live events.
Congratulations.
You should be congratulating yourself because I've got my eye on you to be the main attraction for our next big tour.
I appreciate it, Troy, but I'm focused on figuring out who jumped me and then enacting some very disproportionate revenge.
That's exactly why you should compete compete in some live event matches. It's the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills and max out your abilities. Trust me, you won't believe the kind of rewards you'll get with live—
Fine, Troy. Next time you have a live event opportunity, hit me up.
You're the best!
Thanks so much.
You'll find me waiting for you when I'm ready to book the next bunch of shows.
Can't wait.
All right, I'm ready.
Let's do this.
Wow, where did they get this competitive? From.
The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Louisville, Kentucky, weighing in at 260 lbs, Adrian—
I'm not really fond of most local competitors, but this is more like it. What was this guy's MMA record, Saxton?
Uh, 0-12 in professional fights and one draw that was overturned to a loss.
Of course, why do these guys do this to themselves?
Or to me, rather.
The first overall draft pick is ready for action.
And his opponent, from New York, weighing in at 163 lbs, the Superstar!
It's great to hear the crowd give this superstar the reception he deserves, especially after what happened last week.
Absolutely, Saxton. That unexpected attack might have spoiled his draft night, but tonight he's got a chance to make his own lasting impression.
A new era for Raw and its top draft pick starts right now.
This man is no stranger to a WWE arena. But it's got to feel different stepping into the ring for the first time as the number 1 overall draft pick.
I'm sure it does, Byron, but now that the bell's rung, he's not the number 1 pick anymore. He's a superstar on Raw who's got to fight and compete just like anyone else, and he's got a target on his back now.
If he doesn't prove he can live up to his reputation, no one's going to care where he was drafted.
Uh-oh.
Oh, saw it coming and got an elbow for their trouble.
Oh my Lord, push!
Hey, we're all getting free tickets to the gun show.
Kick to the back, and Buck took a battering there. Oh my goodness, you got to wonder if there's more animosity in this match than we previously thought.
Now trampling the opposition.
Adrian looking helpless to every attack.
Yeah, Buck's got to slow down this assault.
Adrian looking to get back in this.
Buck tipping the scales a bit here.
You're doing it!
He counters with a great reversal. Oh, what a dropkick on the mark!
Hey, we're all getting free tickets to the gun show! Kick to the back, got out of the way, but can he capitalize?
And enters back into the ring.
What a shot! Flawless reversal and an elbow!
Tagged with a punch.
Oh, targeting the stomach.
Adrian looking helpless to every attack.
Yeah, Buck's gotta slow down this assault.
Oh, what a kick! Vicious return fire on Adrian. No idea how he's even able to continue in this match.
Yeah, he's on his back foot now.
I don't see things turning around in his favor.
There's the clothesline!
And his body has taken a lot of the punishment.
Oh, look at this, showing off with a big flex and then a kick to the back.
He wants this fight on the outside. He's heading back to the ring.
Uh-oh, Buck comes right back at him.
Ooh, sharp elbow! Hoist it up high here. Exhibiting a cover here.
Is it enough?
Oh my, how in the world did he kick out of that?
Kicking out there really has to make his opponent question his gameplay.
Oh, look at this, showing off with a big flex, and then a—
oh, and a stomp right to the back!
Oh, running elbow drop on target!
Look out!
Oh my, apron senton!
Elbow drop with authority. Now bringing the fight back into the ring. He's looking to make a moment here.
Oh yeah, that's right!
Kick to the gut, lifted way up, round and around and down we go.
Buck looks knocked out.
Going for the COVID What a resounding victory here tonight for the number one pick.
I agree, Byron, that was pure domination.
The hell Not this again, bro.
Again?
What the fuck?
I guess he's taking matters into his own hands.
Good, I'm sick of this.
And this time they're not getting away.
The Masked Assassin is regretting this now.
They might not be masked for much longer.
Is that Tony D'Angelo from NXT?
Not surprised with his track record.
We're going to go to commercial while we sort this out.
That's enough! Sit down and stay there!
What are we going to do with him?
We're going to get some answers, and we're going to get them right now.
You have no idea.
Normally I'd have a clever one-liner response. We'd maybe go back and forth a bit. It'd be a hoot. But it looks like I've got to be both good cop and bad cop. And bad cop says start talking.
The new era has arrived.
Is this about the draft? Because Triple H said it was the start of a new era.
It's been right in front of you, but you can't ignore it anymore.
What's been right in front of me, Lord Don? I think I've had about enough. We'll settle this when you face me in a match next week. Now get this attention-seeking mafia wannabe out of here.
So you got the bad guy, huh?
Looks like it.
I know Triple H and everyone is telling you this is over now, but I still think there's more to come.
I think so too. I don't think D'Angelo would do this on his own. Whether it's his family or someone else behind the scenes, there's got to be other people involved.
Exactly, and the entire roster should be on the lookout. I know I will be.
It's Raw's number one draft pick hoping to shut down their attacker.
The following is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from New York, weighing in at 163 lbs, The Superstar!
There's an extra degree of intensity from this superstar tonight. It looks like he's determined to put an end to Tony D'Angelo's attacks once and for all.
I'm sure he is, Saxton. This is a true grudge match. D'Angelo messed with the wrong guy here.
It is time for the Don to We're certainly no strangers to surprise attacks and deceptive actions, but this match feels especially personal.
You're not wrong, Cole. I'm honestly impressed.
The number—
a bear hug! Oh, the bear hug! And a way to get out of it is being on display right here.
Attack to the midsection, locking up, driving their legs, putting their opponent into a tight corner.
Oh, that'll shatter your chest!
And into the turnbuckle he goes, counters to gain the advantage.
Military press!
Look at this, just stomp after stomp after stomp! The proverbial mudhole has been stomped, and now it's time to walk it dry.
What a counter by Tony!
Each counter leaving these competitors at a stalemate.
Oh, good gravy! Thrown into into the corner with a little something extra.
Oh, great wherewithal there.
Reversal after reversal.
These two have counters for days.
Brutal impact into the corner.
He's looking to take things to the outside now. Back into the ring here.
Headed out of the ring, but the count is looming.
Uh-oh, look at—
what are they going to do? Oh, right to the face and to the back of the neck, and again.
Enough!
There's the clothesline!
Fearless to every attack.
Tony might be feeling a bit rattled.
Big splash!
He's got that look in his eye.
It's go time.
A great display, and that'll put an abrupt end to his little one-man show. Shows great wherewithal there.
Uh-oh.
Suplex released!
Oh man! Oh my, what a splash! Climbing to the top. What's he thinking?
From the top, elbow drop!
Pin on D'Angelo, just might do it. Oh, and he got it! Kick out at 2.
Both competitors competitors digging into wells they didn't even know existed.
Punch straight to the face, staves off the attack.
Countering each other again and again. German suplex, but that's not all.
Into a ring cord lariat!
What a combination!
Tony is completely out of sorts here.
I got him, bro! I got him!
I got him, bro!
Watch, watch, I got him! I'm about to end this man's whole career! Wow, I'm about to end this man's whole career!
1, 2, 3! The number 1 draft pick can now move on and focus on bigger goals.
Good riddance to Tony D'Angelo and whatever this was all about.
Now what?
Is that Charlie Dempsey?
What the hell is going on?
That's certainly Gigi Dolan.
Trick Williams from behind!
What is happening?
And now Tony D'Angelo's recovered and joining the NXT Champion. Clearly D'Angelo wasn't acting alone in all of this.
Yeah, I'm starting to see a common theme here, guys.
We got to get some help out here.
This is a full-on invasion, and the invaders are all from NXT.
We need help back there right now.
Adam Pearce is trying to intervene.
Nikita Lyons with a chair, and Pearce goes down too.
The NXT Unity Tag Champions have taken out CM Punk and Charlotte gets nailed too.
This is insane.
Please, somebody, anybody, do something.
We are under siege. It's Bayley and Kevin Owens. Finally!
You can't just come in here and do this without repercussions.
What the— Bayley and KO about this?
Are you serious?
What are we witnessing?
If you couldn't tell, this is a mutiny. Current and former members of NXT have united under one cause. We will no longer stand by and be treated like third-class citizens.
Members of the board, do we have your attention?
We will not stop until NXT is the one only brand left standing in WWE.
I'm just about speechless.
We've just witnessed pure anarchy.
It was a mutiny, Saxton. Bayley said it herself. Unbelievable.
So this is the My Rise. It's not the island thing. I passed the island earlier, so yeah.
Well, it's over for tonight at least.
Who really knows at this point?
I might be out for a bit after what they did to me, but the second I'm back, I need revenge on the NXT Unity Champions and every single person in involved.
I'm with you.
Good.
But don't forget, I warned both of you that this would happen, and no one listened.
I was wrong, I know, but this isn't the time to point fingers.
Yeah, it's the time to start listening to me. No one around here can be trusted.
No one.
This could go all the way to the top. Who created NXT and would stand to benefit from all this? Yeah, chew on that for a minute.
Look, I've already spoken to Nick Aldis and we're going to work together to fight back against this NXT mutiny. Raw and SmackDown are a united front, but we need a leader. I drafted you number one for a reason. I know you can step up to lead the charge.
After what they did to me, I don't need convincing. But what are we getting ourselves into? You heard what Punk just said about Triple H.
As usual, Punk's way out of line with that comment. I've been working side by side with Triple H the past few weeks to figure out what's been going on. There's no way he has anything to do with this.
I don't know what to believe at this point. I do know Punk was right about being careful who we trust though.
I know.
It seems like Bayley and KO have convinced most of NXT to join them, along with some other big names from our side. And we have to assume that any other NXT alumni from Raw and SmackDown might be one of them.
Then it sounds like we need to find someone from outside of WWE who could step in and join the fight against NXT.
You got someone in mind?
I do. I know just the person to turn the tide. They're from They're from a rival promotion. Okay, we grew up together.
When you know.
All right, sold. After you get them on board, let's talk next steps. And don't wait too long. We need to move fast before this NXT mutiny strikes again.
Oh, okay, so I gotta create a team now for my, my Rise character. Okay, bet.
Wow, you came all the way to Japan to see me? Must really be desperate for help against NXT.
Isn't fighting a rebellious mutiny exactly Is that exactly what lifelong best friends are for?
I thought they were more for exchanging birthday cards and the occasional random text. Maybe we could branch out.
What's up everyone?
Not to mention the fact Mutiny keeps adding copies.
So this is the My Rise theme. Earlier I passed the island again for those who didn't learn, who didn't, um, hear it. But yeah, the island was like a short story, so I'm waiting for Chapter 2.
So yeah, you know I'm ride or die with you. Let's do it.
Great.
Still here tonight, then we'll get started.
Okay.
Let's go, let's go. We're about to do this match in the women's division. So this is my partner. I'm not going to lie, bro, I'm good at making these characters, dog. All right, let's go! I'm about to end your whole career. Let's go, let's go!
So this is how number one draft picks live, huh? Nice.
The tour bus is nice, but more importantly, it's private. We need this space to talk strategy since who knows who might be listening back.
Good point. What about the GMs though? Can we at least trust them? Adam. Yeah, whenever I was bold and brash. Well, we need—
you scare me sometimes, but I like it.
I'm not gonna lie, we're gonna punch them right in the mouth. And the reason why I put her bald is because of that one reason. It's because basically the—
hello there, have a good flight down.
We were expecting the cosmetics and stuff, so basically, yeah.
For the uninitiated here, I'm Troy Simpkin, former WWE producer, now NXT Mutiny's top producer. We knew you'd be coming and we outsmarted you. NXT is clearly not broadcasting here tonight, and The set has moved to a secret undisclosed location.
You've got to be kidding me.
I'm afraid not, man. You should see the looks on your faces.
Can I strangle him? I want to strangle him.
I'm just the messenger.
Well, we came all the way here. We're not going to leave empty-handed.
I think I see where this is going.
Yeah, we're taking Troy with us. He clearly knows more more than he's letting on, and we can use him as a bargaining chip.
You're calling the shots.
This really isn't necessary.
I'm just a producer. I'm clueless.
We know. You're coming with us.
Please be gentle.
NXT Mutiny, you one-upped us. Well played moving the location of your show. But if you think you outsmarted us, think again. See, I've brought in someone to help even the sides, and she had a brilliant idea.
That's right. We have borrowed your top producer, Troy Simpkin. Say hello, Troy.
Uh, hello. Help, please.
All right, that's enough. So, NXT Mutiny. If you want Troy back, show up to Raw and fight us. I have my debut match later tonight, and your buddy Troy will be out there at ringside.
And unlike you, we're not going to run and hide. We're going to be exactly where we say we are.
See you soon.
Please show up.
Here she is making her WWE debut with what seems to be a 50% willing entourage.
The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making her way to the ring, from New York, Superstar!
Most would want all eyes on them for their WWE debut, but she seems fine sharing the spotlight.
She's not sharing the spotlight, Saxton. That's a Watchtower searchlight. She and her partner letting former WWE producer Troy Simpkin know that there's no escape from captivity.
Dude was really about to run. Like, bro, I get the whole slogan is yeet, but damn, chill.
So far, let's see how she fares in the ring.
Zelina might be little, but she is fierce.
And her opponent, representing the LWO—
I don't know why, but why does Zelina look like a ripped-off version of Cardi B or Nicki Minaj? No, that's a ripped-off version of Nicki Minaj. She's like if Nicki Minaj went to Family Dollar and they just bought her—
they ordered—
that's Nicki Minaj from Timu.
Selena was no stranger to success before, but now she seems destined for the top. I had heard this new addition to the WWE roster has a prisoner's mentality, but she seems to be bending her own rules here tonight.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, Saxton. Now, former WWE producer Troy Duncan may not be well-liked, but he's the bait they're using to draw Mutiny out.
The question now is whether Mutiny will bite the hook and how any of this may impact the fight going forward.
Springboard, but nobody home! Ooh, bullseye! Uh-oh, look out! Double leg drop! Dropkick!
Nasty kick.
Oh, and I can assure you that wasn't part of Zelina's usual cold and calculating strategy.
Up and down! What a slam! Had it scouted, now can capitalize. Going highbreaker.
Boom!
Catches a kick.
Spectacular counter into a dragon screw.
Standing shooting star press, showing off the quickness.
That'll turn things around in a hurry.
Middle rope forearm on point.
Consecutive high-risk maneuvers, and the pace of this match has certainly picked up.
Basement dropkick! What impact! Here's the pin, and she's not done yet.
Starting to see the tolls of this match add up.
Oh man, and Zelina finding herself on the defensive.
Zelina, she can end this thing right here.
Gets the Pull her up after one.
I can't believe the ref didn't get two here.
Boom!
She's letting the crowd fill her with confidence now.
She might want to turn her attention back to the match at hand.
Elbow on the spot!
She's all out of sorts here, unable to defend herself.
Yeah, this is a real predicament for her.
Taking a moment to fire up this crowd and herself.
Oh, come on, this is just ridiculous!
Now pay attention to your opponent.
There's a wheelbarrow.
Boom! DDT! And quickly now, shoulders down for the win.
What a match!
Massive mis— circulation on that one.
Oh, and Zelina can't stop any offense coming her way.
Tough night so far for Zelina.
Looking to end this, the schoolboy! What a forearm! And here we go.
Oh my God, she put in the work.
Now she's looking for the payoff. Looking for the pin.
It's over!
All in a night's work.
Here is your winner, the Superstar! What a debut!
She not only showed off the fearless, relentless approach we'd heard about, but also secured a huge win in her first match here at WWE.
And right in front of I can't believe my plan didn't work.
We both thought Mutiny actually cared about Troy, but like they said, I guess he's just a worthless twit.
Hey, I'm standing right here, and I'm just as shocked as you are that Mutiny didn't ride in on their white horses to save their prince. I wonder if I can get my old job back. Can either of you put in a word with Triple H?
We need to find something NXT actually cares about to lure them into a fight. Otherwise, they're going to keep dodging us.
What about their precious Unity Tag Team Championships? If kidnapping Troy didn't work, maybe we could title-nap those.
You might be on to something there. But how are we going to find out where they're broadcasting from?
I could help with that if you put in a good word for me.
Yeah, sure.
What can you tell us?
I may have been on a group text that mentioned the undisclosed location of their shows. But first, I'll need reassurances.
Troy, disclose it now.
Okay, fine.
Another successful Unity title defense for Alexis King and Jacy Jayne.
Hang on, we have some visitors from the Raw, SmackDown side.
How'd they find out where we are? Did you tell them Saxton?
It wasn't me, but they're taking the fight to the champions.
Good, it's about time.
It looks like we're going to have an impromptu brawl on our hands. This is an incredibly bold move to come down here and bring the fight to Mutiny.
It's bold and brilliant, Cole. Attacking in an undisclosed location, the Unity champs were totally complacent. They let their guard down and now they're paying the price.
I still can't figure out How they found us. You think my phone might have been hacked? And if so, do you think Mutiny would hold that against me?
That was a showing of control and aggression, something they'll want to keep up.
Meteor down across the neck.
Harsh forearm draped across the middle rope. And down!
His adrenaline is pumping right now.
Stump puller leg snap!
That's going to hurt, tear your hamstring.
Oh, come on, just take it back in the ring, pretty please.
Say a little louder, Saxton, I don't think they heard you.
Getting back into the ring now.
Oh, and a backbreaker right to the— from the apron, using the elbow as a weapon.
Hey, we're all getting free tickets to the gun show.
Caught in a bad spot.
Don't do this, don't do it!
Powerbomb into the barricade. The damage is really piling up now.
Yeah, she has seen better days. Today is not one of them.
Oh man, he grabbed the kendo stick. Everyone needs to watch out now.
Snapmare takeover.
Oh, right to the spine!
And she reenters the ring, brought down with a DDT, and this one could be moving to ringside.
From the heavens! Oh, what a chop!
That'll light you up.
Counter right when it was needed.
Both athletes showing incredible reflexes here.
Uh-oh, guys, we should probably take a step back here.
Punch connects. JC's in big jeopardy here.
King one step ahead, catching Jane off guard.
Oh my God, my God, that might end JC's chances. Oh no, eyes on the target.
Driven into the barricade.
Vicious right forearm. Oh, amazing agility.
Uh-oh, second rope.
That might be the best moonsault ever.
I agree.
King's legs are teetering. He might have nothing left.
DDT on the foot, and she's fine taking this to the outside.
And he now slides back into the ring. She's got a chair. I don't think I'll be able to watch what's to come. Oh man, bang!
We are witnessing a malicious string of attacks right now, producing a trampling.
Oh, seriously, neckbreaker!
Having trouble making it to a vertical base, and it looks like it's only going to get worse.
Oh, he timed that counter well.
Alexis King looking to set it up.
Uh-oh, stops the attack with a hit to the gut. Oh man, thrown with such Force.
The whole ring is rattling.
Countered into a Jawbreaker. Point of the elbow, nailed it. Calculating the next move here. Oh God, that hurt.
DDT!
Oh my, what What a splash! Wow, breathtaking standing shooting star! Oh, ouch!
Oh man, he's got him in the crosshairs.
Standing Spanish fly! Are you kidding me? And going for it again, the dragon twist cutter!
End of the line for King.
Struggling to find a base, time could very well be running out. Off the rope to the outside, tope on Hilo. Unbelievable athleticism, just going for it all and landing a direct kick. Oh, wicked kick to the lower back! And his stamina is going to drain fast taking shots to the torso like this.
She's headed outside now.
I wonder what her game plan is.
And that was a hell of a DDT there. Perhaps looking for some kind of equalizer here, grabbing a kendo stick.
Any connection with flesh will definitely leave a welt. Power slam incoming.
No, sliding in under the rope. She's back in the ring.
JC Jane is just begging for a fight.
Big clothesline! Oh man.
Oh, he quickly gets out of dodge.
Oh, what a forearm club. Boom!
Oh, oh, and each of these lethal maneuvers have got to be taking a toll.
She's had a lot thrown her way already.
Yeah, Jade was definitely hope—
oh, jaw-shattering!
Does Jade put this one away.
The Dominator, good night!
He's looking like easy prey, about to fall into a trap.
One wicked attack after another. Kick to the midsection, hoist it up, disorient.
Up high, all the momentum into a spinning powerbomb.
Big move could produce a win.
Kick to the mid section.
Oh, this is so much fun to watch. Revolutions into the spinning powerbomb.
That has to be the finishing blow he needs.
And he re-enters into rolling elbow.
We—
does Jade put this one away?
Gets driven into the corner.
What a counter shoulder tackle and a stiff shot to her core there. Oh my, what a splash! Crushing impact on the splash! Gosh, DDT planted!
Heading to ringside now.
Kendo stick impact!
Oh, oh!
Oh man, lands a kick to the gut!
He's certainly feeling that attack.
An eruption of offense from King.
She goes back into the ring.
Standing shooting star press!
Incredible!
She's amped and ready to show she's not one to be messed with.
Off the rope.
Beautiful, all the way down to the outside.
Absolutely reckless abandon, and it paid off.
Adrenaline's at a peak right now, and I think we just might see—
oh, it was a stunner!
That was the best one I've ever seen.
That's gotta be it here.
Oh, the hood of the announce table just ripped off here, and the monitors as well.
Some bad intentions here, guys. Let's hope this thing doesn't get any closer to us.
Hoping's a good start, but we might be better off just backing up now.
Go!
Spinebuster!
Making the climb to the top rope.
All right, into our—
from the top, diving senton! Oh, oof!
Lexus avoids the attack.
Uh-oh. Oh man, climbing up.
She got something big planned here.
King one step ahead. Oh my gosh, what impact!
Oh, he fights Lexis back.
She's trying one more time.
Dragon Twist Cutter, just a thing of beauty. And she's looking weak.
Kick to the gut, lifted way up, round and around and down we go. He has no idea what just hit him.
Dodges out of the way.
Ah, step-up pinzugiri! And Jayne pushing through to maintain her offense.
You can tell Jayne is waning but still might have enough to deliver one final blow. And all that's left is one thing, one finishing touch.
Slingshot, went for the springboard and missed.
Oh, in no way is this a good situation.
Power slam, good night! Boom!
Rolling elbow, will that do it for JC? Will that do it?
Alexis knows exactly what he wants to do next.
Alexis King looking to set it up, has the arms trapped, heading back into the ring now.
King can seal it here. Oh my God, rising to a vulnerable position. Trouble is looming.
Check out the springboard!
Can you see that?
Propelled through the air!
He's got a kendo stick! Jade's got her right where she wants her.
Oh, look out! Completely missed the mark there.
Oh, what a forearm!
Does Jade put this one away?
He's out of the ring. What does he have in mind now?
Into a facebuster!
Lexus up the turnbuckles.
Oh, that'll rattle you!
And Jane continuing her charge. Jayce is looking—
watch out! Missile drop kick!
Took a gamble once, took a gamble again, and hit the jackpot twice.
Oh!
Oh man, right to the arm!
Hyperextend your elbow. Oh, big mistake, and that error could be costly.
And there's a good blow to the body.
Great ring awareness saved him.
Up the rope he goes.
Oh, missed!
From the top, double elbow drop! Are you kidding me? Oh my, what a splash!
She turns that attack away. Just a debilitating neckbreaker.
Drop kick, middle rope.
She completely missed there.
Oh God, boom! What a punch!
Oh man, what a hit!
And these non-stop attacks on the torso have have more than done their job here.
We could be looking at broken ribs.
Ooh, under the ropes and back into the ring.
Big forearm.
He's able to reverse it. Good golly, Miss Molly!
Thunderous club comes down, very effective.
What a barrage of stomps.
Hold on, he's just measuring him now.
From the middle rope, boom! Right on target.
Took a mad kick to the gut. Lifted way up, round and around, and all the momentum into a spinning powerbomb. Will that be the finishing touch?
Headed out to ringside now. What does he have planned?
Oh, just one right after the other. Can't be stopped. Punch lands. Rolling elbow!
Does Jade put this one away?
And back into the ring she goes. Oh, come on, this is just ridiculous now.
Pay up high.
She's headed to the outside. No threat of count out here.
Trying to go for it again. Dragon Twist Cutter, that has to put her away.
Ooh man, better watch your step now. She's getting all sorts of fired up.
She's taking things to the floor here.
Oh my goodness.
Oh, nice bulldog!
He gets back into the ring.
Oh, all measured up.
Every successive move is putting their opponent in a dicey situation. Going up high with the punch.
Oh, that'll turn your skin red.
Jamesy's chained connects with a boot.
Haymaker connects.
Kick to the midsection. And now using the bottom rope to their advantage.
Look at this.
Ooh, evades the attack. Dominating shoulder tackle. He's slow to get up and unaware of the massive target on his back.
Kick to the midsection, hoisted up, disorienting spin, and big time powerbomb. Now he has to finish the job.
And down.
Moves from the ring to the outside.
Ducks through, up and over Selena Del Sol.
Back into the ring she comes.
Dominating shoulder tackle!
Running swanton!
Awesome!
She's honing in, staring daggers at her target. She's gonna try it again.
Holy moly, amazing display of athleticism! This could be the end right here. I think he's ready to blow the roof off this place.
Making way toward the top rope.
Uh-oh, way too—
completely throwing self-preservation out the window.
I don't know how your mind would even think about doing that. Uh-oh, look out! Dropping the double legs!
Incredible roundhouse kick. Ouch!
And Jaycee is taking on a lot of offense now.
Jayne is really having trouble with her defense.
Moving into the ring, and he needed that badly.
He is absolutely back in this fight.
Oh, suplex off the announce desk!
Boom, boom, to the floor.
Man, rolling elbow right on the mark. Does Jade put this one away?
Chop block!
Brilliant, right to the back of the knee.
Stalking here, could be a prelude to something big.
Back into the ring now.
Ah, club with a right forearm! Big impact! Bang, right in the face!
Textbook.
Okay, now I finally got to understand it.
Bring the fight to Mutiny.
It's bold and brilliant. I have to take the fight to the Unity ship. So, okay, so basically, let me go, bitch.
Found us. Do you think my phone might have been hacked. And if so, do you think Mutiny would hold that against me?
And if the first op doesn't send you the message, the follow-up ones definitely will.
She's ready to take this match to the outside.
Now clear.
Watch out!
Oh, right to the face!
Oh, she was ready with the counter.
What a forearm superkick! Jane's got her right where she wants her.
No, right forearm to the neck.
Looking for something, anything under the ring.
Settling on the kendo stick. No good can come from this.
Oh, she gets put in the corner, gets the reversal. What a counter!
Running Bulldog.
Oh, what a windup.
The action is a little too close for my comfort.
Standing precarious.
Uh-oh.
Oh, he flips that around. Ooh, what a damaging blow.
Boom!
What impact! Oh guys, look out! All the way to the outside.
I don't like where this is going.
Yeah, Cole, this has the possibility to completely unravel here.
D-lift right to the face.
Oh my goodness, just punishing their opponent.
King one step ahead, counters and taking things to another level now. And a vicious suplex to the floor.
Oh man, we all know what's coming here. Slingshot, went for the springboard and missed. Stomp after stomp after stomp.
Spinebuster!
Adrenaline pumping, here she goes.
Top rope, from the top, now an elbow drop!
Oh, it's a piercing elbow. She's got something in mind here.
Oh, we have to get the hell out of the way.
Rolling elbow right on the mark.
Will that do it for Jacy? Will that do it? And Jacy Jayne gets all of the discus big boot.
That unraveled on Jacy.
Overhand right lands, and she reversed it. Effective counter.
Ooh, elbow strike.
Trapped in the corner, and Jacy Jayne wants more from her opponent.
One step ahead there.
Whoa, suicide dive!
What a display of fearlessness we just witnessed.
That's the kind of attitude you need to take yourself to the next level, and he's going with the Great Equalizer here.
The steel chair caught with a clothesline. Setting up for something here.
Alexis King keeps a vicious buckle suplex, and JC's nailed with a stun gun. The champs are down.
Where are they headed?
Let's go! I finally perfected that shit.
I think they're leaving.
Thank you for your titles, bitches.
They've come in here and stolen the NXT Unity Tag Team Championships.
I love it!
Score one for Raw and SmackDown.
I saw what you did by invading NXT's secret location and acquiring their Unity Championships. Bold move.
Thanks. I don't think you've been introduced to the newest team member in our fight against mutiny. We've known each other since we were kids.
I know all about you. Welcome to WWE. But I do have to remind both of you, I've decided to remain neutral in this whole issue with NXT. I'm too close to it, so this isn't our fight. And besides, when it comes to competition, it's not just a catchphrase. It really is what's best for business.
Is it though?
Like you said, you're too close to this. Might be clouding your judgment.
I know you're new here, so I'll let that slide.
Bottom line, we're going to do everything we can to stop mutiny.
And if that happens?
Here are the borrowers of the Unity titles.
You gotta love the swagger to walk into this arena holding those two belts they didn't even earn.
Hey, they are the current Unity Tag Title holders. It's just in this case, I mean that literally. They are holding the titles. Yeah, about Remember guys, the title is on the line here in this one, and I don't remember the last time the champ was in this much jeopardy. Cole, tonight might just be the night the title changes hands.
There you see what's at stake— the NXT Unity Tag Team Titles. Lexis King and Jason have successfully defended their Unity titles multiple times, and you can bet they're itching to reclaim their stolen belts tonight.
Yeah, but those defenses were practically gift-wrapped with handpicked opponents in favorable locations. Tonight they face a real challenge.
We will see.
These two new allies have a history, but the big question is, can they gel in an official match and walk away with some hardware?
Oh!
Cuts the attack off and targeting the leg there.
Now a big swing of momentum against Kane.
Lex is unable to use his wide arsenal here.
Place him in the corner here.
Are you ready? Are you ready?
Here we go!
Ah, the challenger really taking it on the chin here.
Stomp after stomp, the pin for the championship.
He's able to kick out before 2.
Still has enough energy for the simple kick out.
Nailed it!
Guard coming in off the tag.
Tag, there it is!
It's running, Swanton! After the corner, drop kick right on the money! The champ with the cover!
She was close to the end there.
Somehow, some way—
oh, that hurt to the Fine, picking the spot.
Standing shooting star press.
Quick reflex is so important in a match like this, and Jayne reverses it. Check your face after that one.
Oh, jelly legs, about to stumble head first into danger. Holy time off defense there. From behind, back suplex!
Oh, straight forearm!
There's the tag.
There's a wheelbarrow into the DDT!
Tag made. Oh my, what a splash!
Look at this, just stop after stop after stop.
Oh man, that's like death by a thousand cuts.
Here we go and does it.
Inside cradle applied, shoulders down.
The champion with his shoulder up before 2.
Not getting the 2 at this point has got to say something.
Oh my gosh! Oh my, what a splash!
The challenger's in a bad way, and making a tag has to seem like a good idea right about out now, using all their body weight.
Big elbow drop!
Oh, Jane has no control here.
Jane is really having trouble with her defense. Leaping into the wheelbarrow, up and around.
Boom!
DT. Could be thinking of high-risk offense here. Uh-oh, way too—
oh, bad landing!
That's not what she had planned.
Ooh!
Oh, he cuts it off!
We're seeing one response after another, neither superstar gaining a foothold.
Leaning on on the turnbuckle here.
She's making the climb to the top rope.
Defiance from the challenger telling the champ, you won't break me.
Oh, look at the elbow! Look at—
just hammering away in the back. with a small lift back, getting sucked.
Oh, the challenger's looking down and out there.
Oh, he surely doesn't have much left in him. It's like we're looking at the Walking Dead here. Incredible torque on a swinging neckbreaker. Tagged in here from the top.
Oh man, he landed rough there.
Dominating shoulder tackle, and his core might be a bigger target now.
Bam!
Suplex! He puts him into the corner, charging up the arm, and there's the clothesline! The champ goes for the COVID No, he gets the shoulder up!
Getting that shoulder up now is huge.
Ooh, just bouncing off the turnbuckle. There's the pin for the championship! Oh, by a hair! This title fight continues. How in the world did he do that, man? What timing on that counter! A clinic of counters being put on by these competitors.
Kick to the midsection, looking for the Straightjacket, into the Backstabber, and he's tagging his partner in.
Oh, neckbreaker!
JCJ just couldn't get out of harm's way there.
Oh, what a kick!
Maneuvers out of the way. Oh, you bitch!
You know what, fuck you. You know what, that's it, you know, fuck you. Get the fuck out of this ring.
We're going to shut this down.
1, 2, she kicks out with force, getting dangerously close to ending it all there.
Shot to the face gets them out of that spot.
Chess match of counters and reversals happening here.
The challenger is getting torn into.
Yeah, this tag team match has seen its fair share of tide changes, and it's not over yet. Into a ripcord lariat.
What?
Thunders are down.
To retain, got him!
And the tag titles stay put.
And I still won. Wait, what do you mean you failed the following objective? What do you mean?
How so?
You failed the following objective: as superstar, grab JC and Jane. I was supposed to grab both of them in the ring, but how the fuck do I do that? What the fuck? All right, bet. I'm down for a rematch. All right.
Lexis King and Jacy Jayne have successfully defended their Unity titles.
All right, this time I'm not gonna lose, bitch. This time I'm not gonna lose. I'm gonna stun you first. I'm gonna stun you you first, bitch. I'm fucking your ass up first. Got me fucked up, then we lost, right?
But the big question is, can they gel in an official match and walk away with some hardware?
Oh my goodness, you gotta wonder if there's more animosity in this match than we previously thought.
What a barrage of stops, thunder and lightning raining Down on the Challenger here.
Complete. Tag your partner 3 times.
Tag.
Uh-huh, he tags in his partner. Oh, oh, oh man.
Okay, okay, I'll take those, I'll take those. Come on, come on, come on. You ready to get jumped? Oh my— oh, come on.
Carefully measured knee strikes.
The challenge looked unhinged.
You know what, absolutely.
All right. Both wrists captured.
That was nasty.
Damn. Okay, you know what, effective dodge there. Wait, that's crazy, that's crazy, that's crazy. All right, this match is just— this match is just going crazy and insane. You know what, Is this for—
come on, bitch!
Oh, oh, oh, oh! Get up, get up, get up!
Oh, look at this!
Get up, get up!
No! Oh my goodness! What do you mean?
And after that impact, it is going to be hard for the champ.
What do you mean?
Okay, I'mma grab Jason too.
Okay, let's talk about Turn it around with a reversal!
Let's go!
Hey, come on, come on, bitch!
Let's do it again!
You want to do it?
Oh, you want to do it again? You want to do it again? You want to do it again?
Ah, okay, damn, I thought I could do it again.
Look at this, just what a barrage of stops!
The champion imposing their will with total disregard. Putting the boots to an opponent will take the fight out of them in a hurry.
And he slides him back to the mat.
Okay, let's go.
Let's go.
Nonetheless, the match continues.
JC eats a clothesline, but Lexis King with the belt shot, and the referee never saw it.
The champions are going to retain.
Wait, foot on the ropes!
Is that the producer who was wrapped up in all this?
I think so. Seems like he's working against NXT Mutiny now.
Hold on, spear on JC!
JC Jane.
Looks like his eye's okay, or at least okay enough.
Setting up for some kind of double team move.
And down onto JC Jane with the COVID That will do it! We officially have new Unity Tag Team Champions! Let's go!
Let's go!
I'm goated! Let's go! Let's go!
I'm Not only a title win, but a major victory in the war against Mutiny.
And don't forget the assist from Troy the Producer.
Mutiny shocked the world with their invasion a couple weeks ago, but now taking their Unity Tag Titles that they held in such high regard is a shot across NXT's bow.
I have a feeling this is only the beginning between these two sides.
Welcome back, punk.
Looks like I missed out on all the fun. That was impressive how you used that goofball Troy to find where Mutiny was hiding and then win their Unity titles.
Well done.
I guess Troy's show of loyalty in our match was enough to get his job back.
And we discouraged Mutiny from trying to hide from us. They said from now on they'll be back at the Performance Center.
I have to admit, I'm a little jealous you got your hands on the Unity Champions after what they did to me, but I'll get my shot sooner than later.
I know you will. Which leads us to our next move. We've spoken to the GMs and we think the best strategy is to divide and conquer between Raw and SmackDown.
At least Aldis and Pearce have our backs.
I'm like old Triple H. It's, um, my rise. That's what it's called. It's called My Rise. But it's basically like a career mode, but it's called My Rise. They do have career mode though, and they have an island as well. The island that completed chapter 1 and stuff earlier. I'm waiting for chapter 2. So this is My Rise. This is basically like a story to draft, you know, WWE stars and whatever. New wrestlers basically. So they're creating their own story and stuff like that.
Yeah, it is convenient. I can't believe he's still staying neutral. Makes you wonder if there's something else going on there.
In any event, if we split up, we'll have coverage on both brands to fight off any mutiny attacks. I'll be headed to SmackDown, and I'll be focusing on Raw.
What about you, punk?
I think it makes sense for me to float between both brands to help keep an eye on things. There's a lot of top names jumping ship, and I'd like to use my influence to put an end to that.
Sounds like a solid plan. Which branch should we focus on first?
Take no prisoners! I'm going to change the name of the character real quick too.
Let me change the name of the character.
I'm putting you in the best match of the card. Wanna take it?
The following is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from New York, weighing in at 163 pounds, Superstar!
Here is your winner, Superstar!
The WWE Universe will be buzzing about this one.
What do you think?
So I guess I completed the MyRise on stuff. Um, the universe. I don't know what to— I already did the island. Money in the bank.
I don't know, let me see.
I must complete this further and showcase. Where's showcase at?
Okay, yeah, I want to see because I haven't completed showcase.
Tomo Sakawa lifting Cody Rhodes up.
Spear from Roman!
Cover! Hook to the leg! Cody somehow survives! Are you kidding me?
How?
How did Rhodes survive?
Desire is how, Corey. Grit is how, Corey. This is how Cody Rhodes wants to finish his story.
What the— boo! Fuck you, Cena! Fuck you, Cena! Nothing.
Cena's at WrestleMania!
A saving grace for Cody Rhodes. John Cena here to fight off Solo Sikoa.
Solo sent crashing to the outside. Courtesy of the franchise.
You telling me that they put me as John Cena up in this thing with a finisher stored? Approach a standing opponent and press R2 to perform your fin— oh my God.
Cena's got Roman, and it's an adjustment!
Down goes Reigns. Cena, we're going to muscle up Roman.
Attitude adjustment.
Reigns is hurt.
That was crazy. You failed the following objective. Now get some payback on Solo Sakura for going for your announce adjustment. Are you kidding? How did I fail?
And another to the judgment!
The Tribal Chief has been dropped!
Cena, looking to muscle up Roman. Attitude Adjustment! Reigns is It's hurt.
Oh, oh yeah!
Let's go, let's go! Oh, I could get nothing when I've been here. Oh, hold on guys! Hold on, you got to be kidding me! Oh my God, is that the final cock?
I mean, the final rock?
I mean, the final boss? Brings back memories from WrestleMania over a decade ago. Now this is a WrestleMania moment. Rock and Cena face to face, feeding off the electricity of this crowd.
This is absolutely surreal.
Oh, drop to the rock bottom!
The final boss strikes and Cena is down.
And now The Rock taking off the, the Mama Rhodes weight belt and he's going to use it against Cody.
What?
Oh, no way, no way, guys!
What is going on here?
We know that music all too well, but it's, it's Seth Rollins! And a Superman Punch by Reigns intercepts Rollins, who's out here in the old Shield gear!
I don't know why. But why does The Undertaker's theme song sound like the Taco Bell theme, or with the bell when it goes— like, what if The Undertaker's theme song was actually made after the Taco Bell theme?
Oh my gosh, the Great One face to face with the Reaper at WrestleMania!
With a signature stored, approach a standing opponent And press R2 to perform your signature.
Undertaker with the Rock!
Chokeslam! The Undertaker's back at WrestleMania! Unreal! And now Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes struggling to, to grab a hold of the steel chair in the ring.
Both men struggling to their feet. Roman beats Cody Rhodes, and this could be disastrous for the American Nightmare.
Poetic justice.
Roman has never forgotten and has never forgiven.
Roman Reigns setting up, looking for the spear to put Cody away. No, Cody catches Roman.
Crossroads, and another Crossroads, looking for the trifecta now.
Finish the story!
Everybody seems to think that WrestleMania 40 was the night The Bloodline ended, but anyone who knows us knows that it's going to take more than one bad night to bring us down. If anything, we're just getting started.
Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I serve as special counsel and the wise man to your tribal chief, Roman Reigns.
Hopefully you guys are enjoying the live. I mean, you know, I'm trying to progress the live quickly for you guys and stuff like that.
In the entire history of WWE.
The Bloodline has all the damn gold!
For nearly 40 years, I have worked for, alongside, and even employed the absolute greatest superstars to ever do it.
Just how dangerous do you want to live?
I've created the Dangerous Alliance, led an extreme revolution with ECW, and managed the most legendary of all champions. And for me, none of that compares to the relationship I've built with the Anoa'i, Fatu, and Maivia families, the triumvirate that composes this dynasty that we know more colloquially as the Bloodline. My time with this family goes back 40 years. I've led them into battle, strategized them and have watched their children grow into top-tier superstars who have also created their own impressive legacies. And so it is my great honor to serve as your host for the WWE 2K25 Showcase featuring a dynasty like no other— The Bloodline.
When you look at this incredible family tree, this is proof that there is only one royal family in professional wrestling, bound by blood.
A blood bond forged between High Chief Peter Maivia and Amatu'a Anae Anoa'i, the father of Atha and Sika, the Wild Samoans, created a force that has dominated professional wrestling for over 5 decades. An elite collection boasting names like the Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika, as well as The Rock, Rikishi, Umaga, Yokozuna, Nia Jax, Jimmy and Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and of of course, your tribal chief, Roman Reigns. They've owned championships, filled arenas, packed stadiums, broken box office records. Years and decades of dedication to the craft, perfecting their art with each passing generation, ultimately leading us to right here, right now, with The Bloodline having dominated WWE for the last half decade. As your humble wise man, it is my duty to take you through some of the most ferocious battles featuring the greatest warriors in the family. Not everything goes according to plan, and this year we're going to give you a chance to right the historical wrong. Wrongs and change history to bring more glory to the Bloodline. It's our showcase, after all. Honestly, their only real competition is themselves.
Acknowledge me!
All of this fighting amongst each other, this constant power struggle—
it—
no, I won't let all of that in this moment. Because it's not just about Solo Sikoa or Roman Reigns. It's not just about the Usos. It's about every single member of their family that came before them, who built the lineage and who made them into the superstars that they've become today. It's been said elsewhere that wrestling has more than one royal family. That's undeniably true. Also undeniably true is that for all of those other families, there's only one Bloodline.
Guide us deep.
In a family that specialized in brute force over the years, perhaps no one better personified this than Rodney Anoa'i, nephew to the Wild Samoans, better known to the WWE Universe as the mighty Yokozuna. The family's first World Heavyweight Champion, Yokozuna arrived to WWE in the fall of 1992. An imposing behemoth to say the least, Yokozuna would make an immediate statement winning the 1993 Royal Rumble just a few months after his debut. This Victory would grant him a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 9, where he took on Bret 'The Hitman' Hart. This meteoric rise to the top was only a hint of the dominance Yokozuna would have on WWE for the next year. 2 WWE Championships, a WWE Tag Team Championship, victory over the era's tight Titans like Bret Hart, Undertaker, Lex Luger, and Hulk Hogan.
Uh, Yokozuna is my middle name. I'm named after my uncle. I carry it with like so much pride and weight on my shoulders just because of like what he's done for this business and like who he is as a person too.
It's a cool middle name to have, man.
I represent it with the pride, man, that I have. Hopefully, man, I'm making him proud by doing this.
The manner in which Yokozuna melded incredible size with unspeakable agility shocked the WWE Universe, who to that point were used to their monsters hitting hard but moving slow. Yokozuna broke the mold, punishing opponents with superkicks, uranagis, leg drops, and of course his devastating Banzai Drop, a maneuver so effective that once it had connected, nobody kicked out of it.
Nobody.
Rodney was a very unique talent. I think the way he was able to handle all the pressure, you know, it was kind of parallel to how he was in the ring. For someone to be so big and to be so nimble You just don't see that very often. Rodney was one of those first solo guys, singles competitor guys, that was able to go out there and really just make waves, make a big splash. I mean, pun intended, I guess. You know, that fool jumped in the pool, he'd knock out all the water, and that's the way it felt sometimes. He would go into those arenas and just suck in all the energy and be able to give it back. So when I look at Rodney, Adani, I see someone very similar to me, someone who understands the top, the very, very top of the, of the game, the top position, and everything that goes along with it.
In a career filled with so many highlight reel moments, perhaps nothing stands out more than when Yokozuna faced and defeated the so-called Immortal Hulk Hogan at the first King of the Ring event in 1993. Looking to humiliate Hogan after the Hulkster stole Yokozuna's WWE Championship only 2 minutes after Yokozuna defeated Bret Hart for the title months earlier at WrestleMania 9. Yokozuna entered the ring totally focused on the task at hand, and on that night, he not only got revenge, but his victory would send Hogan packing from the WWE for nearly 9 years.
Hulk Hogan is finished.
Many felt that Yokozuna had indeed killed Hulkamania. Now you get to possess the power of the mighty Yokozuna and deal out punishment to Hulk Hogan to walk out of the King of the Ring a 2-time WWE Champion showcase the ability and the agility that made Yokozuna a Hall of Fame performer and take Hulkamania down.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is an event of international magnitude.
Photographers from around the world as they are documenting the energy in this arena is palpable. These competitors—
Michael Cole.
Okay guys, so I'm gonna have to end this stream right here, um, but But I will be streaming on Wednesday, this next Wednesday. Um, and yeah, I'm gonna have to cut it short.
