Happiness that we all seek? Let's hear from those insiders, experts and strategists that actually make it happen. I'm your host, Ashley Alderson from the Boutique Hub and I can't wait to chat.
Hey guys. I am am so excited to just share some personal time with you today because it's a big day. Today is our season ender of season three of the Boutique Chat podcast. We have been going strong at the podcast all year long with over a hundred guests now total on the podcast. And we just hit a ginormous, if that's a word, milestone that I can't wait to tell you about in just a second. But before I do, I just want to tell you this. Thank you. Thanks for showing up every week, you guys. You took me with you on the treadmill. You took me with you in your car with your family. I know some of your kids now know what my voice sounds like. I won't pretend that's creepy. Some of you have said you've fallen asleep listening to me, not with me. Also a little bit creepy, but still deeply appreciated. You guys have been so great to shoot me messages every single week. Ajalderson on my personal Instagram and also at the Boutique Hub and on our business Instagram and just share your thoughts. You've shared your biggest wins, your takeaways, the actions that you guys have been inspired to take because business is lonely. And I'm just so thankful that you have come here and you have trusted me to be a source and to be a mentor and to be a friend that's able to walk through this business with you. I personally know what it's like to feel so alone on this journey and feel like, gosh, my family doesn't understand me. My friends don't understand me. Half of them don't think I can do what I say I'm going to do, right? They. They think my dreams a little bit crazy. So who is out there who is like me? And it's kind of like Brenda Burchard says, when we have three types of friends, right? We have old friends by Felicia. We have maintenance friends. And sometimes maintenance friends is maintenance family or maintenance coworkers, if we're being honest. And then we have growth friends. And I truly believe that life is better when you share it with people and you surround yourself with people like you, who get it and who see you not just for who you are or who others think you are, but for really who you're meant to be. Really. The friends that have vision in sight of what you're after, what you're searching for, what you're dreaming about. And they believe in you and they're going to stand beside you as you follow those dreams. So don't be afraid to seek more growth, friends, whether that's here on the podcast or in the hub or in your community. Reach out and surround yourself with like minded people because. Because it is so much easier to get through this crazy entrepreneurial journey when you have friends and family and growth friends that are there to back you up. A community to back you up every single day. And that's really what my mission is here at the Hub and what it's always been. It's what our entire team's mission is. You guys know that when I've talked about vision boards, the very center of my vision board says, you changed my life. And I'll be honest, every time I see that, if you guys send me a message or a screenshot or of your sales numbers or your results, whatever's happening and you say those words, which I hear a lot, or similar words, it gives me goosebumps every single time because I know that I am then living in God's purpose for my life. And that is to see the purpose in your life and help you to fulfill it. So again, I just really want to personally thank you for showing up and just sharing this space with me on the podcast. And for those of you that are members inside of the Boutique Hub, we get to see each other every single day. I really appreciate that too. So I want to celebrate a couple things with you about this season's podcast. So we're wrapping up season three and this year we added a couple of new features to the podcast. We went through some editing changes so hopefully we can bring you a higher quality podcast. We also added video so you can catch these episodes on YouTube if that's also more convenient for you. And we added some awesome partners this year to help make this podcast possible. So you've heard from comments sold and Makeup Junkie bags and Sezzle and some great part partners that are here aligned with our mission at the Boutique Hub and here on the Boutique Chat podcast. So I'm thankful for those changes and I'm even more thankful for the awesome people who spent their time with me each and every week showing up on the Podcast, you guys, our guests were on fire this season from Jasmine Star, who, you know, really is an idol of mine. I think she's doing such great work in the world of social media. Nicole Walters was a huge guest that we had just a awesome personality, awesome human being. Tanya Dalton, you guys, that was probably one of our top episodes all season long. You guys took so many takeaways and notes from that episode, and I love her books. I really do hope you have a chance to read her books. Also, our visual merchandising podcast was one of my favorites. If you guys have brick and mortars and you have not listened to that, please do Badia. She's got just such an amazing gift, and I know you're going to take a ton of notes away. Also, Jane Casper. Her episode where we dug into email marketing was legit. It was like an entire email marketing course in a podcast. It was so, so good. Paul Erickson and Mary from Management one, those were also huge episodes for us. And then I want to thank Crystal Rose, who's been my personal mindset coach for the last year. Not just for the work she's done with me, but she was able to give back to you as well and show up as a guest on the podcast. She also joined us in LA for our retail bootcamp students and did a personal breathwork session there. That was really a good episode as well. Also, thank you to all the boutique owners who were a part of this season on the show. Holly from Vintage Leopard. I mean, she is a total rock star and boss. Lorinda, who is here. Morgan Phillips, who is here. Key. I loved having Key here. Nicole Palmer, Mallory Fitzsimmons. That was an earlier episode about influencers. Definitely check that one out. Also, Ashley from Makoma Boutique. Man, you guys, awesome boutique owners who were able to share their story and their journey as well on the podcast. And then I also want to thank our hub team who showed up this season on the podcast. Jeff was here talking about ads and SEO. Sarah's been here talking about all kinds of numbers and team and business management. Shannon's been here talking about content, and Beth has been here talking about events as well and markets. You guys are awesome and we could not do this without all of you at the Boutique Hub and making it possible. And a very, very, very special thank you, you guys, to Meredith Palmetlo. Meredith has been our editor of the podcast. This is her baby. She has made this thing what it is. So, Meredith, I really want to thank you for all you've done since seventh grade. You guys, since seventh grade, she's been working at the Boutique Hub. Is that crazy? She's a total rock star. So, Meredith, thank you. I appreciate you so much at the Hub and as a friend as well. All right, you guys want to hear some big news? Can I tell you some, like, I can't even believe this big news? So as we're wrapping up, here goes. As we're wrapping up season three of the podcast, you guys, we just hit 1 million downloads. A million? That's crazy bonkers to me, you guys. When we first started this, I was like, oh, man, if 100 people listen to it, I'm going to be so excited. But a million downloads is a very rare thing in the podcast world. So I am beyond thankful for you guys for making that happen. And I have a huge giveaway I want to announce today just to give back and say thank you for listening, because I want to keep you included as we celebrate this million download Milestone that's since 2018. We've had over 500 five star reviews, we've had 170 episodes, over 100 guests, and you guys have kept this, like, trucking along every single week. So thank you for making this possible, you guys. All right, as we wrap up, let's talk about this giveaway. Okay, so if you have a second today, and if you have not done this already, please subscribe to the podcast. So here's what to expect going forward for the next couple weeks, because, you know, I'm not going to leave you hanging, right? Your business is, like, in the busiest fourth quarter of the century right now, right? It is. Inventory gate, if we could call it that. Y' all are like on ski jets, ready to go out and get some boxes off of some cargo ships. So here's what's going to happen in the meantime. We're going on a season break. We will relaunch with season four right at the first of the year on December 28th, because we have a huge event in January that is for free for every single one of you called the Best Year yet series. So we're going to kick off Best Year yet with the relaunch of season four on December 28th, so you can mark your calendars for that.
