A sermon on building your life on a solid foundation. The speaker uses a house metaphor to argue that without Christ as your base, your ambitions will crumble when storms hit. Pursue goals rooted in faith, not hollow ones built on unstable ground.

It might not be that you're lacking ambition, but you're lacking a foundation. A lot of people are willing to go after what they desire. They're willing to go work for it, but they simply lack a layer of foundation that actually helps them build up. A builder, when it comes to build a house, he doesn't start without a foundation, right? Nothing can be built unless there is a solid foundation underneath. A sinking sand would sink the entire structure above it. And so you need to have a bedrock below you. And how you build this foundation all depends on what you're trying to do. And as a believer in Christ, we should build our foundation on the rock, which is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. And so in whatever I do, I know what my foundation is. And because I know that foundation is solid, I know that what I build on top of it, no matter, no matter the season I'm going through, no matter the winds or the hurricanes or the tornadoes, I know that it's built on a solid foundation and it will last. Amen. So please don't build a foundation on something that is sinking, temporary, something that will break down and become void. But no, don't have hollow ambition, but ambitions filled with truth and a solid ground. Thank you.
