I think something that clicked for me was that Islam was not in competition with Christianity or Judaism, which made me not feel threatened, which helped me to understand there's only one God. Yes. I believe that. That all of the prophets he sent were here to advise us. And that when I did research and I looked in the Bible, I was like, jesus literally said, there's going to be another guy to come. So if I really believe in Jesus, I really have to believe. He said, there's going to be another guy, which means there's going to be another guy. And when I did the research of the Quran, I was like, wow, subhanallah. This is crazy. I think the Prophet Muhammad is the guy that came. And it was really easy for me. So I hope it's easy for everybody. But when I realized this and I called my mom and I'm like, why did our family and our lineage literally, like, disbelieve in the final prophet? Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. If they were good Christians. And she's like, candace, maybe they never had the info. Maybe they lived in a rural area. Like, maybe they never were exposed to it. And I was like, oh, maybe we'll give them the benefit. But I now I'm here.
